Pre-Filter
The product’s primary filtration system uses a mesh filter located in
the pre-filter. It is mainly used for filtering dust larger than 5 microns,
including large dust particles, dander, pollen, floating debris and
other pollutants. It can be washed and used repeatedly.
High-Eciency HEPA Filter
The high-eciency HEPA filter captures airborne germs, smoke and
dust particles 0.3 microns in size, at a rate of 99% or more. In
combination with the multifunctional filter, the HEPA filter can capture
microscopic particles larger than 20 nanometers in diameter,
including bacterial mold, dust, allergens and some viruses, while also
filtering out smoke.
Activated Carbon Filter
Activated carbon traps odor-causing volatile organic compounds like
formaldehyde from the air. Activated carbon is a porous material,
which means that molecules like formaldehyde and other Volatile
Organic Compounds get adsorbed to it, eliminating them from the air.
These compounds mostly come from paints, newly installed furniture
and carpets, as well as cooking.
