Place the Volatimeter over the Tenamatic (see backwards photo).
Join a silicone tube from the outflow of the cooler to the inox tube of the inox arc.
Connect with the bridge power cable from the left backward plug of the Tenamatic to the power
plug of the Volatimeter.
Prepare the flask with 11ml of sample to analyze, 1-2 granules of siliconed pumice stone and
place it over the Volatimeter heater.
Open the water key to cool theVolatimeter.
Switch on the Tenamatic backward’s connector and make sure that the one from Volatimeter is
also switched on (1 position).The front of the Tenamatic will shine in cyan color [0 state]
Connect the power cable from the right backward plug from the Tenamatic to the network.
Change or place a clean and dry tube in the 3.2ml location.

Press the front button once, the front light will shine in dark blue colour . In this state
change or place a clean and dry tube in the 5.1ml location.
Press again the button and the front led will shine in red colour .At this state the sample
previously prepared starts heating.
After few minutes the sample will boil and distillation will begin. When level of 5.1ml is reached
the system will turn automatically 90º clockwise and [state 3] will begin, f
and will center 3.2ml tube under the center of the arc.

Observations
It is essential to always introduce clean and dry tubes.
Avoid drops in tubes’ locations, when placing one tube will wet the sensor and this will induce
errors in the system.
If by chance the system detected drops from distillation stucked in the glass wall of the tubes,
this will try to eliminate them. If after 3 attempts it is not achieved the system will show error by
making a long pip and turning front led into blinking red.To get operative mode again just press
the button once [0 state], cyan led, then clean and dry tubes again.
If operation would like to be cancelled, in distillation mode (2 and 3 state), press the button
during 2 seconds.
In [0 state] press the button during 2 seconds to stop the system (standby mode).To wake up
standby mode just press the button once.
Also valid for distillators of single element by alcohol heater (see photo).
Once 3.2ml of sample are distilled the system will return automatically to [0 state] turning off
the heater and showing it by a double pip and with front led once again turning iinto cyan. At
this point the content of the 3.2ml tube can be titrated by introducing its content in an
erlenmeyer flask.
For a new analysis and place them again at their locations with the help
of the button repeating previous steps beginning from .
