Specifications
Operations
Weighing Items
1. Place the scales on a flat surface.
2. Press the ON/OFF key, the screen on the scale should display 0.0 after a few seconds.
3. Place item that will be weighed on the plate. The weight will appear on the screen.
Tare Function
1. Leave the container on the plate.
2. Press Tare button to reset weight back to 0.
3. Put the object on the plate for weighing.
Power Off
When the scale is on, press the ON/OFF key to power off the scale.
Change Unit
Press the MODE key to choose between “lb, oz, kg, g, ct”

Auto Off Time Setting
When the scale is at “0”, press and hold TARE key till the scale displays “5”, press MODE key to
toggling from “1”, “3”, “5” , “-” (auto off in 1 minutes, 3 minutes or 5 minutes) and “-” (no auto off),
press TARE key to confirm.
When using AC adapter, the auto-off function will not work.
Counting
When the scale is in normal weighing mode, press and hold PCS key to enter into counting mode.
Now the scale displays “25” (means the samples quantity), put the known-quantity samples on the
scale platter, press MODE key to toggling from “25”, “50”, “70” and “100”, then press TARE key to
confirm. Put more same object on the platter, the scale will display the total quantity of
the weighed objects.
If any wrong operation happens, the scale will display “Err” and back to normal weighing mode.
In Counting mode, press MODE key to back to normal weighing mode.
Overload Indicator
When the scale is overloaded , the following will appear on the screen. “O_Ld”
Low Battery Indicator
When the battery voltage is less than 2.5V, the scale will display “Lo” and power off.

Calibration
1. When the scale is normal weighing mode, press and hold MODE key for about 6 seconds till it
displays a required calibration weight. CAL weights required for different capacities are as below:
1kg/2lb scale - 500g or 1kg
5kg/11lb scale - 1kg or 2kg or 5kg
10kg/22lb scale - 2kg or 5kg or 10kg
Press MODE key to switch between the CAL weights, press TARE key to confirm, now the LCD will
first display “CAL” then flash displaying the weight value.
2. Now put the corresponding weights on the scale platter, after a few seconds when the inner code
gets stable, the scale will display “PASS” and back to normal weighing mode.
3. Remove the weights from the scale, now calibration has been finished.
If any wrong operation happens during the calibration, the scale will display “Err”, then auto power
off. Power on the scale again and repeat the above calibration steps.
If you need to exit the calibration mode, press ON/OFF key to power off the scale.
Care Instructions
• Place your scale on a hard, flat surface, to ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability.
• Clean your scale with a damp cloth but do not allow water to get inside the scales.
• Do not use chemical abrasive cleaners to clean the scales.
• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the electronics.
• Do not store the scale in an upright position when not in use.
• Remove batteries if the scales are not being used for extended periods of time.
• Treat your scale carefully, because it is a precision instrument.

Warranty Information
1 Year Limited Replacement Warranty - Valid Only in the Continental United States
Unless otherwise stated, Galaxy Equipment warrants to the original purchaser of new, qualified Galaxy
Equipment units (and all parts thereof), that such equipment will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.
If a qualified product is found to be defective during this period, Galaxy Equipment will repair the defective
unit, replace any defective parts, or replace the defective unit.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover:
Galaxy Equipment will not warrant coverage for component failure or other damages that arise under the
following conditions:
• Failure to install and/or use the unit within proper operating conditions specified by Galaxy Equipment
• Failure to properly maintain the unit. This includes, but is not limited to, basic preventative maintenance
like cleaning the condenser coil.
• Products sold or used outside of the Continental United States.
• Any damage that occurs as a result of negligence or improper handling.
• Overloading or improper loading of the unit in a manner that prevents proper airflow.
• Void in mobile settings.
Additionally, no claims can be made against this warranty for spoilage of products, loss of sales or profits, or
anyother consequential damages.
Normal wear type parts, such as light bulbs and gaskets, are not included in warranty coverage.
