Installation of eGate Thermo LoRaWan temperature transmitter
Mounting
Mount the device to a board or another suitable vertical surface. Mounting position,
cables down.
• Open the upper lid.
• Mount device with pan head screw, ø4.2mm max., length 10mm min.
• Close the lid.
Alternative method:
• Put nail or screw, head dimension ø4.2mm max. to vertical surface.
• Hang device from middle top hole.
Connecting the sensors
Use thermocouple K, please note correct polarity when connecting
the cable to the connectors. If your cable is green/white the correct
polarity is Green (+) and White (-). If your cable is yellow/red the
correct polarity is Yellow (+) and Red (-).

Making the sensor
Peel the cable at least 2 cm and twist them tightly together
at least 1 cm. Aer making the twisted pair connection
insulate the sensor head with shrink plug. Both the cable
and the shrink plugs can be acquired from your dealer.

Status check of eGate Thermo LoRaWan temperature transmitter
Checking the status
Press the button to check the status of the eGate-Thermo-LWEU-2TCK. The leds located on the front will indicate the status
for 30 seconds:
• Connection:
- Green: Connected.
- Red blinking: No connection.
- Unlit: Unknown, or connection test in progress. Connection test may take >10 seconds.
• Sensor 1 (le side) and Sensor 2 (right side):
- Green: the thermocouple is recognized.
- Unlit: the thermocouple is not attached or not recognized / cable is cut.
• Battery:
- Green: Ok battery
- Red blinking: low battery (<20%)
Replacing the batteries
• The eGate-Thermo-LWEU-2TCK is powered with a 3.6V Lithium Thionyl battery pack (should last at least 5 years).
Please contact your dealer for battery exchange.
