1. Inventory Items
The following is in the box. If anything is missing, please contact us before you begin.
You’ll also need the following.
•Tape to hold the
parts temporarily.
•Power drill
•Ratchet, 7/16” socket
and a 3” extension
•Jack and stands
•Countersink or large
drill bit
•Hammer
2. Raise car
Lift the car and safely place on jack stands or a lift. Never work under the car supported only
by a jack. Make sure you place your stands away from the frame rails where the rails attach.
3. Install rear rails.
Each rail is marked for location and orientation to make it easy to mount. The rear rails mount
directly to the frame. Simply tape in in place, drill the pilot holes using the included drill bit
and attach each part to the car using the included screws.
4. Place front and side rails
Temporarily attach each rail with tape, start at the front of the car and work your way back.
Once placed, decide where you are going to put your screws. There are enough screws for 3-4
per rail. There are extra holes in the rails so you should be able to avoid almost all your rivets.
You’ll want to note any rivets that need to be drilled out as well.
Once marked, drill a pilot hole, and attach one of the center screws in each rail. Then, hit
each rail several times along its length to transfer marks for each rivet to the plastic.
5. Drill rails
Remove the rails from the car and using a countersink tool or a large drill bit, drill a
countersink at each rivet location large enough to clear the rivet head.
6. Install front and side rails.
Place the parts back up on the car and install with the screw used previously. Drill the
remaining 2-3 holes per rail and secure each rail to the car.
7. Enjoy!
