STEP # 1 Base Rail Assembly
1. Attach the left and right base rails (1 & 3) to the loot plate (5) using two backing
plates (40). lour bolts
(36), eight washers (18) and four nuts (20). HAND TlGHTEN the
bolts

Unwrap the pre~tnstalled left pec deck cable (M) from
the
pulley
(P2) located
on the pee deck
support
post (‘2) and men the cable front loose end
(44E) through the left pulley
sacket (Pl) located on the
pee deck backing plate (55) and then attach
the cable lront loose end (446) to the left pec deck
amushng plate (39) usmg a shoulder bolt (70) as shown Ttghten
the bolt securely
lnsen the rear end of the left pec deck cable (44) through
the pre-tnstalled double pulley assembly
(8983 and place the cable onto the
lower pulley ol the double pulley assembly (898) and attach
the
rear end 01 the left pec deck cable (44) to the
cable ltnlu'ng plate (72) located on the pec
deck tree
pulley assembly (75) usmg a belt (74). two washers (18) and a nut (20). Ttghten the bolt securely
NOTE: Be sure that the loft pee deck cable (44) ls ln the groove of each
Pulley and that
the
Cable
and Pulleys
move smoothly.
