WARRANTY
FAST&FLUID MANAGEMENTTHENETHERLANDS guarantees everymachinetobe free frommaterial and
assembly defects.
Pleaserefertotermsand conditionsofsale inforce whenthe machine wasbought.
The damaged partsmust besenttoFAST&FLUID MANAGEMENTTHE NETHERLANDSwithforwarding costs
prepaid bythe user.
If thedefectiscaused byimproperor abnormaluse,therepairs willbebilledat normalcost. In thiscasean estimate
maybesubmittedbeforestarting repairs, ifrequired.
ALWAYSSTATETHESERIAL NUMBEROF THEMACHINEINANYCORRESPONDENCE CONCERNING SPARE
PARTS. The serialnumber is located ontheleft side ofthemachine body.
These agreements mustbe interpretedaccording tothe lawsof theNetherlands and forany dispute thecourtof
Sassenheimshallhave competentjurisdiction.
The manufacturer’swarrantyexpires:

andforsemi-industrialapplications.
FAST&FLUIDMANAGEMENThighspeedshakerSO300hasbeendesigned tofulfiltheneedsbothofthe
retailbusinesswithlimitsin productscapacity/quantityand the professionalandsemi-industrialbusinesswith
thepossibilityofhandlingbigcanswithaheight upto440 mm andweight ofup to35kg.
Themachinerequiresaverylittle maintenanceandpaint canbe produced atalowcost.
Thesystemworkswithan automaticblocking and shaking device, foratimesetbythe customer.

Safeuseofthemachine
The producershall takethe allpossible careinplanning, designing, the checking the installation and the startup ofthe
machine toguaranteethemaximumoperationallevelduringa rationaluseofthe systemsupplied.
All components must beinaccordancewiththe currentsafetyregulations. Upto datesafetysystemsareinstalled in the
machine toensure the bestprotectionavailable atthemoment.
While using SO300 you must keep tothefollowing safetyrules:
The“end-user” mustkeep tothe safetyregulationsofthecountrywherethemachine isinstalled. Ifthereisa
conflict betweenEuropeanregulationandlocal regulation, themost severerule willapplyonthespecific
issue.
Installationandmaintenanceof SO300shakermust becarried out byaqualified technician.
Safetyruleswhenthemachineisoperating
1.To avoidinjuries, allpanelsofthe bodyofthe machine mustbeassembled and correctly fixed to theframe.
2.Donottamper the protective controlsystemand the doorlocking device.
3. Before any inspectionandmaintenanceoperationon SO300, disconnectitfromthe mainsoutlettoavoid
unexpected starts.
4. Do not leaveinside the SO300 tools after servicing
5. Makesure the environmentinwhichthemachineis installedcomplies withthe laws inforce (youneed tohave an
authorizationissued bythe Fire Brigade or bythecompetentauthority)andavoid adangerousmassingofpaint
cans. Itisforbidden to storeflammable materials orothermaterialsinsidethemachine.Using naked flames, white –
hot objects or any devicethat mightgenerate sparksin the room where the machine is placed.
6. Itisadvisable toinstallaventilationsystem,to guarantee that close to themachine thevapordilutionislower than
30%
7. Whenworkisfinished,do not leave the can(s) inside themachine anddonot leave themachineswitchedon.
8. Inthepremiseswhere theSO300isinstalled, within a5meterrangefromthemachine, theremust be aplatewith
the writing “Smockingis strictly forbidden”.

Avoid operatingtheSO300if itisnot loadedwithacan.
Neverusealoadwithaweight over35Kg.
Removeall cansinsidethemachinebeforeswitching itoff.
Donotplaceany damagedcan insidetheSO300. Consequent ruptureduringmixing maycausedamageto
theshaker.Running theSO300withdamaged packaging isatUser'srisk.
Alreadydamagedcansmaycausedamageto theyourmachine.
During themaintenancefollowthe securityrulesandtheproceduredescribedin thisparagraph.
TheSO300istobeoperated onlybytrained personnel. FAST&FLUIDMANAGEMENTTHE
NETHERLANDSshallnotbe liableforanydamage orinjurycausedbynon-compliancewiththe"user" and
"safety" regulationspresentedin thismanual,orbynottaking the usualandacceptedprecautionsin
handling,operatingorrepairing,evenifnot expresslystatedin thismanual.

7.4. Generaldangersituations
Thereisnot anyparticularhazardoussituation(e.g. firerisk,loss/emissionofdangeroussubstances)butin
anycaseit isnecessarytohaveat handapowderextinguisherforpossiblefire(electricalequipments).

