Self-closing thermostatic mixer DN 15, as a wall-mounted mixer for wash facilities,
with lockable swivel spout and scald-proof Safe-Touch housing. For connecting to
hot water and cold water.
With facilities for performing manual thermal disinfection. Adjustable flow duration.

10. Assembly Instructions
Warning!
Use the fitting only with non-return valves and the grit filters specified.
Failure to observe can result in an increased bacterial load in drinking water and
cause a health risk or even risk of death.
☞Important!
Before installing, flush the pipes in compliance with DIN 1988.
☞Important!
When fitting the S-connectors, make sure that a distance of 150 mm is maintained
between the projecting S-connectors. Align the S-connections exactly horizontal.
The correct distances and the correct alignment of the S-connections must be made
at this point and must not be forced later on when installing the mixer unit.
10.1 Screw in and align the S-connections (a).
10.2 Install the screw-rosette (b).

10.3 Slide the O-ring (c) over the fixation insert (d) of the spout.
10.4 Insert the long catch (e) into the mount (f).
10.5 Slide the spout (g) on to the the fixation insert (d).
☞To be able to convert to a swivel spout later on, the short catch can be inserted into
the front groove of the mount, or it can be kept separately in a safe place.
10.6 Use to the screw (h) to fix the spout (g) in the catch (e).
10.7 Mount the fitting (see Chapter 10.12).
Preparing a swivel spout
10.8 Slide the O-ring (c) over the fixation insert (d) of the spout.
10.9 Insert the short catch (j) into the mount (f).
10.10 Slide the spout (g) on to the the fixation insert (d).
☞To be able to convert to a locked spout later on, keep the long catch in a safe place.
10.11 Use to the screw (h) to fix the spout (g) in the catch (j).
10.12 Insert the grit filters (k).
☞Important!
Be careful to insert the grit filters the right way round.
10.13 Mount the fitting (m) with the union nuts (l).
10.14 Use a hollow hexagon wrench to open the water volume regulators (n).

11. Function
Triggering water flow
11.1 Press the button.
• Water flows.
• Water flow stops automatically after a set flow duration.
☞The flow duration can be set in the range 1 – 15s.

12. Thermal Disinfection
This shower fitting provides the features necessary to perform thermal disinfection to
reduce the risk of Legionella infection.
Thermal disinfection is triggered by overturning the thermostat.
Warning!
Protective measures for persons (scald-protection) must be provided during thermal
disinfection, e.g. closing off sanitary rooms.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
The operator is responsible for performing, monitoring and logged (room, tap, date,
time, temperature, duration).
Any liability claims by third parties attributed to the operator improperly performing
thermal disinfection are therefore declined by the manufacturer.
The thermostatic fitting has been prepared for performing thermal disinfection by
overturning the thermostat. By unlocking the concealed stop on the temperature
selector lever, manual thermal disinfection can be performed on the thermostatic
fitting (flushing with a water temperature ≥70°C).
Caution!
Do not touch the housing during the thermal disinfection process.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
12.1 With the Allen key depressed, turn the temperature selector handle (a) counter-
clockwise until it reaches the stop.
12.2 When the stop is reached, pull out the Allen key and continue to turn the temper-
ature selector handle (a) over the stop.
12.3 Turn the temperature selector handle (a) counter-clockwise until it reaches the stop
(end position).
12.4 Trigger the valve.
12.5 Measure the hot water temperature.

12.6 If the hot water temperature is > 70°C, flush the valve at least 3 minutes. To this end,
trigger the fitting several times.
☞Thermal disinfection must be logged (room, tapping point, date, time, temperature,
duration).
12.7 Turn the temperature selector handle (a) clockwise until it locks.
Caution!
The temperature selector handle (a) must not be able to rotate counter-clockwise
past the stop.
12.8 Check the stop.
12.9 Open the fitting so that the remaining hot water is discharged.
12.10 Measure the water temperature. The maximum water temperature must not exceed
40°C (see Chapter 14.).
☞After thermal disinfection has been performed, it is not necessary to readjust the
scald-protector.
13. Setting the Flow Duration
13.1 Set the required mixed water temperature.
13.2 Remove the cover platelet.
13.3 Use a screwdriver to set the flow duration.
+ longer flow duration (max. 15 s)
– shorter flow duration (min. 1 s)
13.4 Trigger the valve to measure the flow duration.
13.5 Put on the cover plate after setting the required flow time.
14. Setting the Scald-protector
Warning!
If the temperature of the hot-water supply is higher than 45°C, adjust the scald-
protector.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
☞The scald-protector (hot water limit stop) is factory-set (according to DIN 1988) to
40°C. Before using, set the plant-specific parameters.
14.1 Set the temperature selector handle (c) to the maximum temperature.
14.2 Remove the cover plate (a).
14.3 Loosen the screw and the washer (b).
14.4 Pull the temperature selector handle (c) off.
14.5 Trigger the valve.
14.6 The temperature is freely adjustable:
Use the regulating nut (d) to set the maximum water temperature, e.g. to 40°C.
14.7 Push the temperature selector handle (c) on to the stop ring (e).
14.8 Use the screw and the washer (b) to fix the temperature selector handle (c) to the
fitting.
14.9 Press the cover plate (a) on to the temperature selector lever.

15. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regula-
tions applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:
• Filters (see Chapter 17.)
• Non-return valve (see Chapter 19.)
• Functional part (see Chapter 20.)
Properly use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings and rinse
with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
Removing the Fitting
Some maintenance work requires the fitting to be removed.
15.1 Use an Allen key to close the water volume regulator (see Chapter 10.14).
15.2 Trigger the fitting.
15.3 Loosen the union nut (b).
15.4 Remove the fitting.
16. Replacing the Laminar Flow Control
16.1 Use an open-end spanner to unscrew and replace the laminar flow control (a).
16.2 Replace the laminar flow control.

17. Replacing the Grit Filter
Mesh washers
17.1 Remove the fitting (see Chapter 15.).
17.2 Replace the grit filters (a).
☞Important!
Be careful to insert the grit filters the right way round.
17.3 Reassemble in the reverse order.
18. Replacing the Thermostat
Warning!
After installing the fitting or removing the thermocouple, the scald protector will need
adjusting.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
18.1 Close the flow volume regulators (see Chapter 10.14).
18.2 Trigger the fitting.
18.3 Remove the cover plate (a).
18.4 Loosen the screw and the washer (b).
18.5 Remove the temperature selection knob (c) and the stop ring (d).
18.6 Remove the screw (e).
18.7 Pull out the thermostat (f).
18.8 Reassemble in the reverse order.
18.9 Adjust the scald protector (see Chapter 14.).
19. Replacing the Non-return Valve
Warning!
All non-return valves must always be replaced as a group.
Failure to observe can result in an increased bacterial load in drinking water and
cause a health risk or even risk of death.
19.1 Remove the fitting (see Chapter 15.).
19.2 Remove the mesh washer (a).
19.3 Use an Allen key to unscrew the seating (b) completely (left-hand thread).
19.4 Replace the non-return valve (c).
Caution!
Ensure that the non-return valve is installed in the right direction.
19.5 Reassemble in the reverse order.

20. Replacing the Functional Part
20.1 Close the water volume regulator (see Chapter 10.14).
20.2 Trigger the fitting.
20.3 Remove the cover plate (a).
20.4 Use an Allen key to unscrew the screw (b) counter-clockwise.
20.5 Remove the rotary knob (c).
20.6 Use an Allen key to unscrew the screw (d) counter-clockwise.
20.7 Pull off the control unit (e).
20.8 Remove the circlip.
20.9 Pull out the functional part.
20.10 Reassemble in the reverse order.
20.11 Check the flow duration and correct if necessary (see Chapter 13.).
21. Adjusting the Key Stroke
21.1 Remove the cover plate (a).
21.2 If the key (b) has too much play, turn the screw (c) clockwise.
21.3 If water flows continuously, turn the screw (c) counter-clockwise.
21.4 Trigger the fitting.
21.5 Check the flow duration and correct if necessary (see Chapter 13.).

Batterie à thermostat à fermeture automatique AQUALINE-Therm DN 15, proposée
comme batterie murale pour des installations de lavabos équipées d'un bec de
robinetterie pivotable à enclencher et d'un boîtier safe touch, équipé d'un dispositif
anti-échaudures. Pour le raccordement à l'eau chaude et à l'eau froide.
Avec possibilité d'effectuer une désinfection thermique manuelle. Durée
d’écoulement réglable.

