The freeConnect Smart G2420 offers network manageability and high
throughput at an affordable price. Designed for deployment in high
traffic environments, the 24 gigabit ports provide ample bandwidth
for the most demanding servers and switches. It also comes with 2
Gigabit mini GBIC (Auto-Sense) ports, which allow you to easily
extend distance.
The freeConnect Smart G2420 supports quality of service (QoS) which
gives latency-sensitive traffic such as multimedia, video conferencing,
and VoIP higher priority over standard traffic. The switch also supports
VLANs for network segmentation and port trunking for increased
bandwidth between switches.
