SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
1. Um Schäden durch unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch zu vermeiden, ist die Bedie-
nungsanleitung zu beachten und sorgfältig
aufzubewahren. Eine Kopie der Bedie-
nungsanleitung erhalten Sie auf Anfrage

2. Das Stylingeisen ist nur zum Frisieren von
Haaren zu verwenden. Jede andere Nut-
zung ist nicht zulässig.
3. Das Stylingeisen ist kein Spielzeug!
4. Das Stylingeisen wird bei Benutzung heiß.
Vermeiden Sie Hautkontakt wenn das
Stylingeisen eingeschaltet ist oder wenn
die Heizplatten noch heiß sind. Es besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr.
5. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Spannungsan-
gabe auf dem Typenschild des Styling-
eisens mit der Netzspannung überein-
stimmt. Netzspannung 220-240 VAC, 50/60
Hz, 35 W, Schutzklasse II, doppelt isoliert.

6. Dieses Zeichen bedeutet:
Das Stylingeisen darf niemals in
der Badewanne, Dusche, über
mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken oder
mit nassen Händen benutzt werden. Das
Stylingeisen darf auch nicht in der Nähe
von Wasser benutzt werden, welches in
Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen
Gefäßen enthalten ist, und nie in Wasser
getaucht werden.
7. Wenn das Stylingeisen in einem Badezim-
mer verwendet wird, ist nach Gebrauch
immer der Stecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe
von Wasser eine Gefahr darstellt, auch
wenn das Stylingeisen ausgeschaltet ist.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installa-
tion einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung
(RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslöse-
strom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Bade-
zimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Lassen Sie
sich von Ihrem Elektroinstallateur beraten.
8. Schalten Sie das Stylingeisen nach Ge-
brauch immer aus. Ziehen Sie stets den
Netzstecker heraus, wenn Sie das Styling-
eisen nicht benutzen oder reinigen.
9. Legen Sie das Stylingeisen nicht auf

empfindlichen Oberflächen oder in der
Nähe von entflammbaren Materialien (z.B.
Dosen, Plastikteilen oder Behältern, die
durch die heiße Oberfläche des Stylingei-
senes schmelzen oder Feuer fangen kön-
nen) ab. Legen Sie das Stylingeisen nur auf
einer hitzebeständigen Oberfläche ab.
10. Dieses Stylingeisen kann von Jugendli-
chen über 14 Jahren und von Personen mit
reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Er-
fahrung und/ oder Wissen benutzt werden,
wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Stylingeisens un-
terwiesen wurden und die daraus resultie-
renden Gefahren verstanden haben.
Schützen sie Ihre Kinder: Wir raten davon
ab, dass dieses Stylingeisen von Kindern
unter 14 Jahren benutzt wird, da diese
oft nicht die notwendige motorische und
mentale Fähigkeit für die korrekte Benut-
zung haben. Ebenso fehlt das Verständnis
für die Gefahren des Stylingeisens wie z.B.
des versehentlichen Verbrennens durch die
heiße Oberfläche.
11. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Stylingeisen

spielen. Reinigung und Wartung dürfen
nicht durch Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung
durchgeführt werden.
12. Das Stylingeisen darf nicht in Betrieb
genommen werden, wenn das Kabel oder
der Stecker beschädigt ist oder das Stylin-
geisen Schäden aufweist. Bei einem Defekt
und/ oder einer Funktionsstörung das
Stylingeisen sofort ausschalten und den
Netzstecker ziehen. Wenn das Netzkabel,
der Stecker oder das Stylingeisen beschä-
digt sein sollte, versuchen Sie niemals,
das Stylingeisen selbst zu reparieren, da
durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen erheb-
liche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen
können. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fach-
händler.
13. Das Stylingeisen muss erst abkühlen, be-
vor es verstaut oder weggepackt wird.
14. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das
heiße Stylingeisen.
15. Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung und Wartung
des Stylingeisens den Netzstecker. Die
Pflege und Wartung darf nur am abge-
kühlten Stylingeisen durchgeführt werden.

