Installation
Before
any
wiring
and
installation

recommends
you

Appropriate
mounting
is
very
important
for
prolonged
life
expectancy
of
any
amplifier
.
Select
a
location
that
allows
enough
space
for
sufficient
airflow
to
be
maintained.
Excessive
heat
will
shorten
the
amplifiers
life.
To
maximize
heat
dissipation,
be
sure
to
leave
at
least
2.5
inches
of
clearance
around
the
amplifier.
Installation Warning

vessels

12V
lead

removed

battery
before
any
equipment
is
connected

marine

fuel
tanks
and
electrical
wiring
locations
before
you
begin
installation

wiring

When
wiring
the
FUSION
amplifier,
ensure
that
the
wires
are
away
from
sharp
objects
and
that
rubber
grommets
and
insulated
bungs
are
used
when
routing
the
wiring
.
Ensure
that
when
connecting
the
wires
to
the
speakers
and
audio
system,
the
terminals
and
connections
are
protected
from
shorting
to
each
other.

Ensure before any connection is made to the amplifier or source unit, that you turn the audio system off. Failure to
do so could result in either the stock system or your new FUSION product being damaged.
FUSION will not warranty damaged amplifiers due to incorrect installation.
Ground
When grounding your FUSION Amplifier locate a metal area close to the amplifier that is a good source of ground .
Use either a wire brush or sandpaper to eliminate unwanted paint, rust and corrosion. This will allow a better
contact for your ground. Use the same gauge cable for the ground as you did for the power. Secure the ground
cable using a solid connection. Spread silicon over the screw and bare metal to prevent corrosion.

Power
FUSION amplifiers should be wired directly to the vessels battery using the appropriate sized cable. Start at the
vessels battery and run the power cable through to the amplifier. FUSION recommends the use of grommets when
passing the power cable through any metal I fibre glass walls, and to avoid sharp corners that may easily cut
through the insulation on the cable.
The use of an inline fuse at the battery position is essential. This will prevent the risk of a potential fire caused by
a short circuit in your power cable. Connect the fuse holder as close to the battery positive terminal as possible.
You may now connect the cable to the battery, but remember to leave the fuse out or circuit breaker off until all
other cable connections are made.
Avoid running the power cable over engine components.
Remote Turn On
This wire must be connected to a switched + 12V source, if the 'J\uto On/Off" switch is located in the Off position.
Typically, remote turn-on leads are provided at the head unit which will turn the amplifier on/off in correspondence
with the source. If the head unit does not have a remote turn-on lead then a switched + 12V supply can be used,
like the ACC + 12V or alternatively turn the 'J\uto On/Off" switch to the ON position.
Auto ON/Off
The Auto On/Off switch allows an easy solution ifa REMOTE wire cannot be used. When "ON" is selected the
amplifier will turn on when an audio signal is detected from the source, when no signal is present the amplifier will
automatically shut down after 1 minute. When Off position is selected a Remote Switched + 12V supply must be
used as described above.
Speaker Wiring
Choose the correct speaker wire for your application. Most applications will require a minimum of 16 gauge. Route
the speaker wire using the same precautions you did when you ran the power cables. Terminate these wires at
the speaker end using insulated speaker terminals (not supplied) or by soldering the connection. Make sure the
speaker connections are positive to positive and negative to negative. Ensure you have maintained the rorrect
polarity and balance. ·
Speaker Load
The Marine Zone amplifier requires a minimum impedance of 2 Ohms STEREO (per channel) to operate trouble free.
WARNING: The Amplifier CANNOT operate MONO!!!!! (bridged) This will result in damage to the amplifier
Low Level Inputs
Choose the correct length and style of RCA interconnects for your needs.
Avoid running your RCA's near large wire looms and electric fans if possible. Be sure to check for correct balance.
(Red is right channel and Black or White is left channel).
Low Level Outputs
Use these RCA output connectors to connect to a secondary amplifier.

De beperkte garantie voor
het gekochte Fusion-product beperkt zich tot de eerste twaalf [ 12) maanden vanaf de aankoopdatum van h et pr o duct .
De beperkte garantie
geldt uitsluitend voor de originele aanschaf door de consumen t van het product en kan niet worden toegewezen of overgedragen aan enige
daaropvolgende koper/eindgebruiker.

