DETAILED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Insert the Connection Manager Installation CD
into your laptop’s CD or DVD drive:
If you do not have a CD or DVD drive, go to
www.timewarnercable.com/mobilesoftware
to download the Connection Manager.
WINDOWS®USERS:
1. The Install CD will automatically launch.
2. If the CD does not automatically run, manually launch the
Application from My Computer to begin the process.
3. Choose the Install option from the welcome page.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation.
MAC®OS X USERS:
1. Double-click the file named -
Time Warner Cable Connection Manager.mpkg.zip to un-zip
and open the Installation Application.
2. A pop-up box will open “This package will run a program to
determine if the software can be installed.” Select Continue
and begin the installation process.
Step 2: After installation, launch the Connection Manager using
the icon.
Step 3: Insert your laptop card and click Connect.
CONNECTION MANAGER FEATURES
The Connection Manager makes it easy to manage all of your wireless
Internet connections with a few clicks. It will automatically search for
the fastest network available:
4G: Super-fast 4G mobile Internet
3G: 3G nationwide mobile Internet*
WiFi: Local WiFi or preferred WiFi network profile**
If you’d like the Connection Manager to manage your WiFi connections,
refer to the Managing WiFi Connections section below.
*Requires a subscription to a Road Runner Mobile national service plan
**WiFi is not available for Mac®Systems.

MANAGING WI-FI CONNECTIONS
You can set the Connection Manager to manage your Wi-Fi connections
at any time. By enabling this feature, it will automatically search for and
connect you to one of your preferred Wi-Fi profiles (if available) or a
local Wi-Fi network. There are two ways to enable this feature:
1) During the installation
process, check the
Manage my Wi-Fi network
connections box.
Once you have enabled this feature, the Connection Manager will always
search for an available Wi-Fi network first. If you prefer to connect to 4G
or 3G first, you can disable this feature at any time. Simply uncheck the
Manage my Wi-Fi using the Connection Manager box, and restart the
Connection Manager.
Please note that Wi-Fi management through the Connection Manager is not available for
Mac OS X.
Or, 2) From the Connection
Manager, click on
Tools and select
Preferences. Check
the Manage my Wi-Fi
using the Connection
Manager box.
