Unpacking and Installation
What’s in the box:
1. LED driver / power supply.
2. 6 LED bars (fragile handle with care).
3. 2 Light frame support ends.
4. T shaped diver frame bracket.
5. Power cord (pre wired for 110V power).
6. Light-to-light 0-10V dimming daisy chain cable (external dimming controller optional and
not included).
7. 2 hanging cables with clips.

5
Assembly
For best results assemble your new LED on a clean table free of debris. The light will initially be
assembled with the diodes facing up.
1. Assemble the frame ends to T shaped driver assembly.
Begin with the light frame
facing up. Note that when
assembly is finished the driver
will sit on top of this frame.
Locate the push tab
to depress the marble
connector into the
frame

2.Insert the light bars facing up. Locate the protruding hook on each bar (opposite the plug in
end) and insert into opening in frame plate, then insert the other side into frame socket as
shown.
Assemble all bars facing up. Insert the
end of the light bar with hook first
into the opening in the frame. Handle
with care. Do not allow sharp objects
to touch the diodes or surface of the
bars.
Align the end of the light bar with frame
end then snap the light bar into the base
to let the base buckle fasten the light to
the frame. Check to ensure you hear the
click and the bar is securely fastened.

7
3. Complete assembly by attaching all six light bars, the finished unit will look like this. Gently
turn the light over so the diodes are facing down.
4. Attach driver frame. Gently place driver on the top of the driver tray. Locate the two thumb
screws and which align with holes in frame. Lift the light slightly, insert screws and tighten by
hand. Do not overtighten the screws. Do not use tools.
5. Hanging diagram. Your new UP Flex 600 will look as follows. Use the two provided cables
with snap on clips to allow a 2 point hanging connection. Use an attachment suspension to
ceiling or support suitable to hold the weight of the lamp.
Once completed, gently turn the
light over so the bars are facing
down. Take care to protect the
diodes.

6. Light-to-light control cable connection.
The Uniformity Pro Flex 600 has built in sockets to allow for connection to an external dimming
controller. Locate these sockets on the light frame labeled “Signal In” and “Signal Out”.
The Signal In socket connects to an external controller. FGI provides a variety of external
dimming and on/off controllers. We also offer custom cabling for non FGI brand controllers.
These can be ordered separately.
The Signal Out socket allows for one or more Uniformity Pro Flex LEDs to connect to one
another using the included cable. Please note that this daisy chain cable system is low voltage
only. You cannot daisy chain the line voltage connections between two or more lights. Each
light must be individually connected to an outlet or junction box which meets standard
US/CA/GB/EU electrical code.
Controller Use
Your Uniformity Pro Flex has been desiged to allow connection to 0-10V dimming controllers.
Each Uniformity Pro comes with an included push button dimming controller which also
incorporates a temperature probe. Use the provided 0-10V dimming cable which has a USB
style plug on one end and a grey twist connector on the other to attach the controller to the Sig
In (dimming input) connection on the light frame. Connect the temperature probe to the
controller. The unit is self powered. It does not need to be plugged in to power.
The Controller has 6 pre-set settings. Off, 25,50,75, 100% and Wifi. Settings between 0-100%
control the light output intensity. The Wifi setting is for internet connectivity to an app based
wireless control system.
Electrical Connection
Your UP Flex 600 comes provided with a US 110V wall plug. The light however can be connected
to a range of power input voltage from 110V to 277V. If a 220V or 277V connection is desired
the 110V plug can be removed by a qualified electrician and alternative accessory plugs can be
used. The unit can also be hard-wired to a junction box.
Caution: Do not daisy chain the power supply wiring to multiple LEDs. This unit is designed to
connect directy to a dedicated electrical connection.

Precautions
Before using your new FGI Grow Light, please read this manual thoroughly to ensure that you know how
to operate the features and functions that your new lamp offers safely and efficiently.
This light is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities, or those who lack experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the lamp by a person responsible for their safety.
If you have any question, contact us at 1-800-630-7345 or find help and information online at

•Do not install light in a wet location or place where it may come in direct contact with water.
•Deteriorated insulation on electrical parts may cause an electric shock or fire.
•Do not place this light in direct heat from room heaters.
•Do not plug several lights into the same multiple power strip. The light should always be plugged into its
own individual electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the voltage listed on the electrical
rating. This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading of house wiring circuits, which
could cause a fire hazard from overheated wires.
•Do not use a power cord that has cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at either end.
•Do not bend the power cord excessively or place heavy objects on it.
•Do not twist or tie the power cord.
•Never unplug your light by pulling on the power cord.
•The light must be safely grounded. Always make sure that you have grounded the light before attempting
to investigate or repair any part of the unit.
•Power leakages can cause severe electric shock.
•Never use gas pipes, telephone lines, or other potential lightning attractors as an electrical ground.
•Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
•If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-blade grounding
plug and
•The marked rating of the extension cord should be AC 115-120 V, 10 A, or more.
•If a grounding adapter is used, make sure the receptacle box is fully grounded.
•Plug the power plug into the wall socket firmly. Do not use a damaged power plug, damaged power cord,
or loose wall socket. This may result in an electric shock or fire.
•You need to remove all the protective plastic film before you initially plug the product in.
•Do not spray the light with chemicals. Clean the light with a damp cloth using water only.
•Before cleaning or performing maintenance, unplug the light from the wall socket, or turn off at the breaker.
•The diodes in your new Uniformity Pro are conformal coated which is a thin membrane applied over the
diodes and printed circuit boards. This coating should be protected. Do not apply chemical cleaners or
abrasives. Unprotected diodes are more likely to fail. Do not expose the light to volatile organic compounds
(VOCs). Any of which void the warranty.
