41AP / 41AP Lite Power Voltage
Calibration
FY-41AP AFSS upgrade to firmware V1.24 or above version，FY-41AP Lite AFSS
upgrade to firmware V1.03 or above version and work with GCS5.11 or above version can
realize power voltage calibration function. Operation steps of power voltage calibration :
( 1 ) Confirm that the FY-41AP / FY-41AP LiteAFSS have been upgraded to correct
firmware, the GCS software have been update to GCS5.11 or above version.
( 2 ) Plug the power manager to the “CS”power port on the FY-41 AFSS module.
( 3 ) The AFSS module connect to the GCS software. It can connect via the USB
data cable or data radio. If the AFSS module connect to the GCS software via the
USB data cable directly, please pick out the red wire (power wire) from the USB cable
before plug into the “UART”port on the FY-41AP / FY-41AP Lite AFSS module,
otherwise the AFSS module will be powered on by USB data cable and power
manager at the same time and it will cause a damage of the devices.
( 4 ) Measure the actual voltage of the batteries, record as: V0 .
( 5 ) Connect the batteries to the power manager，the voltage display on the
GCS(BAT1) record as V1 .
Formula for voltage calibration ratio：C=V0 / V1 * 100

For example: Actual voltage of the batteries V0 =15.76 V ;
Voltage display on the GCS V1=15.5 V
Voltage Ratio C=15.74/15.5*100=1.017*100=102
( 6 ) Settings of voltage calibration: Click on “Read” button in page ”para1”on
parameters settings toolbar, read out the current parameters in the AFSS module.
The default parameter of “V correct ”is “0 ”.It means that the voltage display without
calibration. If the voltage is need to be correct, please calculate the voltage ratio
"C" according to the above steps，then enter into the “V correct ”editing box , click
on ”Set ”button to confirm the setting of this parameter ( For example : 102) . After
finish the power voltage calibration, please click on “Save”button to save the setting
to the AFSS module, otherwise the autopilot will restore the original settings after
power off.
( 7 ) After the voltage calibration success, the voltage display on the GCS (“BAT1”)
is the power voltage which have been calibrated .
Without changing any devices ( FY-41AP/FY-41AP Lite AFSS module or power
manager ), voltage calibration and “Save”operation only need for once .