beperkte garantie is uitsluitend geldig in een land [of gebied)
dat door Fusion bedoeld is voor ve rkoop van het product.
Tijdens de beperkte-garantieperiode zal Fusion
of haar geautoriseerde servicenetwerk elk defect product of onderdelen daarvan (naar keuze van Fusion) repareren of
door nieuw vervangen en het product in we rkende staat aan de consument reto urneren . De consument zal ni ets hoeven te betalen voor de onderdelen of de
arbeidskosten voor
het repareren of vervangen van het product. Aile vervangen onderdelen en kosmetische onderdelen moeten op het moment van verzending vrij zijn
van defect.en en vallen
daarom niet onder de voorwaarden van deze beperkte garantie.
Het gerepareerde product wordt gegarandeerd voor de resterende dagen van de originele garantieperiode of gedurende negentig [90) dagen na de datum van
reparatie, wat het langste is.
Aile garantieclaims moeten vergezeld gaan van een kopie van
dit garantiebewijs en een kopie van het bewijs va n de aankoopdatum.
De
consument haeft geen dekking of voordelen krachtens deze beperkte garantie indien een van de volgende omstandigheden zich voordoet:
• Het product heeft blootgestaan aan: abnormaal gebruik, abnorma le omstandigheden, verkeerde opslag, niet-geautoriseerde wijzigingen, niet-geautoriseerde

handelingen die
waar Fusion geen controle over heeft, zoals gebreken aan verbruiksonderdelen zeals zekeringen, en breuk of schade aan antennas tenzij deze
rechtstreeks zijn veroorzaa kt door materiaal- of fabricagefouten, en de normale slijtage van het product .
Fusion was
niet door de consument ingelicht over het beweerde defect of beweerde slechte werking van het product tijdens de geldende beperkte-garantieperiode.
Het productserienummer of de datumcode op het accessoire is verwijderd, onleesbaar gemaakt of veranderd.
Het product is gebruikt met of aangesloten op een accessoire dat niet door Fusion is meegeleverd of niet geschikt is voor gebruik met het Fusion-product, of gebruikt op
een wijze
anders dan het bedoelde gebruik.
Als er tijdens de beperkte-garantieperiode een probleem ontstaat, moet de consument de volgende stapsgewijze procedure volgen:
1. De consument zal het product voor reparatie of vervanging naar de plaats van aankoop terugbrengen .
2. Eventuele onderdelen of arbeidskosten die
niet door deze beperkte garantie worden gedekt zijn ook voor rekening van de consument . De consument is verantwoordelijk
voor- de kosten in verband met herinstallatie van het product .
3. Als
het product na afloop van de garantieperiode aan Fusion wordt geretoumeerd, zal het normale servicebeleid van Fusion gelden en worden de consument
dienovereenkomstig kosten berekend.

terms and conditions:
The initial limited warranty for the FUSict.J product purchased extends to the first 12 months beginning on the date of purchase of the product
The limited warra nty extends onty to the original consumer purchaser {consumer) of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/
end user.
The limited
warranty extends only to consumers who purchase the product in one of the coun tries (or areas) set forth on W'vVW.fusionelectronics.com. The limited
warranty is only valid in FUSION's intended country (or area) of sale of the product.
During
the limited warranty period, FUSION or its authorised service network will repair or replace (at FUSION's discretion). any defective product or parts thereof
with new and return the product to the consumer in working condition. No charge will be made to the consumer for either parts or labour in repairing or replacing
the product . All replaced parts and cosmetic parts should be free of defects at the time of shipment and, therefore shall not be covered under these limited wa rranty
tenns.
Repaired product will be warr anted for the balance of the original wa rranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer .
All
warranty claims must be accompanied with a copy of this wan-anty card , and a copy of proof of purchase.
The consumer shall have no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable:
• The
product has been subject to : abnormal use. abnormal conditions, improper storage, unauthorised modifications, unauthorised connections. unauthorised repair
including
but not limited to use of unauthorised spare parts in repairs , misuse. neglect, abuse, accident , alteration, impr oper installation, acts of God, spill of foods
or liquids, maladjustment of customer controls or other acts which are beyond the reasonable control of FUSION. including deficiencies in consumable parts such as
fuses, and breakage
or damage to antennae unless caused directly by defects in materials or workmanship, and nor mal wear and tear of the product-.
FUSION was
not notified by the consumer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the product during the applicable limited warranty period.
The
product serial numbe r or the accessory date code has been removed, defaced or altered.
The
product was used with or connected to an accessory not supplied by FUSION or fit for use with FUSION product, or used in a manner other than its intended
use.
If a problem develops during the limited warranty period, the consumer should take the following step-by-step procedure:
1. The consumer shall return the product to any authorised FUSION dealer in authorised sales countries for repair or replacement processing. FUSION assumes no
freight
or shipping responsibility for returning goods to an authorised FUSION dealer, or reb.Jrn freight from an authorised dealer to the consumer submitting the
warranty claim.
2. The consumer shall be charged for any parts or labo ur charges not covered by this limited warranty . The consumer shall be responsible for expenses related to
removal and reinstallation of the product .
3. It the product is returned to FUSION after the expiration of the warranty period, FUSION'S normal service policies shall apply and the consumer will be charged
accordingly.
THE BEI\EFITS CONFERRED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLY
TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY ARE NOT SUPERCEDED BY ANY OTHER RIGHTS AND REMEDIES UNDER
ANY APPLICABLE LEGISLATION THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED. OTHERWISE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS EXCLUDED AND THE

This warrant is given in addition to other rights and remedies available to the consumer under Australian Consumer law. In addition to the Fusion
Warranty our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund
for a major failure and for compensation for any others reasonabty foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
