Operations
1. Preparation
Dry the Surface of the protective sticker and clean the measuring surface or origin-set
faces.
Loosen the locking screw and move the slider to check if the LCD display and all buttons
work properly.
2. Measurement and Reading
Press ON/OFF button to turn on the power
Press mm/inch button to select the desired unit system.
Move the slider to make two outside measuring faces or origin-set faces contact and
ZERO by pressing ZERO button
Then normal measurement can be taken
a) When using an outside groove digital caliper or cylinder outside groove digital
caliper to measure a work piece (the diameter of an outside groove), the dimension
of the work piece is shown on the LCD display screen of the caliper.
b) When using an inside groove digital caliper or cylinder inside groove digital caliper to
measure a work piece (the diameter of an outside groove), the dimension of the
work piece is the sum of the value shown on the LCD display screen and the width of
two fully contact measuring jaws. (The minimum diameter of a hole of a work piece
should be over A).
c) When using a knifepoint inside groove caliper to measure a work piece (the diameter
of an outside groove and the one of an inner hole), the dimension of the work piece
is shown on the LCD display screen of the caliper. (The minimum diameter of a hole
of a work piece should be over A).
d) When using a hook type digital caliper to measure the groove width of a work piece,
the diameter of the work piece is shown on the LCD display screen of the caliper.
(The minimum diameter of a hole of a work piece should be over A).
Battery Replacement
Abnormal display (digits flashing or even no display shows a flat battery and should be
replaced Take off the cover in the direction shown by the arrow and replace the battery
with a new one. If the battery bought from market does not work satisfactorily, (The
power may wear down because of the long-term storage or the battery’s automatic
discharge etc.), please do not hesitate to contact the supplier.

NOTE:
1. The Positive pole of the battery must face out.
2. Please preset the starting point of measurement again after the battery
replacement.

Take out the battery and out it back after one Minuit
Do not disassemble , short –circuit , charge , or heat th
battery. Otherwise it will cause battery explosion and bring
harm. If a battery is swallowed , immediately consult a doctor.
The outside and inside measuring jaws of this caliper have a
sharp edge ,handle it with great care to avoid injury.
IMPORTANT
Before using this caliper for the first time, wipe the rust preventive oil from the caliper
with a soft cloth.
Never apply voltage (e. g. engraving with an electric engraver) on any part of the caliper
for fear of damaging the circuit.
After use, take corrosion prevention measures. Corrosion will cause the trouble.
