Easykon for KNX

Easykon for KNX is an electronic DIN rail case device,
designed to control KNX installations with apps and voice
assistants from Apple, Google, Amazon, IFTTT and Home
Assistant.
With Easykon lights, shutters, sensors, thermostats and
many other KNX devices become easy and safer to use.
You will be able to control your accessories remotely as
well, creating scenes and automations according to your
needs and preferences.

How to install Easykon for KNX
Map the accessories
Check the correctness of the cabling and reconnect the power supply.
Connect the 12/24 V 0.1 AC/DC power cable to the upper left connector;
Connect the KNX bus cables following the colour of the connector on the lower side;
Connect the Ethernet cable to the upper right connector;
Hook Easykon for KNX to the DIN bar of the electrical panel;
Access the Easykon for KNX web interface;
For each accessory, choose a category and enter
a name that you will use with the different platforms;
Complete the parameters with the group addresses
of Command and Status and save.
You can also import the .knxproj or .xml le generated in ETS,
view the structure of your KNX project and drag the group
address directly in the web interface for even faster conguration.

Pairing with Apple HomeKit
Follow the directions to complete the conguration.
Make sure you have selected the House in which you want to
add the accessories connected to Easykon;
Use the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to scan the
eight-digit HomeKit code, or QR code on the Easykon for KNX;
Touch “Add accessory” or the “+”;
Open the application Apple Home on your Apple device;
Follow these steps to carry out the pairing:

Pairing with Google
Open the Google Home App available for Android and iOS;
Make sure you have selected the right prole to which you
want to add the House and your Easykon;
Make sure you have selected the House in which you want to
add the accessories connected to Easykon;
Press the “+” button and select “Congure device”;
Select “Have you already congured something?”;
Search for “Freedompro” among the services listed;
Use your Freedompro prole, logging in with Google or
Facebook, to carry out the pairing with Google Cloud.
Follow these steps to control your KNX system with Google:

Pairing with Amazon Alexa
Use your Freedompro prole, by logging in with Google or
Facebook, to pair with the Amazon Alexa Cloud.
Click on the icon “Devices” in the menu at the bottom and
select “Skill for the smart home”;
Search for “Freedompro” among the services listed and click
on “Enable use”;
Select “Enable smart home skill”;
Open the Amazon Alexa application available for Android
and iOS;
Follow these steps to control KNX with Amazon Alexa:

Pairing with IFTTT Pairing with Home Assistant
Go to IFTTT site; Get the API key from the Freedompro Cloud;
Login with your IFTTT account; Access the Home Assistant web interface;
Click on “Explore” and search
and select “Freedompro”;
Log in with your Home Assistant credentials;
Press on “Connect”;
In the sidebar click on “Conguration”;
Enter the API key you copied from the prole
Freedompro Cloud.
From the list, search for and select “Freedompro”;
Login with your Freedompro Cloud
account;
From the conguration menu select: “Integrations”;
Click on “Allow” to immediately start
to create your automations.
In the bottom right-hand corner, click on the
“Add Integrations” button;
Follow these steps to pair IFTTT
with the Freedompro service:
Follow the steps below to pair Home Assistant
with the Freedompro service:
Once you have paired the Freedompro service, you will be
able to choose among the accessories mapped inside your
Easykon as triggers and actions and create any automation
you want.
