FireSales Vesta
Volg bij het gebruik nauwkeurig de instructies en richtlijnen, zoals omschreven zijn
in deze handleiding. Wijzig nooit de volgorde van de te verrichten handelingen. Indien één
of ander niet duidelijk is omtrent het gebruik, neem dan contact op met FireWare.
Het apparaat dient enkel gebruikt te worden door volwassen personen die op de hoogte zijn
van hetgeen in deze gebruikershandleiding staat. Het mag alleen door deskundigen in een
professionele oefensituatie worden toegepast.
Het is een oefenapparaat. Gebruik dit apparaat alleen waar het voor bedoeld is.
De locatie van het apparaat moet:
• vrij van explosieve gassen zijn.
• goed geventileerd met rookvrije lucht zijn.
• onontvlambaar en niet gevoeilig voor hitte zijn.
• op minimaal 5 meter van elk ontvlambaar, explosie- of hittegevoelig object zijn
Verwijder nooit een informatief of waarschuwingslabel van het apparaat.
De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade of letsel veroorzaakt
door het niet (strikt) naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en -instructies in deze han-
dleiding, danwel door onachtzaamheid tijdens gebruik van het in dit document vermelde
product en de eventueel bijbehorende accessoires.
Gebruik dit apparaat nooit als deze beschadigd is. Indien onderdelen beschadigd zijn dienen
ze vervangen te worden door personeel van FireWare.
Gebruik alleen hulpstukken / accessoires die zijn gespeciceerd door FireWare.
LET OP: Dit apparaat NOOIT gebruiken in aanwezigheid van kinderen en dieren.
Maak het apparaat NOOIT open. Dit kan elektrische schokken geven en hiermee
vervalt iedere vorm van garantie.
Wanneer service of reparatie noodzakelijk is, mag dit product UITSLUITEND door een
technicus van FireWare geopend worden; dit om de kans op het krijgen van een elek-
trische schok te voorkomen. Als er een probleem optreedt, koppel het product dan los van
het lichtnet en neem contact op met FireWare.
Schud het apparaat niet. Gebruik geen brute kracht, wanneer u het apparaat installeert of
bedient en zet het appraat niet snel achter elkaar herhaaldelijk aan en uit, dit beperkt de
levensduur van het apparaat.

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw FireSales Vesta!
De FireSales Vesta is speciaal ontworpen voor blusoefeningen. Het apparaat is gemaakt voor
opleidingsdoeleinden en dient dan ook als zodanig te worden gebruikt.
Voor de ingebruikname dient u deze handleiding grondig door te nemen,
zodat u geheel op de hoogte bent van het gebruik, de werking en de
kenmerken van de FireSales Vesta.

Plaats het apparaat stabiel op een vlak oppervlak en zorg dat het apparaat niet kan
omvallen.
Plaats het apparaat altijd op een goed bereikbare plaats, zodat bij de oefening het
apparaat ‘snel en gemakkelijk’ uitgeschakeld kan worden, zonder het risico te lopen dat het
apparaat omvalt.
Voor een langere levensduur van de accu, laat u deze continu aan de lader als de blustrain-
er niet in gebruik is.
Gebruik alleen propaan of butaan als brandstof voor de blustrainer.
Plaats de gases op een afstand van minimaal 4 meter van de blustrainer.
Zorg ervoor dat gasessen altijd stevig rechtop staan en niet om kunnen vallen.
Als een gases wordt omgewisseld, sluit dan altijd de afsluiter op de gases.
Dek de gasuitstroomopening aan de bovenkant van de blustrainer NOOIT volledig
af. Dit kan onherstelbare schade aanrichten.
Gebruik de knop EXTRA GASUITGANG alleen voor de extra module en in combinatie
met de AAN/UIT knop.
Gebruik de extra gasuitgang ALLEEN voor extra modules.
Sluit de blustrainer NOOIT direct aan op de gases, maar altijd met de bedieningshand-
greep ertussen.
Let op de datum die op de gasslang is geprint. De datum is de uiterste gebruiksdatum; de
slang moet worden vervangen, voordat de datum is bereikt.
Raak het apparaat NIET aan wanneer het aanstaat, het kan HEET worden.
Zorg dat alle personen zich bevinden aan de kant van het apparaat waar de wind vandaan
komt.
Laat de blustrainer nooit langer dan 3 minuten achtereen branden. Laat het apparaat
daarna eerst enige tijd afkoelen, voordat u hem opnieuw ontsteekt.
Laat de blustrainer altijd minstens 20 minuten afkoelen, voordat u hem verplaatst of terug-
plaatst in het krat.
Gebruik NOOIT extra brandstoffen, zoals olie of vet.
Houd brandbare materialen of oppervlakken op een afstand van minimaal 5 meter.

