Model P2002 Air Purification Unit
USERS GUIDE
GENERAL USE GUIDELINES
Congratulations on your purchase of the AtmosAir P2002 air
purication unit! The AtmosAir system uses advanced ionization
technology to provide superior air quality in indoor environments.
The guidelines below are provided to assist you in your use and
enjoyment of this product.
Choosing a Location
The P2002 unit should be placed approx, 4’ to 6’ off the oor in an area unobstructed
to the area intended for use. The unit should not be placed against a wall so that
airow into and out of the unit can occur.
Setting the Controls
Setting the Controls: The P2002 unit was designed to treat areas with severe odor
or contamination issues for up to 1500 square feet of indoor space with an 8 foot
ceiling. Once you have determined the size of your area, set the fan and ion controls
in correlation to the size. For example; for a 750 square foot area, set ionization level at
the #2 setting and fan speed about 3/4 to full power. Generally it will take a day or two
to notice the ionization effect as the unit begins to disinfect pollutants that may have
built up over time. Pollutant level also has an affect on settings, for example harsher
more odorous environments will require higher ionization setting in less space, than
less odorous environments. Also in harsher environments the ionization tubes may
need to be cleaned every six (6) months. Your local AtmosAir representative can
provide this service for you, or instruct you on how to do it. If after set up and running
for a few days you notice a “sweet or metallic smell” this is an indication of too many
ions. Simply adjust the ion control knob back until the desired effect is achieved.
General Usage
The P2002 system was designed to run continuously. There is no need to switch the
unit on and off. With required tube changes and lter replacements, this unit should
provide many years of trouble free operation.
CAUTION The ionization tube utilizes high voltage. Never attempt to open the back of
the cabinet or handle the tube or any interior components, without rst switching off
the unit and disconnecting the power cord.

Setup
After unpacking the P2002 unit and
removing the protective bag, place the
unit in its desired location. Plug the
female end of the supplied power cord
into the power cord plug (5) and the other
end into a standard 110V receptacle.
Powering the Unit
Push the power switch (6) located on
the rear of the unit to the downward
position. This will turn the unit on.
Adjusting Fan Speed
Turn the fan speed control knob (2)
clockwise to increase fan speed and
counterclockwise to decrease. The fan
speed control has a variable control and
moves from off up to high.
Adjusting Ion Level
Turn the ion level control knob (3)
clockwise to increase ionization level
and counterclockwise to decrease. The
ion level control has ve settings, with
the rst setting being no ionization.
When the ionization is activated
the power light (1) will illuminate to
indicate the ionization is on.

Fuses
Each unit comes equipped two (2) fuses. If the unit
should suddenly stop working a blown fuse may be the
cause. Please replace with two (2) 1 amp rated fuses.
You can obtain these from you local Clean Air Group
Distributor, or at a local electronics supply store.
Unit Filter
Each unit is equipped with a lter (7) located in the
rear of the unit to trap incoming particles. Check and
clean this lter regularly. You can use a small vacuum
to clean off accumulated debris or wash the lter
with running water and let dry completely. The lter
should be replaced at least yearly or possibly sooner
depending on it’s condition. You can purchase these
from your local AtmosAir distributor.
Ionization Tube
The AtmosAir system produces ions by means of a
tube(s) contained within the unit. This tube has a one
year life expectancy and will need to be replaced.
Simply ll out and mail the replacement tube order
form. Instructions on how to replace the tube will be
included. A new lter will be included as well. Your
local AtmosAir distributor can also arrange for a trained
technician to perform this service for you if you prefer.
