
About the Handlebar Foam
Use of the Handlebar Foam
The Handlebar Foam is the Freelap accessory which lets you securely attach your
phone to your motorbike. It lets the rider check his lap times, live throughout the race,
thanks to the MyFreelap app.

Compatible smartphones
• The Handlebar Foam is compatible with standard-sized smartphones.
Size in inches +/-: 5", H 14.45 cm x L 7.32 cm x P 1.03 cm.
• The smartphone must have an Android or IOS operating system.
• You don’t need to have a SIM card. In fact, the app can be installed using a Wi-Fi
connection, and then data can be received during training, without a network or Internet
connection, using the offline mode of the MyFreelap app.
• The smartphone must be Bluetooth-enabled.

• Dimensions of the preformed slot for the smartphone: 14,45 x 7,32 x 1,03 cm

• Once you have started recording your Workout, click
on the menu on the top-right > then click on “Open
full screen mode”.
You can start your Workout!
The Handlebar Foam is compatible with both bar and barless handlebars.
• Undo the velcro straps located on the underside of the Handlebar Foam.
• Attach it, centred on the handlebar, by inserting the handlebar into the preformed
foam slot.
• Close by folding back the velcro straps tightly so that the Handlebar Foam does not
move.
• The velcro straps must pass under the risers of the motorbike.
• Lift up the plastic window by undoing the Velcro straps from the bottom to the top .
• Place the smartphone horizontally inside the preformed slot, the screen facing
outwards.
• Carefully close the plastic window using the Velcro straps.
For a better readability of your times on your smartphone, we recommend to activate
the full screen mode. To do this :
• Create and start your MyFreelap Workout on your smartphone.
