The FirstCare CPR Mask is designed for mouth-to-mask ventilation of
a non-breathing adult, child or infant.
This pocket mask features a one-way filter valve which provide
protected rescue breathing for both patients and rescuers. This latex-
free PVC resuscitation mask can be used for both adults, children and
infants and is stored in a robust and snap-to-open clam-shell plastic
hard case with two alcohol prep pads, a pair of gloves and a detailed
instruction booklet.

Put on the protective gloves.
Unfold mask and check that
filter is firmly in place.
Use the rim of the mask to
retract the lower lip so the
patient’s mouth remains
open under the mask. Use
thumbs to hold the mask and
your fingers to grasp the lower
jaw. Position end (nose) over
the patient’s nose.
With face mask sealed as
described above, blow slowly
into Non-Rebreathing Valve.
Allow patient to exhale. Repeat
as CPR guidelines.

the patient’s chin.
Other ventilation equipment, e.g. a bag-valve resuscitator or
oxygen powered resuscitator, may be coupled to the 15 mm
connection port (without the One-way Valve) of the Pocket
Mask.
At lower temperatures the Pocket Mask can be harder to unfold.
Use with oxygen: The mask may be used with supplemental
oxygen. Attach the oxygen tubing to the optional oxygen inlet
and set the flow rate. If the patient is spontaneously breathing,
use the head strap to position the Mask on the patient’s face.
If the patient is NOT breathing, begin mouth to mask ventilation
immediately.
Always keep mask in storage case when not in use.

The mask should only be used by persons who have received
adequate training.
This equipment is manufactured from the finest quality materials.
Each individual part is subject to strict quality control tests to ensure
exceptionally high standards.
The manufacturer warrants to the purchaser of FirstCare CPR
mask that its component parts are free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
The manufacturer will replace and/or repair all parts of the mask
at its option for one year from the date of purchase at no cost to
the purchaser, upon the notification of the defects, in writing by the
purchaser. All shipping costs shall be borne by the purchaser.
The manufacturer shall be liable under this warranty only if the mask
and its parts have been used in the normal manner described in the
instruction manual.
If contaminated, remove mask and clear patient’s airway.
Clear mask by shaking or sweeping out foreign material. Blow
through valve to verify operation. Reapply mask and continue
ventilation.
If the product becomes too contaminated or difficult to clear,
continue with ventilation.
The mask should not be used with supplemental oxygen where
smoking is permitted or when fire, flame, oil or grease is in close
proximity.
CPR mask should not be used in toxic or hazardous
atmospheres.
Use of non-FirstCare parts may affect safety and/or
performance.
FirstCare is not responsible for any consequences of re-use of
the disposable CPR mask.