Forsafetyreasons,allusersshould knowthepositionandthewaytouse theredemergency push
button.
Theemergency RED pushbutton isassembledontheoperatorpanel onthe frontpartofthemachine.
Pressing thisbutton causestheimmediatestop oftheshakingcycle andthedisconnectionofthe power
supplystoppingtheshakingmotor.Thenormal functionalitiesofthe equipmentarerestoredbyturningthe
emergency pushbuttonclockwise.Incaseofemergencystop duringtheshakingcycle,the machine
functionalitieswillbe restored aftertheresetprocedure(just pressStop/Up).
Doorlock(solenoid)and door-openmicro-switch
Thesecomponentsarepart of thesamesafetydevice(solenoid + micro-switch),whichpreventsshaking
cycle fromstartingif the doorisopen.During shakingcycle,thesolenoidkeepthedoorsafelylocked.

10.1.SWITCHINGSO300ON
Whenthe machineisoff, the doorislocked.
Checkthat theemergency button (10)isnotpressedin;ifitis,turnit90°clockwise.
SwitchSO300onsimplypluggingitin the mainssocket. Thegreen led “LINE”(1)willturnon.
If theupper(moving)plateisnot inthe‘completelyopen’position,itwill automaticallyunclamp.

Openthedoorand placethe caninthecentreofthe lowerplate;thenclosethedoor.

10.3.CANCLAMPING
The‘Canclamping’functionkeepsthecanblockedwhile themachineisshaking.
Amotorguaranteesthecontinuousclamping onthecan,whichiscontrolled byadedicated sensor.
Theclampingforceissetin thefactoryduringthe finaltest oneachshaker;in anycase,theforcecan be
modifiedbyatechnician(through theOperatorPanel)accordingtotheneeds/requirement of thecustomer.
Defaultvaluesare:
-Biggercans(upto35Kg)= 350 Kgclampingforce
-Smallercans(upto10Kg)= 250 Kgclampingforce
SO300 shakerhasanothersensor,whichrecognizesthe sizeofthecan in theinnershakingframe(bigger
orsmallercan); according tothat, thecorrect clamping pressure(1or2)isautomaticallychosenbythe
machineitself.
If,while the machine isshaking,theabove-mentionedsensorcannotdetect thecananymore,theshaking
cycle isstopped and awarningnoiseisuttered.
10.4.CANSHAKING
Theshaking cyclestartsbypressingoneofthethree buttonsT1,T2,T3, whichhave3pre-setvalueswith
differentshakingtimes(1,2or3minutes,bydefault).
Alsothese3parametershavebeenpre-setin the testing phase(in thefactory); inanycasetheycanbe
modifiedbyatechnician(through theOperatorPanel)accordingtotheneeds/requirement of thecustomer,
previousconsentofFast &Fluid Management.
Shaking:afterpressingbuttonT1(orT2orT3)the upperplatelowerstill it touchesthecan.Afterthesensor
hasascertained thatthe caniswellclamped,theshakingstarts.
At the endoftheshaking, theupperplategoesupforabout4second, andthen stops.
Shakingcan bestopped anytimebypressingbuttonStop/Up, ortheemergencybutton.
Inthismoment doorcanbeopenedandthecanmayberemoved.
Whenshaking cycleisfinished,pleaseremembernottoleavethecaninsidethemachine.

13.SAFETY
Alloperationsaremonitoredbythe residentprogramof themachinetoguaranteetheuserworkinginsafe
conditions.Ifsafetysystemisviolated, allmachinemovements(clamping,unclamping,shaking)immediately

Driedpaintcanberemoved withabroadknife.ThenUseanynon abrasivecleaningproduct fordomestic
useonwashable surfaces.

broad knife.
To cleanlubricatedparts, justuse a
cloth,whichwill remove the paint

14.4.Threadedshaftsand springslubrication
Recommendedlubricants
Useagenericadhesiveyellowgreaseforopengears,grade N.G.L.I.2.
Howtoproceed
•Greasing
•Switchthemachine on(plugit into the
mains); doorshallbe closed.
•Lower completelythe upper plate by
pressing anyofthe startbuttons(T1,
T2,T3).Before the shaking starts,
press Stop/Up.
•Openthe door.
•Unplug the machine fromthe mains.
•Removethe greaseand possible dried
paint (seeparagraph 12.3).
•Then putsome grease witha brush
onthe springs betweeninnermost
cradle and middle cradle.
•Pluginthemachine.
•Closethe door.
•Pressanyofthe start buttons (T1,
T2,T3),then Stop/Upbuttonsto
slidethe upper plate onthe
shafts.
•Repeattheoperation severaltimes.