16. Beim Ausstecken des Stylingeisens ziehen
Sie niemals am Netzkabel oder am
Stylingeisen selbst.
17. Halten Sie das Stylingeisen zum Tragen
nicht am Netzkabel fest.

HERZLICHEN GLÜCKWUNSCH!
Sie haben sich für ein erstklassiges Profi-Stylingeisen
entschieden. Bitte beachten Sie sorgfältig die Hinweise
zur Bedienung, Pflege und Sicherheit, damit Sie lange
Zeit Freude an Ihrem Stylingeisen haben werden.
Ihr Stylingeisen verwendet neueste Technologie:
• Bewegungssensor für reduzierten Energieverbrauch
Wird das Stylingeisen mehr als 3 Minuten nicht be-
nutzt, beginnt der Schlafmodus. Die Temperatur fällt
und der Energieverbrauch sinkt auf ein Minimum.
Sobald das Stylingeisen wieder in die Hand genom-
men wird, heizt es automatisch auf.
• Maximale Sicherheit dank automatischer Abschal-
tung nach 30 Minuten
• Ultraglatte Keramikplatten für hervorragende
Glättung
• Federnd gelagerte Heizplatten mit abgerundeten
Kanten gleiten perfekt durchs Haar
• Sekundenschnelle Aufheizzeit, die Temperatur wird

permanent konstant gehalten
INBETRIEBNAHME
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Stylingeisens in die
Steckdose.
Bewegen Sie den ON/OFF Schalter in die Position ON.
Eine rote LED fängt schnell zu blinken an und das Styling-
eisen heizt auf. Alle 3 Sekunden ertönt ein akustisches
Signal (Piepton) bis das Stylingeisen die Betriebstem-
peratur erreicht hat. Bei Erreichen der Betriebstempe-
ratur ertönt ein doppeltes akustisches Signal (doppelter
Piepton) und die LED leuchtet rot ohne Unterbrechung.
Wird das Stylingeisen ca. 3 Minuten nicht benutzt,
beginnt der Schlafmodus. Die Temperatur fällt und der
Energieverbraucht sinkt. Die rote LED blinkt langsam.
Sobald das Stylingeisen wieder verwendet wird, heizt
es automatisch auf. Die rote LED blinkt schnell und alle
3 Sekunden ertönt ein akustisches Signal (Piepton) bis
das Stylingeisen die Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat.
Bei Erreichen der Betriebstemperatur ertönt ein doppel-
tes akustisches Signal (doppelter Piepton) und die LED
leuchtet rot ohne Unterbrechung.
Zum Ausschalten bewegen Sie den ON/OFF Schalter in
die Position OFF. Ziehen Sie anschließend den Netzste-
cker.
Wird das Stylingeisen 30 Minuten lang nicht verwendet,
schaltet es automatisch ab. Dies ist eine Sicherheits-

vorkehrung. Bei Nichtgebrauch ist das Stylingeisen
dennoch stets auszuschalten und der Netzstecker muss
gezogen werden.
PFLEGE UND WARTUNG
Um eine optimale Leistungsfähigkeit Ihres Fripac Mondi-
al Stylingeisens sicherzustellen, sollten die Heizplatten
regelmäßig gereinigt werden.
Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass das Stylingeisen ausge-
schaltet und abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung
beginnen. Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker.
Reinigen Sie die Heizplatten mit einem weichen Tuch
unter Verwendung von Isopropylalkohol (IPA). Geben Sie
das Reinigungsmittel nicht direkt auf die Heizplatten,
sondern befeuchten Sie das Tuch.
Zur Reinigung des Gehäuses verwenden Sie ein feuchtes
Tuch ohne Alkohol.
Verwenden Sie niemals aggressive Reinigungsmittel, die
die Heizplatten beschädigen können.
ENTSORGUNG
Benutzerinformation zur Entsorgung von elek-
trischen und elektronischen Stylingeisen
Dieses Symbol auf Produkten und/ oder begleitenden
Dokumenten bedeutet, dass verbrauchte elektrische und
elektronische Produkte nicht mit gewöhnlichem Haus-
haltsabfall vermischt werden sollen.
Bringen Sie zur ordnungsgemäßen Behandlung, Rück-
gewinnung und zum Recycling diese Produkte zu den

entsprechenden Sammelstellen, wo sie ohne Gebühren
entgegengenommen werden. In einigen Ländern kann
es auch möglich sein, diese Produkte beim Kauf eines