Houd altijd een extra blusapparaat bij de hand.
Verwijder voor gebruik papier, bladeren en dood gras etc.
Plaats NOOIT voorwerpen (doeken e.d.) over het apparaat heen als het in gebruik is, het
apparaat is heet en kan schoeiplekken en brand veroorzaken.
Dit apparaat is bestemd voor toepassing BUITENSHUIS.
Verbrand nooit spuitbussen etc. in het vuur.
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat en de snoeren op een veilige locatie geplaatst worden, zodat
er geen personen over kunnen uitglijden, struikelen of vallen. Tape de snoeren zo nodig
vast aan de vloer.
LET OP! voor het eerste gebruik de accu 24 uur opladen.
ALLÉÉN blussen met water, sproeischuim of CO2. Blussen met poeder verkort de
levensduur en hiermee vervalt dan ook alle garantie.
Stel de accu niet bloot aan temperaturen onder 0˚C.
Controleer de blustrainer, gases en gasslang voor ieder gebruik op beschadigingen.
Gebruik de blustrainer niet als u twijfelt aan de inzetbaarheid.”
Verplaats de blustrainer ALTIJD met behulp van zijn handgreep.
Naast bovenstaande waarschuwingen gelden voor de lader van de FireSales Vesta
ook de volgende waarschuwingen:
Dit elektrische apparaat is bestemd voor toepassing BINNENSHUIS.
Gebruik het apparaat alleen in stopcontacten voorzien van een randaarde, maximaal
220-240 Volt.
Laat de voedingskabel nooit in contact komen met andere kabels. Wees altijd voorzichtig
met de voedingskabel en alle verbindingen.
Sluit dit apparaat niet aan op een dimmer.
Haal het apparaat altijd van de stroom af, wanneer het niet in gebruik is of voordat u het
schoonmaakt. Pak de voedingskabel alleen vast bij de stekker. Trek de stekker er nooit uit
aan de kabel.
Zorg ervoor dat de voedingskabel niet geplooid zit of beschadigd raakt. Controleer het ap-
paraat en de voedingskabel eens in de zoveel tijd.
Als het apparaat is gevallen of er wordt hard tegenaan gestoten, haal dan meteen de
stroom eraf. Laat het apparaat controleren op veiligheid door een gekwaliceerd ingenieur,
voordat u er weer mee aan de slag gaat.

Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de buurt van water.
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact tijdens onweer of wanneer het apparaat gedurende een
langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt.
Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan regen of vocht om het risico van brand of elektrische schok
te voorkomen.
LET OP: koppel NOOIT andere stekkers aan het snoer van dit apparaat.

4. Ingebruikname
Gas
De FireSales Vesta kan worden gebruikt met propaan of butaan. Eén van de belangrijkste verschillen
tussen deze brandstoffen is het kookpunt ervan. Het kookpunt is de overgangstemperatuur, waarbij
vloeistof verdampt tot gas. Daarom hebben propaan en butaan een minimum temperatuur nodig
om ze als brandstof te gebruiken voor de FireSales Vesta. Propaan en butaan zijn verkrijgbaar in
stalen of kunststof essen. Het meest gebruikelijk zijn metalen essen propaan. gebruik ALTIJD een
goedgekeurde gases die volgens de normen in uw land gebruikt mag worden.
Propaan is gasvormig bij alle temperaturen boven circa -42°C. Hierdoor is propaan zeer geschikt als
brandstof voor de FireSales Vesta. Butaan heeft een hoog kookpunt van 0 tot 5°C.
LET OP: bij omgevingstemperaturen rond het vriespunt of kouder is butaan niet meer gasvormig en
kan het niet meer als brandstof voor de FireSales Vesta worden gebruikt!

1. Voer ALTIJD onderstaande controle uit, voordat u de FireSales Vesta gebruikt. Indien u bij
de controle een afwijking constateert, gebruik de FireSales Vesta dan niet.

