If you have any issues pairing the lock with the app,
simply restart the process by reinserting the battery.
This will set the lock into Search Mode for 5 minutes.
In the app, select the ‘Settings’ icon and then
‘Add Product’ – your phone will begin searching for
the lock.
Moving the lock to another door will require another
install and setup.

Your Warranty
1. This Friday Smart Lock (“Device”) is covered
by a two-year warranty (“Warranty”) from the
date of purchase (“Warranty Period”), on the
terms set out below.
2. By installing and/or using the Device, you are
agreeing to be bound by the terms of this
Warranty. If you do not agree to the terms of
this Warranty, our returns policy entitles you to
a refund upon receipt of the unused (in its
original condition and packaging) Device
within 30 days of the date of purchase (or the
return period stipulated by the place of
purchase, whichever is longer).
3. The Device must have been purchased
through our authorised distribution channels.
4. A proof of purchase shall be required when
submitting any claim under this Warranty.
5. This Warranty only covers defects in or to the
Device.
6. During the Warranty Period, we undertake to
rectify any and all defects in the Device
attributable to faulty workmanship, materials
and function (or at our discretion, replace the
Device or provide a full refund) provided that
the installation, use and maintenance
instructions are followed in full and provided
that the Exclusions set out below do not
apply.
7. Where there is a defect in your Device that may
come within this Warranty, please contact the
place where you purchased the Device
supplying them with your proof of purchase
and relevant contact details together with a
description of the defect. Your place of
purchase will provide these details to us and
an assessment will be made. There may be a
requirement for the Device to be returned to
us for a detailed assessment.
8. Following an assessment, if we determine that
the Device is defective and none of the
Exclusions set out below are applicable, we, at
our discretion, shall either repair or replace
the defective Device or refund the price of
the defective Device.
9. We do not accept liability for your costs of
dismantling, installation or carriage. Parts
that we have replaced become our property.
10. Exclusions – this Warranty does not cover
damage caused to the Device through:
• Normal wear and tear
• Improper installation
• Negligent care and maintenance
• Deliberate or accidental damage
• Continued use following notification of a
defect to your distributor or to us
• Improper initial and subsequent
operation
• Alternations or modifications to the
Device made by, or authorised by, the
customer
• External causes such as fire, water, salts,
alkaline solutions or acid, power
outages, internet problems
• Unauthorised repairs or repairs carried
out by unapproved persons
• Removing the product number or
making the Device unidentifiable
11. When a Device is repaired under this
Warranty, the remaining time left on this
Warranty will still be valid, but not extended.
On a replacement product, you will receive a
new warranty for the replacement Device
and this Warranty will become void.
12. This Warranty is non-transferable and
applies to Devices purchased in the United
Kingdom only.
13. This Warranty does not affect your statutory
rights.
14. This Warranty (and any disputes arising from
it) is governed by the law of England and
Wales.
