GAS ONE GS-2000 User manual

Model GS-2000
If you smell gas:
1. Do not attempt to light appliance.
2. Extinguish any open ame.
3. Disconnect from fuel supply.
4. Evacuate enclosure, call for
professional help.

Do not store or use gasoline or other
liquids with ammable vapours in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
This stove is equipped for use with
butane gas only. Do not attempt to
operate this stove at temperatures
below freezing (32 degrees F).

This appliance can produce carbon monoxide
which has no odor.
Using it in an enclosed space can kill you.
Never use this appliance in an enclosed space
such as a camper, tent, car or home.

The appliance is equipped with a safety device which stops the ow of gas if the pressure in the
cartridge, e.g. because of overheating, becomes too high.
Turn the control knob to ( OFF) position.
To continue usage...
Place new canister after checking that the "UNLOCK" position. (If new canister
is not Hand, cool down the canister in use with water.)
The cartridge can only be installed when the control knob is in the OFF-position.
Take unit outdoors away from any ignition sources.
Remove butane cartridge.
Store butane canister consistent with instructions and warnings
on the cartridge.
Use a soft cloth and clean greasy parts of the stove with soap and water
or a nonabrasive detergent.
Check Lever on stove to be sure it is in the "UNLOCK" position.
Fuel canister must be disconnected when the stove is in storage.
Store stove in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children.
HANDLING SAFETY DEVICE
Turn the canister lever to "UNLOCK" position and take the canister out.
Push down the reset lever with red rubber cap strongly.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Clean the burner head with a brush
Check the igniter tip to see if it has been bent too far away
from the burner cap for a spark to be produced.
Check that the Control Knob is in the OFF position
Make sure the pan support is in the upright position
Make sure the notch on the canister is lined up with the
MSR regulator guide.
Check if the gas cartridge was inserted and locked in properly
Check if the gas cartridge is empty
Check if the temperature is above 32F.
No Gas Comes Out
No Ignition
Can not lock in
The fuel canister
You smell gas
Check with soapy water for any gas leaks where the canister
and regulator meet If there is a leak and you have inserted
the canister properly, reutrn to dealer for repair.
Do not use.
Problem Possible Solutions
CAUTION: Butane is heavier than air and will seek the lowest point in a room. Ventilate the
room and do not turn on any source of ignition, such as lights or appliance until room has
been well ventilated. If gas odor is strong, evacuate the building and seek professional
assistance.
Turn Control Knob clockwise to ( OFF) position and return lever to the
up position.(Fig.5 & Fig.6)
Allow stove to cool for 10-15 minutes.

GAS ONEʼs Dual-Fuel Portable Stove uses
standard 8 oz. butane canister and 16.4 oz.
propane cylinder that are sold separately.
LIGHTING THE STOVE
NOTE:
Check for leaks by using soapy water, Never use a ame. Bubbles
indicate a leak.
NOTE: Close the Canister Cover before lighting. Not closing the Cover properly may cause canister to
overheat.
To connect a gas canister, locate the notch on its collar, lift up the
safety guide inside at the stove connection and insert canister so
safety guide is inside canister collar notch.
Push down the canister lever to "LOCK" (Fig.2)
CAUTION: When replacing fuel container, be sure no external sources
of ignition are present.
The stove must not be exposed to ammable vapours or liquids during lighting.
Push and turn the Control Knob counter clock wise until you hear a click
indicating that a spark has been produced. (Fig.3)
Open canister cover, remove canister and shake to verify that it is not empty.
If the stove does not light, turn the Control Knob back to ( OFF) position
and repeat previous step. (Fig.1)
After three failed attempts, turn the gas supply o by turning the Control
Knob clock wise to ( OFF) position and return the Canister lever to
"UNLOCK" position.
If empty, replace cartridge following the "Setting up the stove" section.
Adjust ame with Control Knob to desired heat. (Fig.4)
Match Light:
Turn Control knob clockwise to ( OFF) position. (Fig.1)
Push down the canister lever to “LOCK” position.(Fig.2)
Hold lighted match next to Burner and turn Control Knob counter clockwise slowly.
Adjust ame to desired heat lever. (Fig.4)
Flame should be blue with hint of yellow tip.
If burner does not light and Control/Ignition Knob is not completely in "OFF" position,
gas is escaping and could cause an accident.
CAUTION:
When canister needs to be replaced: if stove in use, do not touch
the hot stove or any items that are on stove until they have cooled.

Open the canister compartment cover.
SETTING UP THE STOVE
NOTE:
This portable gas stove shall be used with 227g (8 Oz.) GASONE Model GAS-1 non-rellable fuel
gas canister. Canisters must be marked to D.O.T. type 2P or 2Q containers.
CAUTION: Use only the gas pressure regulator supplied with this appliance. This regulator is set for an
outiet pressure of 1.1psi.
If you can not locate a supplier in your area, please contact GASONE at
www.gasoneus.com for location information.
Replacement parts are not available. Please return the complete unit to
your seller for repair or replacement.
Always place the cooker on a horizontal stable and heat resistant surface.
Do not use grill plates or pans that extend over the cartridge compartment.
Make sure Lever is in the "UNLOCK" position (otherwise cartridge
cannot be installed).(Fig.1)

USE OF THE APPLIANCE WITH PROPANE CYLINDER
SETUP WITH 16.4 oz DISPOSABLE PROPANE CYLINDER
Hose assembly to be used with propane cylinder ONLY!
1. Make certain the control/ignition knob is in the o position.
2. Remove any butane fuel canister if present.
3. Thread the brass tting of the hose assembly onto the gas inletof the stove. Brass tting should
be snug (hand tighten only). Make sure the hose assembly is connected to the stove rst, then
connect to propane cylinder.
4. Remove plastic cap from top of propane cylinder.
5. Screw propane cylinder into REGULATOR. Make sure hose assembly is securely connected before igniting.
6. Check the connection between the propane cylinder and gas inlet of stove with soapy water.
Bubbles indicate a leak.
7. Make sure stove is placed on a at, sturdy surface before igniting.
8. Close gas canister.
TO LIGHT
1. Turn control knob counterclockwise until you hear the ignition clicking sound. Burner should light up.
2. Adjust ame to the desired heat level with control knob.
TO TURN OFF
1. Turn control knob clockwise to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect hose from the propane cylinder rst, THEN disconnectthe hose assembly from the stove.
Hose assembly can be fo lded and stored inside the metal ap.
TO STORE
1. Be sure stove is cool.
2. ALWAYS - remove propane cylinder from regulator before storing stove and replace plastic cap on
cylinder.
Always detach propane cylinder outdoors away from ignition sources. Store stove in a dry, clean and
safe place.
3. Unscrew regulator with gas hose from the gas inlet of the stove.
4. Cylinders must be stored outdoors out of children.

Check that the canister or cylinder is empty before changing it (shake to hear the noise made by the liquid).
Check the seals before connecting new canister or cylinder to the appliance.
Change the gas canister or cylinder outside away from people,
in a well ventilated location,away from any source of ignition,
such as open ames, pilot lights, and electrical res.
Never store any canister, cylinder or hose assembly near a heat source,
open ames, or any source of ignition.
Never store in direct sunlight or space that may exceed temperatures of 110
o
F.
Never remove canister, cylinder, or hose assembly while the stove is lit.
Never try to rell butane canister or propane cylinder.
Avoid any strong impact that might damage the canister, cylinder or
hose assembly.
Keep cap cover on canister or cylinder when not in use.
Do not dispose of the canister or cylinder into a re.
