Model
Operating your Quark Turbo QB2A is simple. Insert its batteries with the
positive side (+) toward the head. Make sure the head and tailcap are
tightened, then depress the tailcap button fully so that it ‘clicks’ and th e lig ht
turns on. You can also press the tailcap lightly (you don‘t have to ‘click’ it on)
to activate the light momentarily.

Your Quark Turbo can memorize any two modes of output, from its eight
total modes, to be instantly available. The se tw o mod es ar e acc ess ed by
either tightening or loosening the head (for example, tight can be Max, and
loose can be Low).
To have your Quark Turbo memorize a differ ent m ode , tur n it on a nd
loosen the head by a half-turn. Th en, t igh ten t he he ad at l eas t fou r tim es
rapidly (twist it tight, then loose, then tight, etc., four times). After the fourth
time, leave the head tight or loose, depending which position want to program.
After three seconds, the light will flash. It is now ready to be programmed.
Cycle through the eight available modes by clicking the tailcap off and o n.
The mode sequence is as follows:

Once you find your desired mode, leave that mode on for ten seconds, and
the light will flash again, confirming the mode has been memorized. To canc el
programming before it flashes, turn off the l igh t for t hre e sec ond s.
