FireWare Mini-Silkame
Volg bij het gebruik nauwkeurig de instructies en richtlijnen, zoals omschreven zijn
in deze handleiding. Wijzig nooit de volgorde van de te verrichten handelingen. Indien
één of ander niet duidelijk is omtrent het gebruik, neem dan contact op met FireWare.
Het apparaat dient enkel gebruikt te worden door volwassen personen die op de hoogte
zijn van hetgeen in deze gebruikershandleiding staat. De FireWare Mini-Silkame mag
alleen door deskundigen in een professionele oefensituatie worden toegepast.
Het is een oefenapparaat. Gebruik dit apparaat alleen waar het voor bedoeld is.
Dit elektrische apparaat is bestemd voor toepassing BINNENSHUIS.
Gebruik het apparaat alleen in stopcontacten voorzien van een randaarde, maximaal
220-240 Volt.
De locatie van het apparaat moet:
• droog zijn.
• tussen de 5 °C en 40 °C zijn.
• een luchtvochtigheid van minder dan 80% hebben.
• vrij van explosieve gassen zijn.
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat en de snoeren op een veilige locatie geplaatst worden,
zodat er geen personen over kunnen uitglijden, struikelen of vallen. Tape de snoeren zo
nodig vast aan de vloer.
Laat de voedingskabel nooit in contact komen met andere kabels. Wees altijd voorzichtig
met de voedingskabel en alle verbindingen.
Verwijder nooit een informatief of waarschuwingslabel van het apparaat.
Maak het apparaat NOOIT open. Dit kan elektrische schokken geven en hiermee
vervalt iedere vorm van garantie.

De FireWare Mini-Silkame is speciaal ontworpen om snel een vlam te simuleren. Het apparaat is
gemaakt voor opleidingsdoeleinden en dient dan ook als zodanig te worden gebruikt.
Voor de ingebruikname dient u deze handleiding grondig door te nemen,
zodat u geheel op de hoogte bent van het gebruik, de werking en de
kenmerken van de FireWare Mini-Silkame.

Wanneer service of reparatie noodzakelijk is, mag dit product UITSLUITEND door een
technicus van FireWare geopend worden; dit om de kans op het krijgen van een
elektrische schok te voorkomen. Als er een probleem optreedt, koppel het product dan
los van het lichtnet en neem contact op met FireWare.
De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade of letsel veroorzaakt
door het niet (strikt) naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en -instructies in deze
handleiding, danwel door onachtzaamheid tijdens gebruik van het in dit document
vermelde product en de eventueel bijbehorende accessoires.
Sluit dit apparaat niet aan op een dimmer.
Schud het apparaat niet. Gebruik geen brute kracht, wanneer u het apparaat installeert of
bedient en zet het apparaat niet snel achter elkaar herhaaldelijk aan en uit, dit beperkt de
levensduur van het apparaat.
Kijk NOOIT direct in het licht, dit kan oogletsel veroorzaken.
Zorg dat de ventilatiekanalen altijd vrij zijn.
Gebruik de FireWare Mini-Silkame nooit als deze beschadigd is. Indien
onderdelen beschadigd zijn dienen ze vervangen te worden door personeel van FireWare.
Houd brandbare materialen of oppervlakken op een afstand van minimaal 0,5 meter.
Haal het apparaat altijd van de stroom af, wanneer het niet in gebruik is of voordat u het
schoonmaakt. Pak de voedingskabel alleen vast bij de stekker. Trek de stekker er nooit uit
aan de kabel.
Zorg ervoor dat de voedingskabel niet geplooid zit of beschadigd raakt. Controleer het
apparaat en de voedingskabel eens in de zoveel tijd.
Als het apparaat is gevallen of er wordt hard tegenaan gestoten, haal dan meteen de
stroom eraf. Laat het apparaat controleren op veiligheid door een gekwaliceerd ingenieur,
voordat u er weer mee aan de slag gaat.
Als het apparaat is blootgesteld aan drastische temperatuursschommelingen (bijvoorbeeld
na transport), zet het dan niet direct aan. Er kan condens ontstaan zijn en dat zou uw
apparaat kunnen beschadigen. Laadt het apparaat uit, totdat het op kamertemperatuur is
gekomen.

Let op: sluit de stroom niet aan, voordat het hele systeem opgezet is en goed is
aangesloten.
1. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
2. Plaats de machine op een vlakke ondergrond.
3. De silkame(doek) dient bevestigd te worden aan de opstaande randen midden boven de
verlichting.
4. De stekker van de Mini-Silkame kan in een standaard (230 Volt) stopcontact of
verlengblok worden gestoken.
5. Zet vervolgens het apparaat aan met de ON/OFF knop

Als het apparaat in gebruik is, kunt u ten allen tijde de vlammen uitzetten door de
ON/OFF schakelaar op het apparaat uit te zetten.
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en vouw het doek bovenop de behuizing. Indien het doek vochtig
is van de rookvloeistof, eerst uitspoelen en laten drogen.

