IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1Read all instructions.
2Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plugs, or
appliance in water or other liquid.
4Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
5Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before putting on or taking off parts.
6Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner,
return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for
inspection, repair, or adjustment.
7Do not use outdoors.
8Do not let cord touch hot surfaces or hang over edge of table
or counter where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
9Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven or in a microwave oven.
10 Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
11 The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause serious injuries.
12 To disconnect, press the Cancel button, and then remove the cord
by grasping and pulling out the plug from wall outlet. Never unplug
by pulling on the cord.
13 Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil, or other hot liquids.
14 Oversized foods, metal foil packages or utensils must not be
inserted into the Toaster, as they may create a re or a risk of
electric shock.
15 While in operation, a re may occur if the Toaster is covered or
touching ammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls,
and the like. Do not store, or lay any item on the Toaster during
operation.
16 Do not attempt to dislodge food when Toaster is plugged in.
17 Service should only be performed by an authorized service provider.

Short Cord Instructions: Your Toaster appliance is tted with
a short power supply cord as a safety precaution to prevent personal
injury or property damage resulting from pulling, tripping or becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do not allow children to

cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If

Countdown Indicator
The Pro-Select® LCD display will change from the darkness level
to the countdown indicator once the Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever is
pushed down, and the toasting cycle begins.
Extra Wide Slots With Self-Centering Cage
The convenient large opening of the slots will accommodate thicker
slices of bread and bagels. But with the help of the self-centering
cage, even the thinnest slices are kept upright and in the center to
ensure consistent toasting on both sides.
Durable Stainless Steel Exterior
The durable all-stainless steel upper exterior is easy to clean and
always looks great.
Removable Crumb Trays
The Crumb Trays are easily accessible and removable. The
drawer-like trays are located in the front of the Toaster. The trays
themselves are constructed of aluminum, and are dishwasher safe
(wash in top rack only).
Under-Side Cord Wrap
Expose only enough cord to reach your electrical outlet. The
remaining cord stays neatly wound under the Toaster and out of
sight.
Effortless™Lift-Out Lever
The Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever makes even the smallest bread
products more accessible by lifting the bread or bagel higher in
the slots after toasting. For even higher reach, push the Lift Lever
upward from its home-up position.
Bagel Button
The Bagel feature turns off the outer heating elements, toasting
only the sliced face of the bagel.
Reheat Button
This feature allows you to place nished toast that has cooled, back
in the Toaster to reheat.
Defrost Button
This feature will defrost frozen toasting items, and then
automatically start the toasting cycle.
Cancel Button
At any time during the toasting process, pressing the cancel button
will immediately turn off the heating elements and lift the food.

Toasting Bread
If at any time you want to stop the toasting process, simply press
the Cancel button and the unit will turn off and lift the product.
1If the Toaster is not plugged in, plug it in to a grounded wall
outlet now.
2Place one to four slices of fresh bread into the Toaster.
3Using the Up or Down arrows, set the degree of darkness to
the desired setting; number 7 being the darkest.
4Press the Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever all the way down until
it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin immediately
and display the countdown indicator.
5Once the cycle is complete, the lever will lift the toast up
for removal. If the bread products are smaller in size and
hard to reach safely, gently lift the lever up to raise the toast
higher in the slots.
6The toast and the surface surrounding the slots will be hot.
To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing the
toast from the Toaster.
Toasting Bagels (or English Mufns)
By turning off the outer heating elements, the Bagel function will
toast the sliced side of the bagel, while gently warming the soft,
unsliced side.
If at any time you want to stop the toasting process, simply press
the Cancel button and the unit will turn off and lift the product.
1Place one to four sliced bagel halves into the Toaster. Insert
the bagel (or English mufn) halves so that the sliced side
faces the center of each set of slots.
2Using the Up or Down arrows, set the degree of darkness
to the desired setting; number 7 being the darkest. English
mufns typically require a slightly higher setting than bagels.
3Press the Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever all the way down until
it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin immediately
and display the countdown indicator.
4Once the cycle is complete, the lever will lift the bagel or
mufn up for removal. If the bread products are smaller in
size and hard to reach safely, gently lift the lever up to raise
the toasted food up higher in the slots.
USING THE TOASTERPREPARING TOASTER FOR FIRST USE
1Carefully unpack the contents from the box and check to make
sure all accessories are accounted for, and that the Toaster
and accessories appear to be free of any physical damage.
If you discover any damage, or missing parts, please contact
our customer service department at 1-888-845-7330 prior to
plugging the unit in.
2Remove any printed material or tape from the Toaster, and then
inspect the interior by looking down into the slots to make sure
there are no packaging materials, or foreign objects inside the
Toaster. Do not probe the inside of the Toaster with any metal
object.
3Turn the Toaster over and
unwrap as much of the cord as
necessary to adequately reach
the electrical outlet, and then
plug the unit in.
4On the control panel, press the
up arrow repeatedly until the
Pro-Select® LCD display is set to
the highest setting of “7”.
5Without placing any bread
products in the Toaster, push
the Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever
down until it locks into place.
The Toaster will heat up to
toasting temperatures and run
for approximately 4 minutes. Repeat this process again for a
second time. You may detect some light smoke or odor. This
is normal and why we recommend running the rst cycle or 2
without bread products.
6Your new Toaster is now ready for normal use.