Let op: zorg dat de lader ingesteld staat op 12 Volt.
Sluit de lader aan op de FireSales Vesta. Doe dit ALTIJD in een goed geventileerde ruimte.
Wanneer het groene indicatielampje op de lader brandt, laadt de accu op. Zodra de accu vol
is (dit duur circa 6 uur), gaat het groene lampje uit en geeft de lader geen stroom
meer af. Brandt het rode lampje, dan laadt de accu niet op. Neemt u dan contact
op met FireWare.
Controleer ALTIJD de gasslang en de elektriciteitskabel, voordat u de FireSales Vesta
gebruikt.
2. Zorg voor gebruik dat de FireSales Vesta geheel is opgeladen.
3. Zet de FireSales Vesta op een veilige plaats en sluit de afstandsbediening aan. De plug past
op één manier op de aansluiting [3] op de blustrainer. Draai de plug vervolgens aan.
4. Zet de gases op een veilige plaats op een afstand van minimaal 5 meter van de
blustrainer. Sluit de slang eerst op de FireSales Vesta [2] aan, dit is een kliksysteem.
Sluit vervolgens het andere uiteinde met de draaiknop op de gases aan.
Tussen de gases en de gasslang is een reduceerventiel/drukregelaar gemonteerd. Dit
reduceerventiel heeft een bereik tot 4 bar en is geschikt voor een opbrengst van 12 kg/uur.
Let op: draai het reduceerventiel eerst helemaal terug naar 0 bar (rechtsom), voordat u
de gaskraan opendraait. Open de gases rustig. Indien u een sissend geluid waarneemt,
sluit dan de kraan en controleer nogmaals de aansluitingen. Indien u de oorzaak niet
kunt vinden, neem dan contact op met FireWare.
5. Draai de gases helemaal open. en draai het reduceerventiel naar 1 bar. Controleer de
koppeling nu nogmaals op gasdichtheid met lekzoekspray. Door aan het reduceerventiel te
draaien (linksom), kunt u de vlamhoogte instellen. Weinig druk (0,5 tot 1 bar) geeft een
kleine vlam en als u het reduceerventiel helemaal opendraait (4 bar), krijgt u de grootste
vlam.

De afstandsbediening
Om de vlam te activeren, is een ontsteking nodig. Deze geeft u met de AAN/UIT knop. De
vlam blijft aan, zo lang u deze knop ingedrukt houdt.
Let op: als de vlam na 5 seconden niet ontsteekt, LAAT dan de knop LOS. Het kan zijn
dat er veel wind staat. Probeer het nog eens op een andere plek of neem contact op met
FireWare.
De extra module activeert u met twee knoppen. De gastoevoer regelt u met de knop
EXTRA. U ontsteekt de vlam met de AAN/UIT knop. Na ontsteking kunt u de AAN/
UIT knop loslaten. Zo lang u de EXTRA GASUITGANG knop ingedrukt laat, blijft de vlam
branden. De vlam dooft, wanneer u ook de EXTRA GASUITGANG knop loslaat.
Let op: gebruik de knop EXTRA GASUITGANG alleen voor de extra module en in
combinatie met de AAN/UIT knop. Bij foutief gebruik kan er gas uitstromen dat niet
ontbrandt. Dit kan gevaarlijke situaties veroorzaken.
Druk in geval van nood de NOODSTOP in. Alle gastoevoer stopt dan en er is geen
ontsteking meer mogelijk.
Indien de FireSales Vesta niet in gebruik is of onbeheerd wordt achterlaten, dient u de
gases te sluiten en de noodstop te activeren.
LET OP: draai het reduceerventiel bij ontsteking open tot maximaal 2 bar. Als de FireSales
Vesta brandt, kunt u het reduceerventiel verder opendraaien tot 4 bar. Indien de druk te
hoog staat ingesteld, kunt u deze terugdraaien tijdens de ontsteking. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld
voorkomen wanneer u meerdere oefeningen achter elkaar doet.

LET OP: draai altijd als eerst de gases dicht. Ontsteek de FireSales Vesta vervolgens nog één keer
met de AAN/UIT knop om ervoor te zorgen dat al het extra gas uit de slang is.
Laat de FireSales Vesta minimaal 20 minuten afkoelen en ontkoppel vervolgens de aansluitingen.
De aansluiting van de gasslang kunt u terugtrekken en vervolgens los klikken, de aansluiting van de
afstandsbediening draait u los.
Berg de FireSales Vesta op in de kist, bij voorkeur aan de lader. Door de FireSales Vesta aan de lader
te leggen, wanneer hij niet in gebruik is, verlengt u de levensduur van de accu aanzienlijk.
Probleem Oorzaak Oplossing
Er ontstaat geen vlam. Er staat veel wind.

