PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
HM-618EB & HM-620EB dehumidifier is equipped with microcomputer that provides a low
noise, energy-saving, multiple functions, simple and efficient operation. It is suitable to use
mostly in indoor environment; office, living room, studio, laboratory etc. It can also be used
for drying clothes, protecting electronic equipment and high-end furniture from the humid
environment. DY-618EB gives you a pleasant living environment.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTIC
1. Indoor humidity is regulated between RH 40%~90%.
2. Protection against tank-full, frostbite and delay start-up
compressor.
3. Indicator light for tank-full, operation, defrost and humidity.
4. Easy to pull out and washable filter.
5. Electronic humidity indicator which indicate ambient relative
humidity when it is operating.

Function of Dehumidifier
The function of dehumidifier:
1. When the dehumidifier is in operation, the fan draws indoor air to the cold cooling coils
and then over the warm condenser coils.
2. Indoor air will condense over the cooling coils which moisture will form.
3. The moisture on the coils will drip from the coils to the water tank.
4. The indoor dry air continues to flow through the warm condenser coils.
OPERATION INSTRUCTION

Temperature switch reference
Open
1. Set the Humidity Setting (On/Off switch) to the off.
2. Connect the plug to the socket.
3. Set the Humidity Setting (On/Off switch) to the desired humidity rate, and it’ll start
to work and temperature will be monitored automatically.
Water tank
1. When the water tank is full, the indicator light will
show (compressor and fan will stop running).
2. Pull out the water tank and empty it.
3. Place it back into the unit. (as picture)
Continuous drainage (if continuous dehumidify
please continuous drainage as follows)
1. Pull out water tank
2. Remove rubber cap on the drainage outlet
at the back of unit (as picture)
3. Connect the drainage hose to the drainage
outlet at the back of the unit
4. Place water tank into the unit
5. Set the Humidity Setting (On/Off switch) to
the “Continue” and it starts to operate.
6. The diameter of drainage hose is 10 mm.
Turn off
1. Set the Humidity Setting (On/Off switch) to off.
2. Cut off the power if unit is not in use.

Notice
1. Dehumidifier unit will not run if the temperature setting is higher than the actual
temperature.
2. When the water-tank is full, compressor and fan will turn off automatically. Empty
the water tank in order to run it.
3. The compressor delay start-up for 3 minutes i.e. compressor will run after 3 minutes
of fan start-up
4. The compressor and the fan will turn off automatically when the indoor temperature
reaches the setting temperature.
5. When unit finished defrost, the compressor will turn off but the fan will run.
6. If the temperature sensor or humidity sensor is malfunction, the compressor and the
fan will turn off automatically; the operating light will show every two second.