GARANTIE
Auf das Stylingeisen haben Sie bei ausschließlich pri-
vater Nutzung 2 Jahre und bei gewerblicher Nutzung 1
Jahr Garantie vom Kaufdatum an. Wir verpflichten uns,
während dieser Zeit alle infolge eines Herstell- oder
Materialfehlers schadhaft gewordenen Teile kostenlos
instand zu setzen. Die Garantie kann nicht gewährt
werden, wenn von fremder Hand Veränderungen oder
Reparaturversuche vorgenommen werden. Ebenso fallen
durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Unterlassen der
regelmäßigen Reinigung der Heizplatten verursachte
Schäden nicht unter die Garantieverpflichtung. Voraus-
setzung für eine reibungslose Garantieabwicklung ist,
dass der Kaufbeleg zusammen mit dem Stylingeisen
eingesandt wird.

Niederspannungsrichtlinie, EMV Richtlinie, Richtlinie
über Energieverbrauchsrelevante Produkte sowie den
Anforderungen der ROHS und REACH Richtlinie.

SAFETY NOTICE

ce, please read these instructions carefully
and keep them safe for future reference. A

2. This styling iron should only be used for
styling human hair. It must not be used for
any other purpose.
3. Do not use the styling iron as a toy!
4. The styling iron will get hot in use. To pro-
tect yourself from burns, avoid skin contact
with the styling iron when it is switched on
or when the plates are still hot.
5. Ensure that the voltage on the specification
plate of the styling iron corresponds with
the supply voltage. Supply voltage 220-240
VAC, 50/60 Hz, 35 W, protection class II,
double insulated.
6. This sign means:

used in the bathtub, shower, over
sinks filled with water or with wet hands.

The styling iron must never be used near
water contained in bathtubs, sinks or other
vessels, and must never be immersed in
water.
7. When the styling iron is used in the bath-
room, always unplug it from the mains
supply after use, because the proximity to
water presents a hazard even when the
styling iron is switched off. For additional
protection, we recommend to install a resi-
dual current device (RCD) that is designed
to trip on a maximum leakage current of
30mA in the electric circuit supplying the
bathroom. Please ask your electrician for
advice.
8. Always switch off the styling iron after
use. Unplug it from the mains supply if the
styling iron is not in use or is being cle-
aned.
9. Do not place the styling iron on delicate
surfaces or near flammable materials (e.g.
cans, plastic parts or containers that may
melt or catch fire when exposed to the hot
surface of the styling iron). Only place the
styling iron on heat-resistant surfaces.
10. The styling iron may be used by adole-

scents over the age of 14 and by people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or inst-
ructed on how to use the styling iron safely
and have understood the resulting risks.
Protect your children: We do not recom-
mend that this styling iron is used by
children under the age of 14, because they
often lack the motor and mental capacity
necessary for using the styling iron correc-
tly. They like wise lack the understanding
of the potential hazards presented by the
styling iron, e.g. accidental burning resul-
ting from contact with the hot surface.
11. Children must not play with the styling
iron. Children must not clean and carry out
maintenance without being supervised.
12. The styling iron must not be used if the
cord or plug is damaged, or if the styling
iron is damaged. In case of a fault and/
or malfunction, switch off and unplug the
styling iron immediately. If the cord, the
plug or the styling iron is damaged, ne-
ver try to repair the styling iron yourself,
because the user is exposed to consider-

able risks resulting from incorrect repairs.