Verklaart met enige verantwoording dat het product FireSales Vesta, een blustrainer,
artikelnummer: 049-012-001 in overeenstemming is met de volgende EU-richtlijnen: 2001/95/EG en

Daarnaast zijn bij de ontwikkeling van (delen van) dit product de volgende richtlijnen en normen, voor
zover van toepassing, in beschouwing genomen: 97/23/EG, 2009/142/EG,

10. Conformiteitsverklaring
Op de FireSales Vesta zit één jaar garantie na aankoopdatum op product- en fabricagefouten. Schade
door onzorgvuldig handelen wordt niet vergoed. Reparatie vereist deskundigheid. Het is dan ook
zeker aan te bevelen het apparaat bij defecten naar FireWare terug te sturen. De garantie vervalt
indien blijkt dat het apparaat door uzelf of derden geopend is of als u zelf of derden modicaties of
aanpassingen van welke aard dan ook hebben aangebracht zonder uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de
leverancier.
9. Garantiebepalingen
De FireSales Vesta dient minimaal elke twee jaar gekeurd te worden en de vlamdover dient hierbij
vervangen te worden. Stuur de FireSales Vesta hiervoor op naar FireWare. Het wordt aanbevolen om
het apparaat jaarlijks op te sturen naar FireWare voor onderhoud.
Reinigen is niet nodig, maar kan met een vochtige doek en een mild schoonmaakmiddel. Gebruik niet
te veel water. Mocht er toch water in het apparaat komen, ontsteek hem dan een keer om al het water
uit het systeem te krijgen.
Elektrische apparaten, accessoires en verpakkingen dienen apart te worden ingezameld, gerecycled of
op een voor het milieu verantwoorde manier te worden afgevoerd.

When using this appliance closely follow the instructions and guidelines, as described in this
manual. Never change the order of the acts to be performed. In case anything concerning
the use is not clear please contact FireSales.
Only adults who are informed about the content of this user manual should use this
appliance. It may only be used by experts in a professional exercise situation.
This is a practice appliance. Use this appliance only what it is designed for.
The location of the appliance needs to be:
• free of explosive gasses.
• properly ventilated with smoke-free air.
• non ammable or sensitive to heat.
• be at least 5 metres away from any ammable, explosive or heat-sensitive object.
Never remove warning or informative labels from the unit.
The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for damage caused by not
(strictly) observing the safety measures and instructions in this manual or for
carelessness during the use of the product listed in this document and possible
matching accessories.
Never use this appliance if it is damaged. In case parts are damaged FireSales staff needs
to replace them.
Only use attachments/accessories specied by FireSales.

NEVER open the appliance. This can cause electric shocks and will cancel any kind of war-
ranty.
In the event service or repair is required this product can ONLY be opened by a
FireSales technician; this is to prevent the risk of getting an electric shock. If a
problem occurs, disconnect the product from the mains voltage and contact FireSales.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device and do
not switch the device on and off in short intervals, as this will reduce the system’s life.

training purposes and therefore also needs to be used as such.
Prior to using it you should read this user manual thoroughly,
in order for you to be fully informed about the use, working and
the characteristics of the FireSales Vesta.

Place the appliance stabile on a at surface and make sure the appliance cannot
fall over.
Always place the appliance in an easily accessible location, so that the appliance can be
turned off ‘quickly and easily’ without running the risk of the appliance falling over.
For a longer life expectancy of the battery, leave it on the charger when the re extinguish-
er trainer is not in use.
Only use propane or butane as fuel for the re extinguisher trainer.
Place the gas cylinder at a distance of at least 4 meters from the re extinguisher trainer.
Make sure gas cylinders always stand rmly upright and cannot fall over.
If a gas cylinder is exchanged, always close the valve on the gas cylinder.
NEVER cover the gas outlet opening at the top of the re extinguisher trainer completely.
This may cause irreparable damage.
Only use the EXTRA GAS OUTLET button for the extra module and in combination with the
ON/OFF button.
Use the extra gas outlet ONLY for extra modules.
NEVER connect the re extinguisher trainer directly on the gas cylinder, always position the
operating handle in-between.
Take note of the date printed on the gas hose. This date is the maximum use by date; the
hose must be replaced before this date is reached.
DO NOT touch the appliance during and after use. It may become HOT.
Make sure all people are located on the same side of the equipment as the wind is blowing
from.
Never let the re extinguisher trainer continue burning for longer than 3 minutes. Then al-
low the device to rst cool down for some time before you ignite it again.
Always allow the re extinguisher trainer to cool down for at least 20 minutes before you
relocate it or place it back in its crate.
NEVER use extra fuels, such as oil of grease.
Keep ammable materials or surfaces at a minimum distance of 5 meters.
Always keep an extra re extinguisher at hand.

