SAFETY INFORMATION
1. The Press has safety guards covering the
hydraulic cylinders. Never remove these
guards during operation.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Prior to use, please read instruction manual.
2.) Uncrate Press
3.) If oil is low in reservoir—needs to be added
4.) Roll Press into production area.
5.) Place Juice Collection Tray into indicated position.
The Juice tray can be removed from its position and
emptied into a customer supplied receptacle.
Note: The press will run without having the juice collection tray in
position. To collect the juice, the juice collection tray needs to be
placed into position.
6.) Place clean press bag into the position indicated.
7.) Plug in equipment into the indicated electrical supply.
a. Please confirm that adequate electrical supply is available. It is
important to confirm this. Warranty may be voided if
connected improperly.
8.) Fill the Press Bag with ground or shredded produce from your
desired food processor.
DO NOT OVERFILL THE PRESS BAG OR IT MAY BURST. FRESHLY
SQUEEZED RECOMMENDS FILLING THE BAG WITH APPROXIMATELY
24oz (3 CUPS) OF PRODUCE.

9.) The green button powers the machine, the red button turns it off.
Note: The press is designed to run continuously. It is not
necessary nor recommended to turn on and off the press during
operation.

10.) Keep the press closed until there is only a slight drip of juice coming
from the press bag. Once you hear a “whistling sound,” switch the black lever
to the neutral position “N.” Leave in the neutral position until the juice has
stopped dripping.
11.) After the completion of the press cycle, break up the cake in the
bag using a spoon or other kitchen utensil and repeat step 9.
Note: It is best practice to break the cake up using a
spoon or kitchen utensil and then press a second time.
Do not use a sharp kitchen utensil such as a knife to break up
the cake. This may result in piercing or cutting the press bag.

12.) Remove the press bag from its position and empty the cake.
13.) Replace Press Bag into its position.
14.) Fill Press Bag with ground or shredded produce.
15.) Repeat the above steps (3 – 14) to continue making juice.

CLEANING OF PRESS
WARNING
UNPLUG MACHINE PRIOR TO CLEANING
1.) Remove the Juice Collection Tray and place in sink to clean:
Clean this item as you would any kitchen utensil.
2.) Remove Press Bags and clean appropriately per the procedure
in this manual.
3.) Wash down Procedure for Press
a. Prior to washing the unit down, Freshly Squeezed
recommends covering the control panel with a plastic bag
or plastic wrap.

b. Wipe and Hose down the press with low water pressure supply (such
as a hose from a sink). Freshly Squeezed recommends using a
detergent that is bleach free, phosphate free, perfume free, and dye
free.
4.) Wipe down excess water with dry cloths.
5.) Allow Press to adequately dry before next use.
6.) Prior to plugging in machine again, make sure press and plug are dry.
Prior to using the machine, if guards were removed for cleaning,
replace guards. NEVER operate the press without its guards.

CLEANING OF PRESS BAGS
At the end of the processing day, please follow this procedure for proper cleaning of the press
bags. Please note that proper cleaning will continue to give the press its best performance.
1. Remove Press Bag(s) from the Press.
2. Remove all cake from the Press Bag by rinsing or removal of cake by
hand.
3. Take the bag to a water source and rinse the bag thoroughly with
hot water so that no particulates of produce are present.
Note: This may take multiple rinses.
Note: Bags will take on the colors of the pressed produce. This is
normal.
4. Wash bag(s) using a green, residue free detergent in a washing
machine. Freshly Squeezed recommends using a detergent that is free
of:
- bleach
- phosphates
- synthetic dyes
- perfumes
5. Rinse bag(s) thoroughly with water.
6. Prepare a solution of sanitizer.
7. Soak Bag(s) in Sanitizer solution for no less than 1 minute
8. After soaking, remove and let air dry for the next use.
9. Once bags are dry, fold and place in a freezer.

MAINTENANCE
The Freshly Squeezed equipment is designed to have a minimum amount
of maintenance. The equipment should remain trouble-free for many years
by following these checks.
DAILY
1. Prior to plugging in the equipment, confirm that the plug is dry.
2. Inspect Press Bags for any holes
WEEKLY
1. Check all fasteners to ensure they are in place and tight.
2. Confirm that Hydraulic Oil Cap is secure.
3. Make visual inspection for any oil leaks.
EVERY 3 MONTHS
1. Check the see-through oil indicator. Confirm that Hydraulic Oil is
present. Top off if necessary. Freshly Squeezed recommends the
use of PR-Oil SAE 32/10 Weight food grade oil.

2. Replace any Caution or Safety Stickers that may have fallen off due to
normal wear and tear.
ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURE
1. If it is desired to open the electrical enclosure, please ensure that it is
closed prior to use.
2. The Freshly Squeezed Unit has programming. Tampering with the
program will void any warranty.

Trouble Shooting Guide
