Description
The SCB-7 Smoke Control Board provides the Input-
Output control tables for the Fire Smoke Control System
(FSCS). Its main function is to monitor the system for
alarms and to activate the appropriate fans and dampers
within the FSCS. Each SCB-7 has the ability to control
eight separate Smoke Control groups with the LSN-2000
system. Each Smoke Control group can contain up to
99 smoke zones. The SCB-7 is intelligent to prevent
smoke zones from activating when another smoke zone
in that same group is already activated. The SCB-7
Smoke Control Board also provides a Real Time Clock
to allow users to program test timers for any smoke zone
as required. When used in a graphical Fire Smoke Con-
trol System, the SCB-7 Smoke Control Board provides
outputs for a Common Alarm LED, Common Trouble
LED, Audio Sounder and inputs for Acknowledge and
Enable switches.
The SCB-7 Smoke Control board provides the distrib-
uted I/O database for the FSCS. The Smoke Control
Board is installed in the FSCS and provides the required
smoke zone control of dampers and fans.

Engineering Specications
