Part 1: Determine Mounting Position
What Installer Need to Bring
1) Screw drivers and drill
2) Ladder: depends on the ceiling height
4) 20-24 SWG / AWG wires (Wired version only)
5) Wire crimp tool (Wired version only)

IMPORTANT
!
The Space Sense should be installed in the center of coverage area. Please ensure it is
not blocked by any drop down obstacle (e.g. decorations, exit signage, bulk head, wall,
etc.). Otherwise, it may affect the accuracy of the result due to the limited tracking zone.
The Space Sense should be installed within 30m of the master device that is online.
3) Microfibre cloth: cleanup sensor glass

6) 12V DC Adapter (Optional, wired version only)
Detach the mounting bracket and screw in
perpendicularly to the wall and slot the
mounting bracket back to the case.
Apply the double sided tape flat to the back of
the mounting bracket and directly stick on
either the ceiling or desk surface.

Part 3: Wiring Setup Installation
LED LIGHT INDICATIONS
No Light
Slow blinking

Device is not powered up
Check if the power cable is connected to the terminal
Attempting to pair / Searching for counter
Place the counter and device in close proximity. Ensure the counter is
turned on.
Pairing successful
Everything OK
iNote: For battery version, the led light will be off (no light) after pairing to reduce battery
usage. You may monitor the device status in FootfallCam Analytic Manager.
1. Detach the mounting bracket from the
case.
2. Insert the two given batteries into the
battery slot.
3. Slot the mounting bracket back to the
case and secure it on the mounting
location.

1. Connect the wire cable according to the
positive (+) and negative (-) polarity.
2. Secure it on the mounting location.

Binding Guide
Each Space Sense needs to bind with a master device. Open
the Sensor Nodes Pairing with the IP Address. Please get
from FootfallCam support personnel.
