harging Battery
1. Plug the USB charging cable into the headset.
2. Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into the charger with a USB port, or into
your PC.
3. The red indicator on the headset will light up.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator will turn off and the blue indicator
will turn on.
The charging process takes approximately 2 hours.
When Battery Is Low
The red indicator light will flash when the battery is low. At the same
time, you will hear a voice prompt indicating that the battery is low.
At this time, the headset should be charged.
The battery meter will also be displayed on iPhones and other iOS
devices, as seen to the right.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•For the first time usage, please charge the headset fully before use.
•You must recharge the headset if it has not been used for more than 12 months.
•Make sure that the headset is fully charged for at least 4 hours before initial use.
Usage
Multifunction Button
Pairing, Answer / End / Reject / Transfer Calls, Voicing Dialling, Redial, Play/Pause Music
Turning Headset ON/OFF
To turn the headset on, slide the ON/OFF switch down. The blue LED light will flash with a voice
prompt. The headset is now turned on.
To turn the headset off, slide the ON/OFF switch up. The red LED light will flash with a voice
prompt. The headset is not turned off.

Pairing the Headset
You are required to pair the headset with your mobile phone once before using it.
1. Turn on the headset. The red and blue LED lights will flash alternately after about 6
seconds, signifying that the unit has gone into pairing mode if there is no other
previously paired/connected devices within range.
2. Activate Bluetooth mode on your mobile phone.
3. Set your phone to discover to find "Fortis Sportsbuds", and follow the instructions.
4. If your phone asks for a passkey or PIN code, confirm with "0000" (4 zeroes).
5. When the phone and headset are paired and connected, you will hear a voice prompt.
Notes:
•If the headset is not in pairing mode, your mobile phone will not find the headset. Please
set the headset into pairing mode before making your mobile phone search for Bluetooth
connections. You can manually turn the headset into pairing mode by pressing and
holding the MF button for 2 seconds when the heaset is on.
•If no pairing is possible for a period of time (approximately 2 minutes), the headset will
automatically leaving pairing mode and go into idle mode. The blue indicator will turn to
red and will flash.
Pairing the Headset with a Second Mobile Phone
The headset supports Multipoint Technology, which means that it can be paired and connected
to two Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones for use at the same time.
1. Pair and connect your headset to your first mobile phone (see "Pairing the Headset").
2. Turn off the headset.
3. Turn off the bluetooth function on the first mobile phone.
4. Turn the headset back on and it will go into pairing mode automatically, as long as there
are no other paired/connected devices in range.
5. Pair the second mobile phone to the headset as described previously. Turn off the
headset once the connection has been completed.
6. Turn the headset back on one Bluetooth has been re-enabled on the first mobile phone.
The headset will be automatically connected to both mobile phones.
IMPORTANT: If you need to pair the headset with only one mobile phone, turn off the Multipoint
feature. This will avoid the possible audio disruption that may occur at the beginning of music
playing. This audio disruption can last for up to 20 seconds.
Turning Multipoint Function ON
When the headset is on and not connected to any device, quickly press V+ and V- at the same
time to turn multipoint functionality on.
Turning Multipoint Function OFF
When the headset is on and not connected to any device, press and hold V+ and V- at the same
time for 3 seconds to turn multipoint functionality off.
Making alls
Once the headset is successfully paired and connected with your mobile phone, you can use it to
make and receive calls. The headset can be used with voice dialling if you mobile phone
supports this function. Please consult with your mobile phone's user manual for more
information.
•Voice Dialing
Double click the MF button, wait for the voice prompt, then say the name of the person
you wish to call.

•Using Phone Keys to all
Enter and dial the number on the mobile phone as you normally do. Once the call has
been set up, the sound will be transmitted to your headset automatically.
•Redial
Press and hold the MF button for 2 seconds to redial the last number called.
Answering / Ending / Rejecting alls
When the headset is turned on and there is an incoming call, you will hear a musical tone.
•Press the MF button once to answer the call.
•Press the MF button once to end the call.
•Press and hold the MF button for 2 seconds to reject the call.
aller ID Reading
The headset supports reading the caller's phone number when a call is incoming.
Putting all on Hold
•Press and hold the MF button for 2 seconds to put the current call on hold and accept
the incoming call from call waiting.
•Press and hold the MF button for 2 seconds to resume to the first call.
•Quickly press the MF button to end the current call, then transfer back to the other call
automatically.
Transferring alls
During both incoming calls and outgoing calls, you can quickly press the MF button twice to
transfer the call to the mobile phone. If you want to transfer the call back to the headset, quickly
press the MF button twice again. Some mobile phones may require a confirmation action.
Adjusting Volume
Volume Up: Hold down V+. You will hear a voice prompt when it reaches highest volume.
Volume Down: Hold down V-. You will hear a voice prompt when it reachest lowest volume.
Mute / Unmute
During a call, quickly press V+ and V- together at the same time to mute the call. Press both
again quickly to unmute the call.
Play / Pause Music
Quickly press the MF button to play or pause the music.
Next / Previous Song
Quickly press V+ to skip to the next song.
Quickly press V- to jump back to the previous song.
onnecting to P or PDA
If your PC or PDA is Bluetooth-enabled you can connect to the headset. Please follow your
PC/PDA user manual for connection instructions.
Language Selection
The headset comes with voice prompts in either English or Chinese. You can switch between the
two languages by pressing V- once the headset is turned on and not connected to any devices.

Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset, ensure that the headset is not connected to any devices. Then press
and hold the MF button for about 5 seconds. The blue and red LED will light up at the same time
for about 2 seconds with 2 beeps. This signals that a factory reset has been successful.
Safety Warnings
Permanent hearing loss may result from long-term exposure to sound at high volumes. Use as
low volume as possible and avoid prolonged use of the earphones at excessive sound pressure
levels. Please read the safety guidelines below prior to using the headset.
Prior to Use
1. Turn headphones on, then adjust the volume control to its lowest possible level.
2. Put headphones on, then slowly adjust the volume up to a comfortable level.
During Use
•Keep the volume at the lowest possible level.
•If increased volume is necessary, adjust the volume control upwards slowly.
•If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, immediately discontinue use. With
continued use at high volumes, your ears may become accustomed to the sound levels,
which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable
discomfort.
Safety Information
•Stay alert at all times during use! Be aware of your surroundings, especially when
crossing roads, train crossings, tram lines or other locations where your safety may be
put at risk due to not being able to hear ambient sounds.
•If you have a cardiac pacemaker or other electrical medical equipment, you should
consult with your doctor before using this product.
•This product contains small parts that may be hazardous to children. Keep out of reach
of small children.
•Never attempt to disassemble the product yourself or push other objects into the device.
This may cause a short-circuit which may lead to fire or electric shock.
•There are no user-serviceable parts in this product.
•If the product overheats, is damaged or gets dropped into liquid, discontinue use.