Reheating
Quickly reheat previously toasted food. Do not reheat food with
butter or other toppings. Reheat only dry food products.
If at any time you want to stop the toasting process, simply press
the Cancel button and the unit will turn off and lift the product.
1Place the previously toasted food into the Toaster.
2Press the Reheat button. No level setting number will be
present, as the warming temperature and heating time are
preset.
3Once the food has been adequately heated, the unit will
raise the food.
4The food and the surface surrounding the slots will be hot.
To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing the
toast from the Toaster.
Defrost
Defrost and toast frozen bread in one easy step. Frozen wafes,
pancakes, and french toast should be warmed using the Defrost
function.
If at any time you want to stop the Defrost/Toasting process,
simply press the Cancel button and the unit will turn off and lift the
product.
1Insert the frozen bread into the Toaster and press the
Defrost button.
2Using the Up or Down arrows, set the degree of darkness to
the desired setting; number 7 being the darkest.
3Press the Effortless™ Lift-Out Lever all the way down until
it locks into place. The Defrost cycle will begin immediately.
Once the Defrost cycle is complete, the toasting process will
automatically begin. At the end of the Toast cycle, the lever
will lift the food up for removal.
4The toast and the surface surrounding the slots will be hot.
To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing the
toast from the Toaster.

1Unplug the Toaster and allow ample time for all components to
cool.
2From the front of the Toaster, slide the
Crumb Trays out and empty into a waste
container. The Crumb Trays should be
emptied and cleaned after each use. The
Crumb Trays are dishwasher safe and
should be washed in the top rack of the
dishwasher.
To clean the exterior of the Toaster, after the unit cools,
simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. To brighten and clean
the stainless steel exterior, Frigidaire recommends Ecosential
Stainless Steel Cleaner by Smart ChoiceTM. Purchase online at

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers and do not immerse
the Toaster in water.
3After cleaning, return the Crumb Trays to
the Toaster. Be sure the Crumb Trays seat
properly by pressing rmly into place.
Do not operate the Toaster without the
Crumb Trays properly installed.
MAINTAINING AND CARING FOR
YOUR TOASTER TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Tips
• Drier breads typically require a lower darkness level setting than
normal.
• Very fresh and whole wheat breads typically require a higher
darkness level setting than normal.
• Use caution with toaster pastries as the lling can become very
hot before the surface is toasted. Never toast or warm these
unattended.
• Never force foods into the toasting slots.
• After each use, unplug the Toaster from the electrical outlet.
Troubleshooting
If your Toaster should fail to operate, check to make sure it is
plugged into a properly grounded electrical outlet. If it is, unplug
the unit for one minute and then plug back in. If the unit fails to
operate, unplug the Toaster and check the fuse or circuit breaker
to the electrical outlet.
If this does not solve the problem, immediately discontinue the use
of the Toaster. See the Frigidaire warranty section of this guide to
obtain service information.

Your appliance is covered by a one year limited warranty. For
one year from your original date of purchase, Electrolux will repair
or replace the appliance or parts, at Electrolux’s option, that prove
to be defective in materials or workmanship when the appliance
is installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the provided
instructions. Labor and all costs associated with returning the
appliance or parts to us and our returning the appliance or parts
to you are excluded under this warranty. As a matter of warranty
policy, Electrolux will not refund the consumer’s purchase price. If
a product or part under warranty is no longer available, Electrolux
will replace with a comparable product of equal or greater value.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover the

