Plug in 15V Power supply to back of RS-12DN
Place correct filter inside RS-12DN
There is a screw to verify that the filter holder is in the correct spot. Ensure that the hole
lines up

Power on RS-12DN. The power button is located towards the back of the RS-12DN on the base
Warm up lamp for at least 10 minutes before calibrating.
This ensures that the lamp is sufficiently warmed up to ensure no drift in the lamp
values
Once 10 minutes has passed, the lamp is ready to be used for calibration
When changing between filter holders allow 5 minutes to ensure filter holder values don’t change.
Validation
The front diffuser of the RS-12DN has a uniformity of 97%.
Typically the user images directly onto the surface of the RS-12DN
After warmup time is completed the user can verify that the system measures close to the values
located on the Filter Holder
For the Blank and Aperture Filter holder, the values show the Luminance corresponding
to both White Radiance and Aperture Radiance

For the BG-7B Filter Holder has values for the unscaled NVIS Radiance.
These are check values to verify that the system is measuring close to the
specified NVIS Radiance.
