DO NOT attempt to p sh the rollator while someone is sitting in the seat.

the rollator walker frame or wheels may res lt from improper se.

DO NOT se the seat to transport people or objects. Do not se the seat to carry or move
anything.

DO NOT sit on the seat when the rollator is on an incline. Serio s risk of fall or inj ry may

tip, res lting in bodily inj ry or rollator damage.

DO NOT se the seat witho t the backrest in place. Falls are possible if the ser leans or
slides backward on the seat.

DO NOT sit on the rollator seat nless the brakes are locked.
•
DO NOT p ll the backrest from side or back when the ser is sitting on the rollator.
•
DO NOT lift or carry the rollator by the backrest.
•
WHEN USING the rollator in a stationary position, the hand brakes MUST be locked.
•
CONSULT WITH yo r doctor, physical or occ pational therapist or other q alified
professional regarding the proper height adj stment for maxim m s pport and correct
brake activation.

BEFORE E CH se make s re the rollator frame is f lly opened and in a stable position.
Check the brakes for proper operation. Make s re that all parts are sec re and that
moving parts are in good working order.

LL WHEELS m st be in contact with the floor at LL TIMES. This will ens re the
rollator is properly balanced.

THE SE T m st be in the down position when sing the rollator for amb latory
assistance.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: Yo may wish to req est a set p and operating demonstration
with yo r local Medical Eq ipment provider or pharmacy.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Caref lly remove the Rollator components from the
shipping carton.
2. Examine all parts for shipping damage. DO NOT
se the rollator if there is apparent damage or if any
parts (other than the basket) are missing. If there
are missing or damaged parts, please call Medline
C stomer Care toll free at 1-800-MEDLINE.
3.
Lay the Rollator down so that the seat is facing the
floor. Straighten the legs ntil the Rollator nfolds.
4.
Insert front wheel (L) into frame with the front sticker
located above wheel facing forward. Slide caster in
frame to the proper height and line p the holes.
Sec re in place sing the triang lar hand screw (I).
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Repeat this step for the
other front wheel.
5.
Insert rear caster (B) into frame and slide p to the
proper height. (sho ld match the front) The brake
cable sho ld be lined p on the inside of the frame.
Sec re in place sing the triang lar hand screw (I).
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Repeat this step for the
other rear wheel.
6.
Check all of the wheels to see that they are in good working order and roll freely.
7.
T rn rollator over and place it pon its wheels. Check that the folding bracket (D) is f lly
extended. Place folding strap on top of vinyl bag. P sh the seat down into place.
8.
Insert the padded backrest (E) so that the padded portion faces the front of the nit. P sh
down on the b ttons on the side of the backrest ntil the spring pins lock into place.
9.
Place the basket nder the seat. Sec re snaps aro nd front and back frame and also
nderneath basket to s pport rod (J).
10.
Make s re that the folding strap nder seat is placed on top of the basket.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
OPENING / FOLDING THE ROLL TOR
Opening
Unfold the Medline Rollator by p shing down on the s pport rod (J) to spread apart the frame ntil
the folding brackets (D) are in f ll extension. P sh the seat down into place.
Folding
P ll p on the seat. Locate folding strap and lift by strap.
CHECKING / DJUSTING / OPER TING THE BR KES
•
Before each se, check to make s re the brakes are working properly.
•
P lling up on the brake handles
locks the wheels momentarily.
•
P shing down on the brake handles
will lock the wheels in place.
To adjust the brakes
:
1. Hold the brake pad against the wheel,
2. P ll p on the cable.
3. Adj st locking n t to proper setting.
4. Release brake pad.
5. Retest and repeat as necessary for good brake f nction.

To Operate the Brakes:
• To slow down, sq eeze the brake handles p.
• To lock the brakes, p sh down on the brake handles ntil yo feel or hear the brakes click into
locked position. If the brakes have been adj sted b t the rear wheels on the rollator move while
the brakes are in the locked position, DO NOT se the rolling walker. Please call o r toll-free
c stomer service n mber at 1-800-MEDLINE for ret rns or repairs.
• To release the brakes from the locked position, simply p ll p on the brake handles.
To Use the Rollator as a Seat:
• P sh the Medline Rollator into the position where yo want to sit.
• LOCK the brakes BEFORE sitting.
M INTEN NCE:
Yo r Medline Rolling Walker sho ld be checked periodically to ens re the brakes are f nctioning
properly and that all n ts and bolts are sec re.
Periodically test the brakes by both walking and sq eezing the brakes and by stopping, p shing
down on the brakes to a locked position, and then trying to p sh the walker. If the brakes do not
lock the wheels, the brakes need to be adj sted. If adj stment does not tighten the brakes, DO
NOT se the rolling walker.