Gebruik 12 V 20 Watt lampen.
Plaats het rooster terug en
schroef de behuizing weer dicht.
Alle lampjes branden niet. De transformator is stuk. Neem contact op met FireWare.
Overige problemen. Neem contact op met FireWare.

De FireWare Mini-Silkame vergt weinig onderhoud. U dient het apparaat echter wel schoon te
houden. Haal het apparaat van de stroom af en neem het af met een vochtige doek. Dompel het
apparaat niet in water.
Houdt de aansluitingen schoon. Zorg ervoor dat de voedingsaansluiting volledig is opgedroogd,
voordat u er iets op aansluit of de stroom weer op het apparaat zet.
De silkame is gemaakt van speciale zijde en heeft een beperkte levensduur. Na gemiddeld 240 uur
brandtijd is de silkame aan vervanging toe. Nieuwe silkames kunt u bestellen bij FireWare.
Onderhoud doek: na gebruik in combinatie met rook, kunt u de vlam uitspoelen met lauwwarm water
en eventueel met wat handwasmiddel.
Elektrische apparaten, accessoires en verpakkingen dienen apart te worden ingezameld, gerecycled of
op een voor het milieu verantwoorde manier te worden afgevoerd.

Op de FireWare Mini-Silkame zit twee jaar garantie na aankoopdatum op product- en fabricage-
fouten. Schade door onzorgvuldig handelen wordt niet vergoed. Reparatie vereist deskundigheid. Het
is dan ook zeker aan te bevelen het apparaat bij defecten naar FireWare terug te sturen. De garantie
vervalt indien blijkt dat het apparaat door uzelf of derden geopend is of als u zelf of derden
modicaties of aanpassingen van welke aard dan ook hebben aangebracht zonder uitdrukkelijke
toestemming van de leverancier.

When using this appliance closely follow the instructions and guidelines, as described in
this manual. Never change the order of the acts to be performed. In case anything
concerning the use is not clear please contact FireWare.
Only adults who are informed about the content of this user manual should use this
appliance. May only be used by experts in a professional exercise situation.
This is a practice appliance. Use this appliance only what it is designed for.
This electrical appliance is designed to be used INDOORS.
Only use the appliance in plugs with an earth connection, maximum 220-240 Volt.
The location of the appliance needs to be:
• dry.
• between 5 °C and 40 °C.
• have a humidity of less than 80%.
• free of explosive gasses.
Make sure that the appliance and the wires can be placed in a safe location so that no
one can slip, trip or fall over it. Tape the wires to the oor if necessary.
Never let the power-cord come into contact with other cables. Handle the power-cord and
all connections with the mains with particular caution.
Never remove warning or informative labels from the unit.
NEVER open the appliance. This can cause electric shocks and will cancel any kind of
warranty.

In the event service or repair is required this product can ONLY be opened by a
FireWare technician; this is to prevent the risk of getting an electric shock. If a
problem occurs, disconnect the product from the mains voltage and contact FireWare.
The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for damage caused by not
(strictly) observing the safety measures and instructions in this manual or for
carelessness during the use of the product listed in this document and possible
matching accessories.
Do not connect this device to a dimmer pack.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device and do
not switch the device on and o in short intervals, as this will reduce the system’s life.
NEVER look directly into the light. This can cause damage to the eye.
Make sure the ventilation channels are always unobstructed.
Never use the FireWare Mini-Silkame if it is damaged. In case
parts are damaged FireWare sta needs to replace them.
Keep ammable materials or surfaces at a minimum distance of 0,50 meter.
Always disconnect power from the mains, when the device is not used or before cleaning.
Only handle the power-cord by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power-cord.
Make sure that the power-cord is never crimped or damaged. Check the device and power-
cord from time to time.
If the device is dropped or struck, disconnect mains power supply immediately. Have a
qualied engineer inspect for safety before operating.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature uctuation (for example after
transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might
damage your device. Leave the device switched o until it has reached room temperature.

Remove all the packaging material of the FireWare Mini-Silkame. Connect all the cables.
Please note: do not connect the power before the entire system has been set up and
properly connected.
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Place the machine on a level base.
3. The silk ame (cloth) must be secured to the raised edge in the centre above the lighting.
4. The FireWare Mini-Silkame plug can be inserted into a standard, grounded 230 Volt
socket or extension lead.
5. You can subsequently switch the machine on with the ON/OFF button.

When the appliance is in use you can turn o the ames at any time by turning the ON/OFF switch
on the appliance o.
Remove the plug from the socket. Fold the cloth on top of the housing.
If the cloth is damp as a result of the smoke liquid, it will rst need to be rinsed and dried.

