1 Normas de seguridad
Por favor, lea atentamente las instrucciones antes de utilizar el modulador. Encontrará mucha
información para usar correctamente el modulador y prevenir incidentes. Por favor, guarde el
manual en un lugar seguro.

Atención: Mantenga alejado este modulador de líquidos. No lo instale cerca de lugares que contienen agua.
Existe un gran riesgo de descarga eléctrica cuando un líquido o humedad excesiva entran en el interior del
modulador. No instale otros dispositivos encima, pueden provocar un recalentamiento del equipo y riesgo de
incendio. Por favor, lea atentamente el manual, y si tiene dudas consulte con su distribuidor.
Cualquier apertura en el modulador anula completamente la garantía.
Instalación:
1. Respetar las ranuras de ventilación del equipo sin cubrirlas con ningún tipo de objeto.
2. Mantener libre de obstáculos alrededor del equipo, mínimo un radio de 40 cm.
3. No situar el equipo cerca de ninguna fuente de calor.
4. No someta al equipo a temperaturas que excedan el rango de funcionamiento del aparato.
5. Evitar ubicaciones con posibilidad de que se viertan líquidos en el interior y con cambios importantes de
temperatura.
6. Nunca abra el equipo usted mismo por riesgos de electrocución. En caso de problemas, acuda siempre a
técnicos cualificados.
7. No abrir en ningún caso con el equipo conectado a la red eléctrica.
8. Durante el conexionado es preferible que el equipo esté desconectado de la red eléctrica.
9. Respete las normas de seguridad eléctrica durante el montaje. Utilice materiales que cumplan con la
normativa vigente.
10. La clavija de conexión debe estar accesible de un modo rápido y simple para una rápida desconexión.
11. Nunca toque el enchufe con las manos mojadas. Así mismo, desconecte siempre el aparato antes de
manipular las conexiones.
12. No ponga ningún objeto pesado sobre el equipo puesto que podría estropearse.
Limpieza: Antes de limpiar la carcasa del modulador con un paño ligeramente húmedo, desconecte el
modulador de la corriente y de todos los demás accesorios. Utilice en caso de ser necesario productos de
limpieza suaves, como limpiadores de discos etc.
Accesorios: No use accesorios que no estén específicamente aprobados por el fabricante del modulador.
Los accesorios no aprobados pueden aumentar el riesgo de incendio, descargas eléctricas y otros daños.
Emplazamiento: Elija un lugar con la suficiente circulación de aire, de lo contrario, pueden aparecer
acumulaciones excesivas de calor.
Conexión a la corriente: Elija un enchufe de fácil acceso para que en el caso necesitar desenchufarlo
pueda hacerlo de manera rápida y cómoda. Verifique que el cable y la clavija estén en buen estado. No tire
del cable, tire siempre de la clavija.
Cubierta: Asegúrese siempre que ningún líquido pueda penetrar por los orificios de la carcasa, si esto
ocurriese, desconéctelo inmediatamente de la corriente y lleve el modulador a un técnico especialista.
Humedad ambiental: Si traslada el modulador de un sitio frío a uno caliente, espere a que el modulador se
ponga a la temperatura ambiente para evitar problemas de condensación de la humedad.
Mantenimiento y reparación: Durante el tiempo de garantía, toda reparación la ha de hacer el personal
autorizado. En caso contrario, se perderá la garantía.

2 Contenido de la caja
Cuando abra la caja por primera vez, encontrará los siguientes artículos:

3 Descripción del equipo
Este equipo permite conectar a su entrada HDMI, la señal audio/video en HD de un
receptor de satélite, un sistema de vigilancia, u otro equipo con salida HDMI compatible,
para modularla en DVB-T y enviarla por su salida de RF OUT a una distribución de cable
coaxial. Con ello, podremos ver la señal en varios televisores simultáneamente. Dispone
también de una entrada de RF, por la que podremos combinar las señales terrestres
recibidas desde la antena con el canal emitido de este modulador en su salida de RF.
Además posee una salida de HDMI que permite ver la señal de audio/video en un
televisor cercano al modulador.

9. INDICADORES LUMINOSOS:
a. POWER: Encendido indica que el equipo tiene alimentación.
b. HD: Se enciende, si el equipo detecta una señal de A/V en su entrada HDMI.
c. MODE: Está encendido cuando se está modificando los ajustes del
modulador. Está apagado en modo normal de funcionamiento.

