1. Safety Instructions / Warning - Read before start-up !
•The device may only be used for the intended purpose designed by for the manufacturer.

2. Introduction
This description describes how the TCP/IP address can be configured on the ID ISC.MR200-E reader
using the tool “Digi Device Discovery (dgdiscvr.exe)”. Later reader versions will be able to change the
TCP/IP address by using the demo program ID ISOStart.

3. Installation of Digi Device Discovery
Please unzip the file dgdiscvr.zip and copy the file “dgdiscvr.exe” onto the hard disc of your PC.
4. Change the TCP-IP address
1. Connect the ID ISC.MR200-E reader via the TCP/IP interface to the PC and switch the power
supply on.
2. Start the program “Digi Device Discovery” by double click onto “dgdiscvr.exe”
3. The following window appears and the program shows the current default TCP/IP address
(192.168.10.10) of the reader.
4. If the reader has been detected press the button “Configure network settings”.

5. In the following window you can change the settings (IP Address and Subnet Mask). Then press
the button “Save”.
6. The updating process will take a few seconds.
7. After the process has been finished the new TCP/IP address should be displayed.
8. Close the program “Digi Device Discovery” and check the function using the ID ISOStart program
or any other program which support the TCP/IP interface.