The FireWare Mini-Silkame requires little maintenance. However, you do need to keep the machine
clean. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and clean it with a moist cloth. Do not plunge
the appliance in the water.
Keep the connections clean. First, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and clean the audio
connections with a moist cloth. Ensure that the connections are completely dry before you connect
anything of before you reconnect it to the power supply.
The silkame is made from special silk and has a limited lifespan. After approximately 240 hours
burning time the silkame requires replacement. You can order new silkames with FireWare.
Maintenance cloth: after use in combination with smoke you can rinse the ame with lukewarm water
and possibly some hand-wash detergent. If the fabric is very wrinkled you can iron the silkame. Do
not use a steam iron for this.
Electric appliances, accessories and packaging need to be collected and recycled separately or dis-
posed o in an environmentally responsible manner.

The FireWare Mini-Silkame has a two-year warranty against product and manufacturing faults.
Damage as a result of careless acting is not refunded. Repairs require expertise. It is therefore highly
recommended to return the appliance to us in the event of a defect. The warranty is cancelled if
it becomes apparent that you or a third party opened the appliance or if you or a third party have
applied modications or adjustments of any kind without the explicit permission from the supplier.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in Steckdosen mit Schutzerdung.

Die FireWare Mini-Silkame wurde speziell mit dem Ziel hergestellt, schnell eine Flamme zu
simulieren. Das Gerät wurde für Trainings hergestellt und soll auch nur dafür verwendet werden.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme müssen Sie diese Anleitung gründlich
durchnehmen, so dass Sie genau über Verwendung, Funktions
weise und Kennzeichen des FireWare Mini-Silkame informiert sind.

Sind Wartung oder Reparatur nötig, dann darf dieses Gerät AUSSCHLIESSLICH von
einem Techniker von FireWare geönet werden; dies zur Vermeidung des Risikos,
einen Elektroschock zu erleiden. Tritt ein Problem auf, dann nehmen Sie das Produkt
vom Lichtnetz und kontaktieren Sie FireWare.
Der Hersteller ist niemals verantwortlich für Schäden oder Verletzungen, deren Ursache
darin liegt, dass die Sicherheitsvorschriften und -anweisungen in dieser Anleitung nicht
(genau) befolgt werden, oder die aufgrund von Unachtsamkeit beim Gebrauch des in
diesem Dokument angegebenen Produkts sowie des eventuellen Zubehörs zu diesem
entstehen.
Schließen Sie dieses Gerät nicht an ein Dimmerpack an.
Schütteln Sie das Gerät nicht durcheinander. Benutzen Sie bei der Installation oder dem

Trennen Sie das Gerät immer vom Netz, wenn es gereinigt oder nicht benutzt wird. Ziehen
Sie das Netzkabel nur am Stecker heraus, niemals am Netzkabel selbst.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel niemals gequetscht oder beschädigt wird. Überprüfen
Sie von Zeit zu Zeit das Gerät und das Netzkabel.
Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort von der Netzspannung, wenn es fällt oder angeschlagen wird.
Lassen Sie die Sicherheit des Gerätes vor Wiederbenutzung von einem Fachingenieur
überprüfen.
Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht unmittelbar wieder ein, nachdem es drastischen
Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt worden ist (z.B. nach Transport). Sonst könnte das
dabei entstehende Kondenswasser Schäden am Gerät verursachen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
zuerst auf Zimmertemperatur kommen, bis Sie es wieder einschalten.

Entfernen Sie das gesamte Verpackungsmaterial der FireWare Mini-Silkame. Schließen Sie jetzt alle
Kabel an.
Achtung: Schließen Sie das Gerät erst dann ans Netz an, wenn Sie das ganze System auf
gebaut und alle internen Verbindungen hergestellt haben.
1. Entfernen Sie das gesamte Verpackungsmaterial.
2 Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen achen Untergrund.
3. Die Silkame (Tuch) muss am senkrechten Rand in der Mitte über der Beleuchtung befestigt
werden
4. Sie können den Stecker der FireWare Mini-Silkame in eine geerdete Standardsteckdose
oder in eine Steckdosenleiste mit 230 Volt stecken.
5. Schalten Sie dann das Gerät über den ON-/OFF-Schalter ein.
4. Inbetriebnahme
Ist das Gerät in Betrieb, dann können Sie die Flammen jederzeit ausstellen, indem Sie den
ON/OFF-Schalter am Gerät ausstellen.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und trennen Sie das Stromkabel von der Maschine.
Legen Sie das Stromkabel auf die Maschine. Legen Sie das zusammengefaltete Tuch auf das Gehäuse.
Ist das Tuch von der Rauchüssigkeit feucht geworden, spülen Sie es erst aus und lassen Sie es dann
trocknen.