Remove paper, leaves and dead grass etc. before use.
NEVER place objects (cloth, etc) over the unit when it is in use as the unit is hot and can
cause burns and re.
This electrical appliance is intended for utilization OUTDOOR.
Never burn spray cans etc. in the re.
Make sure that the appliance and the wires can be placed in a safe location so that no one
can slip, trip or fall over it. Tape the wires to the oor if necessary.
PLEASE NOTE! Charge battery 24 hours before rst use.
ONLY extinguish with water, spray foam or CO2. Extinguishing with powder reduces the life
expectancy and all guarantees will also expire.
Do not subject the battery to temperatures below 0˚C.
Check the re extinguisher trainer, gas cylinder and gas hose for damage before every use.
Do not use the re extinguisher trainer if you have any doubts about its usability
ALWAYS move the re extinguisher trainer using its handle.
In addition to the above warnings, the following warnings also apply for the Fire-
Sales Vesta charger:
This electrical appliance is designed to be used INDOORS.
Only use the appliance in plugs with an earth connection, maximum 220-240 Volt.
Never let the power-cord come into contact with other cables. Handle the power-cord and
all connections with the mains with particular caution.
Do not connect this device to a dimmer pack.
Always disconnect power from the mains, when the device is not used or before cleaning.
Only handle the power-cord by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power-cord.
Make sure that the power-cord is never crimped or damaged. Check the device and power-
cord from time to time.
If the device is dropped or struck, disconnect mains power supply immediately. Have a

4. Use
Gas
The FireSales Vesta can be used with propane or butane. One of the main differences between these
fuels is their boiling point. The boiling point is the transition temperature at which liquid evaporates
to gas. That is why propane and butane requires a minimum temperature for use as fuel for the
FireSales Vesta. Propane and butane are available in steel or plastic cylinders. The most common are
metal propane cylinders. Always use an approved gas cylinder which may be used in accordance with
the standards in your country.
Propane is gaseous at any temperature above approximately -42°C. This makes propane perfectly
suitable as fuel for the FireSales Vesta. Butane has a high boiling point of 0 to 5°C.
Take note: At ambient temperatures around freezing or colder, butane is no longer gaseous and can
no longer be used as fuel for the FireSales Vesta!
Getting starting
1. ALWAYS carry out the following check before you use the FireSales Vesta. If you notice a
deviation during the check, do not use the FireSales Vesta.

Take note: make sure the charger is set to 12 Volt.
Connect the charger to the FireSales Vesta. Always do this in a well-ventilated area. When
the green light on the charger is on, the battery is charging. As soon as the battery is full
(this takes about 6 hours), the green lamp goes off and the charger no longer generates
a charge. If the red lamp is on, the battery is not charging. In that case, please
contact FireWare.
ALWAYS check the gas hose and the power cable before you use the FireSales Vesta.
2. Before using the FireSales Vesta, make sure it is fully charged.
3. Place the FireSales Vesta in a safe location and connect the remote control. The plug ts on
the connection of the re extinguisher trainer in only one way. Then switch the plug on.
4. Place the gas cylinder in a safe location at a distance of at least 5 meters from the re
extinguisher trainer. Connect the hose to the FireSales Vesta rst, it is a click system. Then
connect the other end with the twist-on connector to the gas cylinder.
There is a pressure regulator valve mounted between the gas cylinder and the gas hose.
This regulator valve has a range of up to 4 bars and is suitable for an output of 12 kg/hour.
Take note: First turn the regulator valve completely back to 0 bars (clockwise) before you
open the gas tap. Open the gas cylinder slowly. If you hear a hissing sound, close the tap
and check the connections once again. If you cannot nd the cause, contact FireWare.
5. Open the gas cylinder completely and open the regulator valve to 1 bar. Check the
connectors again for gas leaks using leak-check spray. By turning the regulator valve
(counter clockwise), you can adjust the ame height. Low pressure (0.5 to 1 bar)
gives a small ame and if you open the regulator valve completely (4 bars) you will achieve
the biggest ame.
Take note: With ignition, open the regulator valve to maximum 2 bars. Once the FireSales
Vesta is burning, you can open the regulator valve further to 4 bars. If the pressure is set to
high, you can reduce it during ignition. This could happen for instance when you do multiple
exercises shortly after one another.