10.TECLADO: Estos botones permite la edición de los parámetros del modulador
a. OK. Pulse este botón para entrar en el modo edición, confirma el valor o
vuelve al modo normal de operación.
b. ◄► En el modo edición nos permite avanzar entre parámetros mostrados
en el display.
c. ▲▼ Use arriba y abajo para cambiar el valor del parámetro que se está
editando.
d. EXIT. Finaliza la edición del parámetro actual o vuelve al modo normal de
operación.
4 Instalación
Conecte un cable HDMI entre la salida HDMI de la fuente audio/video en HD y la entrada
HDMI IN del modulador. Si es necesario, conecte a salida HDMI OUT del modulador a un
televisor mediante un cable HDMI. La salida RF debe conectarla a su instalación de cable
coaxial. En la entrada RF IN puede conectarla a su antena terrestre o a la salida terrestre
de una toma de televisión. Si no se usara el conector RF IN debe conectarle una carga de
75 Ωde tipo F. Conecte el jack de la fuente de alimentación suministrada a la entrada de
DC 12V del modulador y por último conectar la fuente de alimentación a una base de
enchufe.

5 Funcionamiento y configuración del modulador.
Al conectar la alimentación tras unos segundos aparecerá la versión del firmware del
modulador en el display. En el siguiente imagen se muestra la versión 3.16.

5.1 Modo operación normal
Unos segundos después de mostrar la versión del firmware se mostrará secuencialmente la
siguiente información:

Si no hay señal en la entrada HDMI IN, el modo HDMI se presentará como
5.2 Configuración
Primeramente pulse la tecla OK, el led “Mode” se encenderá e indicará que el modulador está
en el modo de edición de la configuración. Los parámetros que se pueden ajustar son: El
canal de salida, nivel de salida y valor del LNC.
Ajuste del canal de salida
Pulse las teclas ▲▼ para modificar el canal de salida del modulador. Los
valores posibles están entre CH05 al CH12 y del CH21 hasta el CH69.
Pulse el botón ►para editar el siguiente parámetro o pulse OK para confirma el valor y volver
al modo normal de funcionamiento del modulador.
Modificar el nivel de salida
Use los botones ▲▼ para cambiar el nivel de salida de RF del modulador. Los
valores posible están entre 75 y 110 dBµV.
Pulse el botón ►para editar el siguiente parámetro. Pulse el botón ◄para volver a editar el
parámetro anterior o pulse OK para confirmar el valor y volver al modo normal de
funcionamiento del modulador.
Cambiar el valor del L.C.N. (Logical Channel Number)
Pulse OK y empezará a parpadear el dígito más a la izquierda del número,
indicando que es el digito a modificar. Use las teclas ◄► para cambiar de
dígito. Pulse los botones ▲▼ para modificar el valor de cada digito.
Pulse OK para confirmar el nuevo valor.
Los valores de L.C.N. posibles van entre 0 y 999. Si se selecciona un número mayor de 999,
el modulador guardará el valor máximo permitido 999 tras pulsar OK.
Pulse el botón ►para editar nuevamente el valor del canal, pulse la tecla ◄para volver a
editar el parámetro anterior o pulse Exit para volver al modo normal de funcionamiento.

1 Safety Rules
Please read the manual carefully before using the modulator.
You will receive a lot of information to use this product correctly and you will prevent incidents.
Please keep the manual on a safe place.
This sign warns you about