Botón de Recalentamiento
Esta función le permite colocar un pan tostado que se ha enfriado de
nuevo en el Tostador para recalentarlo.
Botón de Descongelamiento
Esta función descongela el pan tostado congelado e inicia
automáticamente el ciclo de tueste.
Botón Para Cancelar
En cualquier momento durante el proceso de tueste, al presionar
el botón para cancelar, se apagan automáticamente los elementos
térmicos y se eleva el alimento.
1Desempaque con cuidado el contenido de la caja y compruebe
que vienen todos los accesorios y que tanto el Tostador como
los accesorios no muestran indicios de daños materiales.
Si usted descubre algún daño o que faltan piezas, favor de
comunicarse con nuestro departamento de servicio al cliente al

2Retire cualquier material impreso o cinta del Tostador, luego
inspeccione el interior observando el interior de las ranuras

Tostador se calentará a la temperatura de tueste y funcionará
aproximadamente durante 4 minutos. Repita este proceso por
segunda vez. Puede ser que detecte un poco de humo u olor.
Esto es normal y el la razón por la que recomendamos poner
en funcionamiento el primero o segundo ciclo sin productos de
pan.
6Su Tostador nuevo ya está listo para el uso normal.

Para Tostar Roscas (o Panecillo Inglés)
Al apagarse los elementos térmicos externos, la función para
Roscas tuesta el lado rebanado de la rosca, a la vez que calienta el
lado suave no rebanado.

Recalentamiento
Recaliente rápidamente panes que se tostaron con anterioridad. No
recaliente panes con mantequilla u otros ingredientes. Recaliente
solamente panes secos.

elevará el producto.
1Coloque los panes que se tostaron con anterioridad en el
Tostador.
2Presione el botón Recalentar. No habrá un número de
conguración, porque la temperatura y el tiempo de
calentamiento están preestablecidos.
3Una vez que el pan se haya recalentado, la unidad elevará el
alimento.
4 El alimento y la supercie alrededor de las ranuras van
a estar calientes. Para evitar quemaduras, tenga mucho
cuidado al retirar el pan del Tostador.
Descongelamiento
Descongele y tueste pan congelado en un paso fácil. Tanto wafes,
panqueques y tostados franceses congelados se deben calentar
mediante la función de descongelamiento.

1Desenchufe el tostador y deje que transcurra tiempo para que
se enfríen todos los componentes
2Desde el lado posterior del Tostador,
extraiga las bandejas captadoras de
migajas y vacíe el contenido en un bote de
basura. Las bandejas para captar migajas
se deben vaciar y limpiar después de cada
uso. La bandeja para captar migajas apta
para lavavajillas y se debe lavar en la rejilla
superior del lavavajillas.
Para limpiar el exterior del Tostador,
una vez que se enfría la unidad, solo limpie con un paño
suave humedecido. Para lustrar y limpiar el exterior de acero
inoxidable, Frigidaire recomienda el limpiador de acero
inoxidable Ecosential de Smart Choice™. Se puede adquirir
en línea en http://frigidaire.stores.yahoo.net/ o llamando al
número gratuito: 1-800-599-7569.
No utilice limpiadores o cepillos abrasivos ni sumerja en agua el
tostador.
3Después de limpiarla, coloque nuevamente
las bandejas para captar migajas en el
Tostador. Compruebe que la bandeja
se asienta perfectamente empujándola
con rmeza en su lugar. No ponga a
funcionar el Tostador si las bandejas
para captar migajas no se han instalado
correctamente.

Sugerencias
• Normalmente los panes más secos requieren de un nivel de
dorado más bajo que el normal.
• Normalmente, los panes más frescos y de trigo integral requieren
de un nivel de dorado más alto que el normal.
• Tenga cuidado con reposterías para tostador, porque el relleno se
puede calentar demasiado antes de que se tueste la supercie.
Nunca los caliente o tueste sin vigilarlos.
• Nunca introduzca a la fuerza alimentos en las ranuras para tostar.
• Después de cada uso, desenchufe el Tostador de la toma de
corriente eléctrica.
Localización y Solución de Problemas
Si su Tostador no funciona, compruebe que está conectado a una
toma de corriente debidamente conectada a tierra. Si la conexión
es correcta, desenchufe la unidad durante un minuto, luego
conéctela de nuevo. Si la unidad sigue sin funcionar, desenchufe el
Tostador y revise el fusible o el disyuntor de la toma de corriente
eléctrica.
Si esto no resuelve el problema, deje de usar inmediatamente el

IMPORTANTES MESURES DE
PROTECTION
Lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, des mesures de
sécurité de base doivent toujours être suivies, incluant les
