SET UP
ASSEMBLY PROCESS
Step one – The folding walker
Remove from the box, remove
excess plastic and lay the walker
flat. Familiarise yourself with the
walker and parts outlined in the kit.
Step two – Opening the folding
walker frame
Undo hook and
loop from the
frame and both
wheels, remove
rear wheel folding
mechanism knobs
(the 5star knobs).
Step three –
Rotate the rear wheel arms backward
Line up the holes of the frame with
the wheel arms and re-insert the
5star knobs. Once there is a proper
alignment, firmly tighten the rear
wheel folding mechanism (the 5star
knobs). Note: These will not tighten
properly without proper alignment.
Step four – Remove front wheel
folding mechanism (5star knobs)
Rotate the front
wheel arms
forward. Insert and
tighten front wheel
folding mechanism
(5star knobs)
firmly, ensuring
proper alignment.
Step five – Pull
the two push
handles apart
Open the frame,
push down on the
side of the seats,
until the crossbar
locking mechanism
locks into place. Verify that the seat is
locked in place by pushing down on
both seat edges until you hear a click.
Step six – Check
everything
is secure
Make sure the
crossbar locking
mechanism and
rear wheel folding
mechanism (5star
knobs) are firmly
locked and in place before use.
Step seven – Set your handle height
To change the height, push the
snap lock into the different sockets,
ensuring both sides of the walker
are level. The Ideal handle height
is set when the top of the handle
aligns with the user’s wrist when
the user’s arms are by their side.
Step eight – check
your brakes
Make sure the
brakes are
working properly
before using the
folding walker. Test
the push braking
function by
squeezing the handle brakes upwards.
Test the locking brake function, by

Step nine - Attach
the removable
back strap
Slide into the
bracket, located on
the other side of the
brake handle. Use
the grey plastic stripe
(found on the back rest connector) to
indicate the bottom of the back rest.
Step ten - Attach
the shopping
satchel
Note: this item
includes a
detachable strap.
We recommend,
when not using the
satchel strap
ensure that it is safely inside the
bag. To install, place the loop on
the side of the satchel bag over
the protrusion at the front of the
chair. Repeat for the other side.
OPERATION
MOBILITY AID
When using the folding walker as a
mobility aid, it is recommended both
hands are securely on the handles, with
fingers curled around the brake levers
so that the walker can be stopped
immediately in case of emergency.
The folding walker, promotes your
natural stance. An ideal walking
technique is to push the walker forward
to a comfortable length and then step
in towards the walker, and repeat.
OPERATING THE BRAKES
To stop the folding walker, gently
squeeze the brake levers until the
walker comes to a complete stop.
PARKING & BRAKING -
LOCKING THE BRAKES
The brakes should be locked whenever
using the walker as a temporary seat,
folding or unfolding the walker, or
when leaving then walker unattended.
To lock the brakes, push down on the
brake levers until they click. Always
check the brake lock is activated
before sitting on the seat. To release,
lift the brake lever until the lock
disengages. Never release the brake
lock while sitting on the seat.
USING AS A RESTING SEAT
Before using the folding walker as a
temporary seat, ensure the folding
walker is parked on a safe, level
surface. Ensure the seat sides are also
locked. Before sitting, lock both brake
levers and ensure the lock is properly
activated or injury may result.
REMOVE THE SHOPPING SATCHEL
Remove the shopping satchel from the
protrusions, detaching the side loops.
FOLDING THE WALKER INTO
THE COMPACT POSITION
Remove the accessories and lower
down the handles if necessary. To
fold the walker, firmly pulling on
the strap located on the seat. This
will disengage the side braces and
collapse the frame. Push the frame
together for the first vertical fold.

SAFETY &
MAINTENANCE
GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
A risk assessment should always be
carried out to ensure the product
is suitable and before use, the user
should read these instructions and
familiarise themselves with the folding
walker. Ensure all components are
properly and securely installed.
Do not use the folding walker to
transport a person while seated.
Ensure the user has sufficient strength
to safely operate and control the
folding walker and hand brakes.
Before sitting on the folding walker
ensure that the brake locks are
firmly applied.
Do not release the brakes until the
user is standing.
Do not exceed the maximum
recommended working load of 136kg.
Do not hang anything from the
handles, bags and or other items.
Always make sure the folding walker
is properly balanced by checking
all wheels are in contact with the
floor at all times during use.
Avoid storing the folding walker
in direct sunlight; seat or parts
exposed to sunlight will heat up
and may cause injury to the skin.
Do not place more than 4.5kg in the
shopping satchel.
When seated, do not attempt to reach
for objects by leaning forward on the
seat or by reaching down between your
knees. Do not lean over the back rest to
reach objects behind you as this may
cause the folding walker to tip over.
Use only on designated footpaths
or walkways. And do not use
the folding walker on any steep
incline, or on a slope with water,
ice, snow or slippery covering.
Exercise caution when navigating curbs
and or obstacles as this may cause harm
or damage to the user or the walker.
Use the curb raisers to assist in lifting the
walker slightly to tackle raised surfaces.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Have a professional inspect your folding
walker yearly (as a minimum), with
any service or repairs (especially the
brakes) to be performed by a trained
professional. Any unauthorised repairs
or service may void your warranty.
Regularly check the folding walker
for damage and wear. Pay attention
to the working of the brakes and
the condition of the wheels. If the
folding walker is damaged in any
way, stop using the folding walker
immediately and contact your place
of purchase or the manufacturer.
Check the handle grips do not twist
on the handles and that the brake
levers are firm; if loose or worn they
must be replaced before use.
Page 5
Page 6
Folding Walker User Guide 080316.indd 6 8/03/2016 9:42 pm

Check the efficiency of the braking
system to ensure the rear wheels do
not move when the brakes are engaged
or locked. With brakes released, there
should be no drag on the wheels and
the folding walker should move easily
(including the tight turning circle).
If you notice anything unfamiliar
with the braking function, or any
abnormalities, stop using the folding
walker immediately. Contact your place
of purchase or the manufacturer.
Check all screws, wheel nuts (5star
knobs), snap locks and side seating
locking functionality are working
properly and firmly secured.
CLEANING
Do not use high pressure cleaners,
steam cleaners or harsh, caustic
chemicals for cleaning.
CLEANING THE FRAME
Wipe the folding walker with a
damp cloth. For more stubborn
dirt, use a mild detergent solution
up to 40ocelsius. Dry thoroughly
before use to avoid corrosion.
Clean the wheels using a damp
brush with plastic bristles (do not
use a wire brush or you may damage
the rubber or painted finishes).
CLEANING THE BAG AND THE SEAT
Regularly clean the padding materials
using a mild detergent solution up
to 40ocelsius, or wash with alcohol-
based disinfectants if necessary.
Dry thoroughly before use.