Caution
: Do not open the housing of this
modulator. Repairs can only be made by
professionals authorized by Fte maximal.
If not, warranty will not be valid anymore.
This sign informs about
special information which is
important to know.
Caution: Keep this modulator far away from liquids. Do not place it on placements close to water like
flowers vases, wash basin, aquariums or pools. There is a great risk of electric shock when liquid or
excessive moisture enters the interior of the modulator. Never place other devices on it; they can overheat
the modulator as well as daring fire risk. The modulator must be used only with original power supply.
Please read carefully this manual and do not hesitate to contact to professional help if you have any
doubt.
Opening the modulator housing will mean a warranty void.
Installation:
1. Respect the ventilation holes of the equipment without covering them with any object.
2. Keep clear the environment of the equipment, with a minimum ratio of 40 cm.
3. Do not place the equipment close to any heating source.
4. Do not make the equipment work at any temperature that exceeds the range of working temperatures.
5. Avoid placements with risk of dumping liquids inside and with big changes in temperature.
6. Never open the equipment by yourself, due to risk of electrocution. In case of problems, please get always
qualified technicians.
7. Never open the equipment while it is plugged to the power socket.
8. It is preferable that the equipment is disconnected during the connection of it.
9. Respect the safety electrical rules during the installation. Use the materials that perform the current
regulations.
10. The connection plug must be accessible in an easy and simple mode, and always to get a fast disconnection.
11. Never touch the power network plug with wet hands. Disconnect always the equipment before handling its
connections.
12. Do not place any heavy object over the equipment, due to it could get damaged.
Cleaning: Before cleaning the modulator with a slightly damped cloth, please disconnect the main 230 Vac connection
from the modulator. Please use only mild cleaners.
Accessories: Please, do not use accessories which are not agreed by the manufacturer of the modulator.
Unsuitable accessories could increase the risk of getting on fire, an electrical impact or other damages.
Placement: Select a placement where the modulator has air circulation enough; otherwise it may have overheating
accumulation.
Power connection: Select a main plug with easy access, in case of unplugging necessity; it will be easier and faster.
Please, make sure that the cord as well as the plug is in perfect conditions. Do not pull the cable, use always the plug.
Housing: Please, make sure that no liquid will filter into the housing of the modulator. If so, disconnect immediately the
modulator from the main 230 Vac plug and bring the modulator to a professional.
Air humidity: When you take the Modulator from a cold to a warm place, please wait until the modulator gets the same
temperature as the new environment, in order to avoid problems of humidity condensation.
Maintenance / Repairing: Within the warranty time all the repairing processes should be done by Fte Maximal
technical staff. Otherwise, the warranty will be lost.

2 Content of the box
When you open the box or the first time, you will find the following content:

3 Description
This device allow connect in the HDMI input the Audio/video signal HD from a satellite
receiver, a surveillance system or other equipment with HDMI output compatible and
modulate in DVB-T in his RF Output to send to a coaxial distribution to see in several TV.
The modulator has a RF input to mix the signal of the terrestrial aerial received with the
output DVB-T channel in the RF output. It has a loop HDMI output to connect a TV using
a HDMI cable.

confirm the new value of the parameter.

b. ◄► In edit setting mode use Left/Right buttons to select the parameter to
change the value.
c. ▲▼ Use Up/down button to change the value of the current parameter in
edition mode.
d. EXIT. Store the last edition operation or return to the operation mode.
4 Installation
Connect a HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the HD audio / video source to the input
HDMI IN of the modulator. If necessary, connect the HDMI OUT to a TV using an HDMI
cable. The RF output must be connected to your coaxial cable distribution. Connect the
input RF IN to your terrestrial antenna or your terrestrial TV socket. If the RF IN connector
is not used, you must connect a 75 Ωtype F load. Connect the jack of the external power
supply to the input DC 12V of the modulator and finally connect the power supply to a
power socket.

5 Modulator operation and configuration
Some second after power on the modulator, in the display appear the firmware version. In the
next picture show the version 3.16 in the display.

5.1 Normal operation mode
A few seconds after displaying the firmware version, the following information will be displayed
sequentially:

If the input HDMI IN has not video signal the HDMI mode will be show as
5.2 Configuration
First press the OK key, the led “Mode” will light up, indicating that the modulator is in the
editing mode of the configuration. The parameters that can be adjusted are: The output
channel, the output level and the L.C.N. value.
Set the output channel
Press the buttons ▲▼ to modify the output channel of the modulator. The
possible values are from CH05 to CH12 and from CH21 to CH69.
Press ►to edit the next parameter or press OK to confirm the value and return to the normal
operation of the modulator.
Modifying the output level
Use the buttons ▲▼ to select the output level of the modulator. The values of
the output level are between 75 and 110 dBµV.
Press ►to edit the next parameter, Press ◄to edit the previous parameter or press OK to
confirm the value and return to the normal operation of the modulator.
Set the value of the L.C.N. (Logical Channel Number)
Press OK and the digit furthest to the left of the number will begin to flash,
indicating that it is the digit to be modified. Use the buttons ◄► to select another
digit of the number. Use the buttons ▲▼ to change the value of the number.
Press OK to confirm the new value and finish the edition of the L.C.N.
The possible values of L.C.N. are between 0 and 999. If try to set a number higher than 999,
the modulator store the higher value allowed “999” after press the button OK.
Press the button ►to edit the value of the channel, press the button ◄to return to the
previous parameter or press Exit to return to the normal operation mode.
