Interface for online firmware programming
on PC computer for Fortin compatible module
Do not connect the Flash Link Updater to your computer until the software has
been installed first.
If a previous version of the program has been installed it must be uninstalled
before installing a new version.
A Microsoft Windows administrator account is required to install or update the
Flash Link Manager software package.

1 Open http://fortin.ca/en/support/ashlinkmanager.html
with your Internet browser.
Read the EULA.
Click “I Agree with the end-user license agreement”
and click “DOWNLOAD NOW”.
2After clicking “I Agree” the download will begin.
Choose a location on your computer to save the le.
Once the download is complete double-click the
download to begin the installation Setup Wizard.
3The Installation Setup Wizard will load.
Click “Next”
4 Read the License Agreement.
Check “I accept the terms
in the Licence Agreement”.
Click “Next”
5Check “Start Menu and Desktop
Shortcuts” to add a shortcut in the
Start Menu and on the Desktop.
Click “Next”
6Choose a location on the
computer to install the program.
or
Click “Install” to install the
program in the default location :
C:\Program Files\Flash Link Updater\
7 Wait until the Installation
Wizard has completed installing
the program les.
Click “Finish”
8A Shortcut Icon was created on your Desktop.

For further information, browse the menu “Help - User guide”.

Connect the USB (rectangular plug)
in to the USB port of your computer.

FLASH LINK UPDATER CONNECTIONS
PROGRAM UPDATE
The appearance of a window “New version” during
the opening of the program means that a new version
is available to :
Click on “Download” in order to start the update of
the program.
or
“OK” in order to download the program on the next
visit. Follow the instructions 2 to 8 of this guide in
order to complete the installation.*
*Only a user with a administrator account on the computer
will be able to install and update the program.

Ne pas brancher le Flash Link Updater à l'ordinateur avant d'avoir installé la
programme.
Si le programme est déjà installé sur votre ordinateur S.V.P., désinstallez-le avant
d'installer la nouvelle version.
Un compte d'administrateur Microsoft Windows est nécessaire pour installer ou
mettre à jour le logiciel Flash Link Manager.

1 Ouvrez votre navigateur Internet et visitez le
http://fortin.ca/en/support/ashlinkmanager.html
Lisez les Conditions et Licence d'Utilisation (EULA).
Cliquez «J'accepte les termes et conditions de
la license d'utilisation» et cliquez «TÉLÉCHARGER».
2Après avoir cliqué sur «J'accepte» le téléchargement commencera.
Choisissez un endroit dans votre ordinateur pour sauvegarder le chier.
Une fois le téléchargement complété, double cliquez
sur le téléchargement pour commencer l'installation.
3Lorsque l'assistant du programme d'installation démarre...
Cliquez «Suivant»
4 Lire les conditions d'utilisation (EULA).
Lorsque vous avez lu et compris
les conditions d'utilisation (EULA),
Cliquez «J'accepte».
Cliquez «Suivant»
5Sélectionnez «Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts»
pour ajouter un raccourci dans le menu démarrage
et sur le bureau.
Cliquez «Suivant»
6Choisissez l'emplacement pour
l'installation des chiers du logiciel.
ou
Cliquez «Installer» pour démarrer
l'installation dans l'emplacement
par défaut :
C:\Program Files\Flash Link Updater\
7 Attendez que l'assistant du
programme d'installation complète
l'installation du programme.
Cliquez «Fermer»
8Une icône de raccourci est créée sur le bureau de l'ordinateur.

L'apparition de la fenêtre «Nouvelle Version»
à l'ouverture du programme signie qu'une
nouvelle version du programme est disponible
au téléchargement :
Cliquez «Télécharger» pour commencer la mise à
jour du programme.
ou
«OK» pour télécharger le programme lors d'une
prochaine visite. Suivez les instructions 2 à 8
de ce guide pour compléter l'installation*.
*Seul un utilisateur doté d'un compte administrateur de
l'ordinateur sera en mesure d'installer et d'effectuer la
mise à jour du programme.
