Lay the parts on a at surface to help with accuracy. Place 2 posts onto the matching half lap joint as shown above. Ensure all of
the faces are ush and screw into place with 60mm screws. Repeat this process with the other 2 posts.
Place a fascia board onto the 70 x 70mm frame. Ensure the one end is ush with the side of the 70 x 70mm post. This will result
in the opposite end protruding out. Before screwing, ensure the fascia board is overhanging the top of the frame by 45mm. Then
screw into place. Repeat the process for the other set of posts and frame.

Stand all of the posts up with the fascia boards facing outwards. Screw the other 2 fascia boards onto the fascia boards already
secured. This will create a completed square shape. Ensure all fascia boards are ush at each corner and at matching heights.
Screw at the meeting faces.

Screw the central boards to the fascia boards. Ensure each one is 885mm from the inner face of the fascia board shown above.
As a result, there will be an 80mm space between the central boards. Ensure the top edge is ush to the top edge of the fascia
boards.

Attach the additional batten to the central board (one for each board). Ensure the bottom face of the batten is ush to the
bottom face of the central boards. Secure with 4 x screws at each side shown above. Place and screw through the panel frame
and into the fascia to secure. Repeat for both panels.

STABILITY
We strongly advise that you anchor your pergola down with either xture examples shown below to enhance stability. You will need to
purchase these separately. Apply each xture to each leg after fully constructing your pergola. These are just two examples of many, that you
could use to anchor your pergola.
FOR PATIO/DECKING (HARD SURFACES)
Screw a ‘heavy duty’ bracket to each post and to
the oor to secure.
FOR GRASS/SOIL (SOFT SURFACES)
Screw the a ‘heavy duty’ bracket to each post and
use a ‘hex peg’ or similar type of xing to anchor
the bracket into the ground.

Active Ingredients - Propiconazole, Tebuconazole, IPBC, Permethrine, Benzyl-C12-16-Alkyldimethyl Chlorides. (Dip Treated)
Basic Copper Carbonate, DDA Carbonate, DDA Chloride. (Pressure Treated)
Wear gloves when handling. Avoid inhalation of sawdust. Do not use in contact with drinking water or food. Do not use for animal
bedding or in sh ponds. Dispose of treated wood responsibly.
The components provided may be heavy. Please lift with caution and with a minimum of 2 people.

from any potential health and safety risks. Do not exempt yourself from wearing PPE.
