Clinicial quick reference guide
GaitUp GO is a medical device indicated for mobility and physical condition parameter assessment in child, adolescent and adult patients suffering from mobility
disorders. It is also indicated for injury risk assessment in athletes of all age and for assessment of indicators of early-stage signs of diseases affecting motor
function.

To charge the Physilog6 sensor device, the following materials are needed:
✓Physilog 6 sensor device
✓USB cable (included in the packaging)
✓Computer or Mobile Phone Charger (Refer to the IFU for specifications of compatible Mobile Phone
Chargers)
Plug one end (UCB-C end) of the included USB charging cable into the Physilog6 sensor accessory and
the other (USB-A end) into a computer or a compatible mobile phone charger.

Note: The first time the Physilog6 sensor device is charged, allow it to charge for at least X hours, even if
the indicator light shows a full charge. The battery cannot overcharge.
Note: Physilog6 sensor device provides X hours of recording with Gait Up GO from a full charge under
normal operating conditions.

pen icon. To start with an assessment go
to “New session”.
Get started with GaitUp GO - First use
1Charge Physilog®6 device with the provided
USB-C cable.
The device can be charged on a computer or
using a mobile phone charger.

Download the Gait Up GO medical
device application from the App or
Google store (tablet or phone and iOS
or Android)
3Registration: go to “Sign Up”, fill the login
information (user id, email, password) and tap
“Save”.
Login to the App.
Link the Physilog6 sensor device to the
Gait Up Go Mobile Application: Introduce
the last 4 digits of the device serial
number (PHY-06-2020-01-NNNN)
Add participant: click on the “plus” icon. Fill
all the information about the participant and
click “Save”.

Get started with GaitUp GO –Normal use (1/ 2)
Fill the login information (user id,
password) and tap “Login”. Login to the
App.
Select a participant in the Dashboard. Start a “New session”.
Assign tests to the participant and «Start ».
Direct access to the results” is recommended
to be activated. In this way, reports can be
directly generated at the end of the test.
Test(s) previously assigned appear in
the app. Tap on the test to start. The
test will appear in green colour after it is
successfully completed.

The Physilog6 will connect automatically after
selecting the test if it has previously been
linked to the mobile application.
Follow carefully the instructions that appear
on the mobile application screen. The location
of the sensor device vary depending on the
test to be performed. Follow the instructions
shown on the screen and tap “Ready”
At the end of the test, save or discard the
result of the previous test.
A confirmation request appears to use
one credit to generate the report
NOTE: If the ”Direct access to the
results” is not activated the results will
be automatically saved in the phone and
the report can be generated later.

instructions on the mobile application.
Stop the test: some tests stop automatically
after performing the movement. If the test is
not listed below, tap “End” to stop the test.
NOTE: If the test did not stop automatically,
tap “End”.

Access the report later
If your account has enough credits, tap ”Confirm” to generate the report directly after the test.
To buy credits refer to Instruction for Use or contact [email protected].
Note: If the ”Direct access to the results” is not previously activated refer to the next section “Access
the report later”
To access the report later enter login information, select the participant then “Reports” to access the
report list.
Note: - A green checkmark means that the tests is already generated and can be accessed.
- A lock means the user should use one credit to generate and access the report

History allows to compare at least two reports of the same test for a same participant.
To access “History”, select the participant in the dashboard and tap “History” and then select the test
to compare.

Cleaning: Both, the Physilog6 sensor device and the clip accessories can be manually
cleaned and disinfected carefully with wipes with 70% isopropyl (IPA) or 96% ethanol
(available at drugstore or pharmacy).
Note: Clean and disinfect the Physilog6 sensor device and the clip accessories before each
use, including the first one.
Maintenance: The Gait Up GO medical device is tested and calibrated prior to distribution.
Under normal conditions, the characteristics of the device do not vary.
Firmware updates: While using the device, firmware updates might be requested. In order to
keep your Physilog6 with the most up to date firmware version, go to the Physilog6 info screen
and click on “Update Firmware”.
Note: If the sensor is already updated, this option will not appear on the screen
Mobile application updates: The Gait Up GO mobile application is updated via the relevant
App store.
Clip accessories: Clips are spare parts subject to damage after repeated use. If any damage is
observed on the clips, please contact Gait Up SA and ask for a replacement.
Device storage: Place all components within the original packaging, each of them in its
dedicated space inside the casing.
Store it in a cool (-20°C—+60 °C) and dry place at a stable temperature and ambient humidity
(25% - 70% non-condensing). Keep away from direct sunlight.

When & how to perform a manual reset of the Physilog6 sensor device
In case the Physilog6 sensor cannot be connected to the Gait Up GO mobile application, after controlling
that the correct sensor is linked, that it has enough battery and is in proximity and after restarting the Gait
Up GO mobile application, a reset of the Physilog6 device can solve the problem.
•Unplug Physilog6 if it is charging
•Press the sensor button for 15 seconds, it will blink orange and beeps
•Release the button and wait until the blinking stops
