Safety precautions
・Please read carefully before use. Be sure to follow these instructions. After reading this manual, be sure to
keep it carefully.
・The precautions listed below are to prevent risk of harm to the user and others, as well as to prevent property
damage. Be sure to follow these instructions.
・The following classifications describe the extent of harm or damage in the case of improper handling.
This content indicates risk of death or serious injury to the user in
the case of improper handling.

physical property in the case of improper handling.
Danger
○
＼Do not install the antenna on a windy day or a bad weather day because it is dangerous.
Especially, do not install the antenna or connect the antenna cable when there is a possibility of lightning
strike.
Caution
○
＼Do not drop the antenna or subject it to strong shocks.
○
＼Do not put excessive force on the antenna or allow it to hang.
○
＼Do not scrape or damage the surface of the antenna with hard objects.
○
＼To clean the surface of the antenna, wipe it lightly with a soft cloth moistened with water or a thin
solution of neutral detergent. Do not use thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc. as they will damage the surface.
○
＼Do not turn any screws or bolts other than for assembly or adjustment.
○
＼Do not install near strong radio wave sources such as radios.
○
＼When setting up two or more antennas next to each other, it is recommended that the antennas be
separated by at least 1 meter.

！Be sure to use the specified antenna cable, as it transmits high frequency signals.
●
！Be sure to use the specified antenna mounting bracket.
●
！Check the antenna pole as necessary to prevent it from breaking or falling due to rust or other damage.
●
！Some buildings may have restrictions on installation. Please be sure to check before installation.
●
！If the installation location is made of aluminum, it may not be able to be installed depending on the
strength and other factors. In the case of iron or other materials, make sure that they are not corroded.
When installing the product, be sure to consider safety and reliability.

1 Propose
This document shows the installation procedure for the following GNSS antenna: GPA-014.
2 Materials
(1) GNSS Antenna: GPA-014
(2) Mast mounting bracket: CP20-00403（Separately sold）

3 Installation Procedure
(1) Connect the BNC(P) connector of the antenna to the BNC(J) connector.
・Connect the connectors straight to each other and lock them so they do not come off
(2) Fix the connector part with self-bonding tape.
・Hold the metal part to avoid giving strong force to the coaxial cable.
・Roll the self-bonding tape from the center of the connector toward one end, rolling it tightly.
When one end is completely covered with the tape, roll the tape toward the other end without gaps.
・When the other end is also completely covered with tape, roll the tape to the position where you started and
cut the tape. Be sure to cut the tape with a cutter or scissors.
(3) Wrap the connector part already wrapped with the self-bonding tape with more vinyl tape.
・The order of wrapping the vinyl tape is the same as for the self-bonding tape.
・In order to maintain the adhesive property of the tape, do not pull the vinyl tape too tightly and roll it without
gaps.
・Do not tear the tape and cut it with a cutter or scissors.

(4) Fix the GPA-014 to the prop.
・For fixing, use the CP-20-00403 installing spacer and two hose clamps
・The mounting prop that fits the hose clamp is φ25-70mm.
・Place the installing spacer between the GPA-014 and the prop, and tighten with the hose clamp to fix it.
・The hose clamp becomes tightened by turning clockwise the red circle in the figure with a slotted
screwdriver.
・Tighten the hose clamp until the GPA-014 and the installing spacer are fixed to the prop.
・Fix the excess part of the hose clamp with a cable tie.