13. Allow the styling iron to cool down before
putting it away.
14. Do not wrap the cord around the hot styling
iron.
15. Unplug the styling iron before carrying out
care and maintenance. Care and main-
tenance must only be carried out when
the styling iron has had time to cool down.

16. Never unplug the styling iron by pulling on
the cord or the styling iron itself.
17. Do not carry the styling iron by holding it by
the cord.

When the styling iron is not in use for more than 3
minutes, it automatically enters sleep mode. The
temperature drops and energy consumption is
reduced to a minimum. As soon as the styling iron is
taken up again, it automatically heats up.
• Maximum safety thanks to automatic switch-off after
30 minutes
• Smooth ceramic plates for perfectly smooth hair
• Spring-mounted plates with rounded edges glide
effortlessly through your hair
• Heats up in seconds; temperature is kept perma-
nently constant
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug the styling iron into the mains supply.
Move the ON/OFF switch to the position marked ‘ON’. A
red LED starts to flash fast and the styling iron heats up.
Every 3 seconds you can hear an acoustic signal (beep)
until the styling iron has reached its operating tempera-
ture. When the operating temperature has been reached,
you can hear a double acoustic signal (double beep) and
the LED is lit in red without interruptions.
When the styling iron is not in use for ca. 3 minutes, it
automatically enters sleep mode. The temperature and
energy consumption drop. The red LED flashes slowly.
As soon as the styling iron is in use again, it automati-
cally heats up. The red LED flashes fast and every 3

seconds you can hear an acoustic signal (beep) until the
styling iron has reached its operating temperature. When
the operating temperature has been reached, you can
hear a double acoustic signal (double beep) and the LED
is lit in red without interruptions.
To switch off the styling iron, move the ON/OFF switch
to the position marked ‘OFF’ and unplug the styling iron
from the mains supply.
As a safety precaution, the styling iron switches off auto-
matically if it is not in use for 30 minutes. Nevertheless,
if the styling iron is not in use, it must always be swit-
ched off and unplugged from the mains supply.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To ensure optimum performance of your Fripac Mondial
styling iron, the plates should be cleaned regularly.
Before cleaning, ensure that the styling iron is switched
off and has cooled down. Unplug the styling iron from the
mains supply before cleaning.
Use a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to clean the
plates. Do not apply the cleaning agent directly onto the
plates, but onto the cloth.
To clean the housing use a moist cloth without alcohol.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents that may damage
the plates.

DISPOSAL
User information about the disposal of electrical
and electronic devices
This symbol on products and/or accompanying docu-
ments indicates that electrical and electronic products
should not be mixed with domestic waste.
Take these products to appropriate collection facili-
ties for proper handling and recycling. The collection
facilities will not charge any fees. In some countries it
may also be possible to return these products to your
local retailer. The proper disposal of this product helps
protect the environment and prevents possible harmful
effects on humans and the environment resulting from
improper treatment of waste. Your local council will be
able to provide you with information about your nearest
collection facility.
In accordance with federal law, the improper disposal of
this kind of waste may incur fines.
WARRANTY
As of the date of purchase, the styling iron comes with
a warranty of 2 years if the product has been used for
domestic purposes and a warranty of 1 year if it has been
used for commercial purposes. During that time, we
agree to repair any parts damaged due to a manufactu-
ring or material fault free of charge. The warranty only
applies if the styling iron has not been modified or re-
paired by unauthorised people. The guarantee cannot be
provided in case of damage through misuse or neglect.

To ensure a smooth process of your claim, return the
styling iron together with proof of purchase.
The styling iron fulfils the requirements of the low
voltage directive, EMC directive, directive for energy
consumption relevant products and the requirements of
the ROHS and REACH directive.

6. Ce pictogramme signifie:
N‘utilisez jamais l‘appareil dans

7. Lorsque vous utilisez le fer plat dans une
salle de bains, vous devez toujours débran-
cher la fiche secteur lorsque vous ne vous
servez pas de l‘appareil, parce que la pro-