10. Montage
Avertissement !
Ne faire fonctionner la robinetterie qu’avec les clapets de non-retour et les filtres
prévus.
Le non-respect de cette consigne est susceptible de provoquer une contamination
accrue de l’eau potable par des germes et de représenter un risque pour la santé ou
un risque mortel.
☞Important !
Avant le montage, il convient de rincer les conduites conformément à la norme DIN
1988.
☞Important !
Lors du vissage des raccordements en S, il faut veiller à respecter l'écart de 150 mm
des raccordements en S saillants. Les raccordements en S doivent être alignés sur
une ligne parfaitement horizontale.
Les écarts corrects ainsi que la position des raccordements en S ne doivent pas être
obtenus par la force avec le corps de batterie.
10.1 Visser les raccordements en S (a) et les orienter.
10.2 Installer la rosette à vis (b).

dispositif de blocage court dans la rainure avant du support ou bien de le conserver
séparément.
10.6 Fixer le bec de la robinetterie (g) avec la vis (h) dans le dispositif de blocage (e).
10.7 Installer la robinetterie (voir chapitre 10.12).

Tenir compte de la position de montage des filtres.
10.13 Installer la robinetterie (m) avec les écrous-raccords (l).
10.14 Ouvrir les régulateurs du débit d'eau (n) avec une clé mâle coudée pour vis à six
pans creux.

11. Fonctionnement
Déclenchement de l’écoulement d’eau
11.1 Appuyer sur la touche.
• L’eau coule.
• L’écoulement d’eau s’arrête automatiquement au terme de la durée d'écoulement
paramétrée.
☞La durée d’écoulement est réglable de 1 à 15 sec.

12. Désinfection thermique
Cette robinetterie de douche permet de procéder à une désinfection thermique afin
de réduire le risque d’infection par des légionelles !
Le déclenchement de la désinfection thermique s'effectue en faisant tourner le
thermostat au-delà de la limite.
Avertissement !
Pendant la durée de la désinfection thermique, il convient de prendre des mesures
de protection des personnes (protection contre les échaudures), comme l'inter-
diction d'accès aux espaces sanitaires par exemple.
Le non-respect de cette consigne est susceptible de provoquer des blessures corpo-
relles par échaudure.
L’exploitant est responsable de la réalisation, de la surveillance et de l'enregis-
trement (local, prise d’eau, date, heure, température, durée).
Le fabricant décline tout recours en garantie éventuel, émanant de tiers et résultant
d'une réalisation non conforme de la désinfection thermique par l'exploitant.
Le robinet à thermostat est préparé pour procéder à la désinfection thermique par
rotation du thermostat au-delà de la limite. En déverrouillant la butée masquée,
installée sur la manette du sélecteur de température, il existe pour la robinetterie à
thermostat la possibilité de procéder à une désinfection thermique manuelle
(rinçage avec une température de l'eau de ≥70° C).
Attention !
Ne pas toucher le boîtier pendant la désinfection thermique !
Le non-respect de cette consigne est susceptible de provoquer des blessures corpo-
relles par échaudure.

12.1 Maintenir la clé mâle coudée pour vis à six pans creux appuyée et faire tourner la
manette du sélecteur de température (a) dans le sens contraire aux aiguilles d'une
montre jusqu'à la butée.
12.2 Arrivé à la butée, retirer la clé mâle coudée pour vis à six pans creux et continuer à
faire tourner la manette du sélecteur de température (a) au-delà de la butée.
12.3 Faire tourner la manette du sélecteur de la température (a) dans le sens contraire
des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la butée (position finale).
12.4 Déclencher la robinetterie.
12.5 Mesurer la température de l'eau chaude.
12.6 Si la température de l'eau chaude est > 70° C, rincer le robinet pendant au moins 3
minutes. Pour ce faire, il faut plusieurs fois déclencher la robinetterie.
☞La désinfection thermique doit être enregistrée (local, prise d'eau, date, heure,
température, durée).
12.7 Faire tourner la manette du sélecteur de température (a) dans le sens des aiguilles
d'une montre jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche.
Attention !
La manette du sélecteur de température (a) ne doit pas dépasser la butée
lorsqu'on la fait tourner dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre.
12.8 Contrôler la butée.
12.9 Ouvrir la robinetterie afin d'évacuer le reste de l'eau chaude.
12.10 Mesurer la température de l'eau. La température maximale de l'eau ne doit pas
excéder 40° C (voir chapitre 14.).
☞Il n'est pas nécessaire de paramétrer de nouveau la protection contre les échau-
dures après la désinfection thermique.
13. Réglage de la durée d’écoulement
13.1 Régler la température souhaitée de l'eau mélangée.
13.2 Retirer la plaquette de recouvrement.
13.3 Régler la durée d’écoulement à l’aide d’un tournevis.
+ pour une durée d’écoulement plus longue (max. 15 s)
– pour une durée d’écoulement plus courte (min. 1 s)
13.4 Déclencher la robinetterie afin de mesurer la durée d'écoulement.
13.5 Après avoir réglé la durée d’écoulement souhaitée, installer la plaquette de recou-
vrement.
