INFORMATION FOR USERS
Protective helmet model GP 3000 dielectric. (Distributor model: 2402-BB, 4310 001 XXX 00)

1. Certification: This helmet meets the standard EN 397 and safety requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC. Certification
carried out by Notified Body No. 0497 CSI, in Lombardia 20, 20021 Bollate (Milan).
2. Fitting and adjustment: Length of parietal arc must be adjusted so that the helmet fits well on the head to provide proper
protection. To regulate the size of the helmet use the main circumferential strap of the headband. To set the desired
circumference press pins into the holes of the tape. On both sides of the tape there are fixing hinges for fixing the chin strap.
3. Usage: The helmet is intended to protect the top of the user's head against injury from falling objects. This helmet fulfills the
optional requirement for electrical isolation of 440 Vac. The purpose of this requirement is to protect the helmet´s user in short,
incidental contact with electrical wires on an AC voltage to 440 V.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance: The helmet must be cleaned with non-aggressive cleaning agents and warm water (water
temperature not exceeding 50°C). Protect the helmet from contact with liquids or aerosols containing solvents, acids or alcohol,
they can reduce the resistance of the helmet.
5. Check before use: Before use, check the helmet if not damaged. In case of discovery of cracks or other damage to the helmet,
replace the helmet immediately. If the helmet underwent a powerful hit, must be replaced even if there are any signs of damage
on the helmet. Before each use, make sure that the cross is well fixed in the helmet and the helmet fits properly.
6. Life of helmet and its components is 5 years from the date of manufacture. The helmet shall not be used after five years from
date of manufacture stamped on the helmet. Date of manufacture is formed as follows: internal number indicates the year, arrow
indicates month of production.
7. Storage, transportation: If the helmet is not in use, store it in a clean and dry environment at room temperature in the
uncontaminated environment where it can not be damaged.
Helmets for transportation are packaged in plastic containers. Do not expose the protective helmet to direct sunlight or high
temperatures, such as the car's dashboard or on the windowsill.
8. Spare Parts: For this type of helmet, the following components and spare parts are available: spare cross, sweat band.
9. Accessories: Chin strap, ear-muffs EP 167 (2301-46), polycarbonate shield VC 85 (2402-31), wire Shield VM85 (2402-30),
shield holder H867 (2402-29). For further information about the possibility of compatibility with other types of products please
refer to the distributor.
10. Complete head protection: If you use the helmet along with other protective equipment, it is important that all the components
of the helmet fit together without impeding comfort and convenience required during using of the various system components. It
is very important that the hearing protector has enough space to fit comfortably on your ears. In other words, the helmet should
not fit too low, or the place for hearing protectors must be cut out. A combination of helmet with visor must also be sufficiently
functional in terms of distance from your face, focus, vision, sealing, etc. This helmet can be equipped with other accessories
such as earmuffs, visor ... With this helmet you can only use approved hearing protectors, which meet the requirements set out
in European standard EN 352-3. Weight of the helmet: gr.320.
11. Disposal: Helmets with expired life the user must destroy and prevent its further use - preferably by by cutting the part
encircling the head by head insert in two places. Devalued helmets can be given to purchasing organizations for processing as a
secondary raw material or put them in the appropriate waste containers.
CAUTION
Do not modify the helmet or its construction. Do not use the helmet, if it appears to be damaged. Do not paint the helmet.
The use of the helmet is limited to industrial environments such as construction, road construction, work in the woods or quarries.
Do not use the helmet in other environments than mentioned above.
All these helmets are CE marked to confirm compliance with the directives EC/686/89 - personal protective equipment.
