REMOTE INTERFACE FOR
MICROSOL II PLUS AND MICROSOL II POWER
5 - FUNCTION MENU

The function menu allows configuring Microsol II controller functions remotely. To access the function
menu press and keys simultaneously for two seconds until the functions are shown in the
display. To access any function and confirm the value press ; to go back to the previous menu or to
leave any function without confirming press . The following options are available in the function
menu:
1- DESCRIPTION
Wall-Link is an interface intended to be used together with Microsol II plus from version 2 and

Microsol II power from version 1. It enables easy and quick remote access to all Microsol II
information and setup.

2 - APPLICATION
Solar heating controlling.

5.1 - Access code

The access code 123 must be entered in this screen to enable changing functions of Microsol II
controller. To enter the code press on the message and adjust the value that will be blinking on the
display. Press again to confirm; to cancel and go back press .
5.2 - Functions

In this screen all functions of Microsol II can be adjusted. To make changes press on the desired
function and enter the value that will be blinking on the display. Press again to confirm the new
value; to cancel and go back press .
5.3 - Event scheduling mode
(1)
The operating mode of Microsol II event scheduling can be programmed from this screen.
5.4 - Event scheduling
The schedule of the instrument can be viewed and changed by accessing this function with the key .
To inform or change the configuration press on the option corresponding to the event and day of the
week. Adjust the time of beginning and end of the event using the and keys, press to
confirm the new value; to cancel and go back press .
To go back or to leave the options press at any time.
5.5 - Clock adjustment

To adjust the internal clock of Microsol II select this function by pressing . Then adjust the values
using the and and press to confirm or to cancel.

6 - QUICK ACCESS MENU
The quick access menu allows configuring the setpoints of supports 1 and 2, as well as the manual
operating modes and the overheating temperature for sensor 2. To access this menu, press shortly
while Wall-Link main screen is displayed. To access any function and confirm the value press ; to

The following options are available in the function menu:
6.1- Auxiliary output 1 setpoint
This function allows adjusting the control temperature for auxiliary output 1.
6.2 - Auxiliary output 2 setpoint
This function allows adjusting the control temperature for auxiliary output 2.
6.3 - Sensor 2 overheating temperature
This function allows adjusting the overheating temperature for sensor 2. When applied to swimming
pools this is the limit temperature of the water (comfort temperature)
6.4 - Water pump operating mode
This function allows adjusting the manual operating mode of the water pump.
6.5 - Auxiliary output 1 manual mode enable
The operating mode of the auxiliary 1 output can be toggled between manual and automatic by
pressing on this function.
6.6 - Auxiliary output 2 manual mode enable
The operating mode of the auxiliary 2 output can be toggled between manual and automatic by
pressing on this function. Note: This option will be only available for Microsol II plus from version
03 or Microsol II power from version 01.
6.7 - Viewing the minimum and maximum temperatures
(only available for Microsol II power)
Pressing the key in this function you can browse the minimum and maximum temperatures for
each sensor of Microsol II Power.
7 - ACCESS MENU FOR ADJUSTING THE CONNECTION

Upon accessing the quick access menu while Wall-Link is not connected to Microsol II , the user will
have two functions available for adjusting the address of the instrumet :

7.1 - McSol 485 Add (Microsol II address)

The address of Microsol II controller can be manually adjusted by entering this function. The value of

this function must be the same value configured in Microsol II .

7.2 - Search McSol (Search Microsol II )
(1)
Pressing on this function makes Wall-Link start searching for Microsol II address automatically.
Enter the quick access menu again to stop the automatic search.
8 - SETUP MENU
The operating characteristics of Wall-Link can be adjusted through the setup menu. To access the
function menu press and keys simultaneously for eight seconds until the functions are shown
in the display. The following options are available in the setup menu:

8.1 - McSol2 485 Add (Search Microsol II )

This function allows to manually adjusting the address of the Microsol II controller.

The value set for this function should be the same value set on the Microsol II .

8.3 - Descriptions

Allows to adjust the Microsol II sensors display message. The message selected will be used on the
Wall-Link main screen to indicate which temperature is being displayed.
8.5 - Statistics
This function allows viewing on-screen statistics on wired communication, by displaying the number of

errors in requesting data from the Microsol II (Scan Err) and the number of errors in sending
functions (Rx Err).

Pressing the key repeatedly you can view other information from the Microsol II . The selected
visualization will remain on the display for 10 seconds and after this time it will return to the main screen.
The options available are:

11 - TEMPERATURE UNIT EXCHANGE
(only available for Microsol II power)
To set the temperature unit that the Microsol II power will operate, access the function menu and enter
the access code "231. By confirming this value the interface will display the choice of temperature unit
.

9.1 - Auxiliary output 1 manual mode enable
Keep pressing the key for 5 seconds until the message Aux1 Man Mode appears in the display.
Then release the key to activate or deactivate manually the auxiliary output 1.
9.2 - Auxiliary output 2 manual mode enable
Keep pressing the key for 5 seconds until the message Aux2 Man Mode appears in the display.
Then release the key to activate or deactivate manually the auxiliary output 2.
9.3 - Auxiliary output 1 setpoint
Keep pressing the key for 10 seconds until the message Aux1 Setpoin ppears in the display. Then
release the key to et the temperature setpoint of the auxiliary output 1, confirm with the key .
9.4 - Auxiliary output 2 setpoint
Keep pressing the key for 10 seconds until the message Aux2 Setpoin ppears in the display. Then
release the key to et the temperature setpoint of the auxiliary output 2, confirm with the key .
9.5 - Sensor 2 overheating temperature
Keep pressing the key for 5 seconds until the message Overheatng S2 appears in the display.
Then release the key to set the overheating temperature for sensor 2.

This shortcut is used when the remote Microsol II is installed for swimming pool heating control. In this
case, the function adjusts the maximum temperature of the swimming pool for comfort.
9.6 - Water pump operating mode
Keep pressing the key for 10 seconds until the message Pump Activat appears in the display.
Then release thekey to adjust the water pump activation mode.
