The warranty does not cover damage
caused after delivery. Immediately contact the dealer (or builder)
that sold you the beverage center.
Save time
&money Before you request service, check the
Problem Solver in the buck of this manual. It lists causes of minor operating problems
that you can correct yourself.
Remove
packaging
Before using, be sure ulI packing materials
and tape have been removed.
To assure no damage is done to the finish
of the product, the safest way to remove
the adhesive left from packaging tape on
new appliances is on application of
household liquid detergent. Apply with
o soft cloth and allow to soak. Wipe dry
and then apply an appliance polish to
thoroughly clean and protect the surface.

After
installation
is completed
The location should not be subject to
direct sunlight, heat or moisture.
Promptly inspect your new Monogram
beverage center. If it has been damaged,
contact the Installer or Dealer
immediately.
This beverage center must be properly
leveled to ensure correct door alignment
and door closure. Contact the Installer if
the unit is not level.
The unit should be centered in the
opening. The front face of the door
should be 1" forward of adjacent
cabinetry. Contact the installer if
clearance is not correct.
®Test the door swing. Carefully open and
close the door. The door should not rub
or catch on adjacent cabinetry. Notify
the installer if the door makes contact
with cabinetry.
Please Contact the Installer or Dealer if
you experience any of these problems.
Your beverage center is shipped with a black
toekick on the front of the unit. For shipping
purposes, an optional stainless steel toekick
is secured to the back or on the inside of the
unit. That toekick should have been removed
and installed, or given to you. Keep the
unused toekick and other unused or
removed parts for possible future use.

Do not use an adapter plug to connect

HOW TO CONNECTELECTRICITY
Do not, under any circumstances, cut
or remove the third (groundJ prong from
the power cord. For personal safety, this
appliance must be properly grounded.
The power cord of this appliance is
equipped with a 3-prong (grounding}
plug which mates with a standard S-prong
(grounding} wall outlet to minimize the
possibilitg of electric shock hazard from
this appliance.
Have the wail outlet and circuit checked
bg a qualified electrician to make sure
the outlet is properlg grounded.
Where a standard 2-prong wail outlet
is encountered, it is gour personal
responsibilitg and obligation to have
it replaced with a properlg grounded
3-prong wail outlet.
The appliance should alwags be plugged
into its own individual electrical outlet which
has a voltage rating that matches the rating
plate. This provides the best performance
and also prevents overloading house wiring
circuits which could cause a fire hazard
from overheated wires.
Never unplug an appliance bg pulling on
the power cord. Alwags grip the plug firmlg
and pull straight out from the outlet.
Repair or replace immediatelg all
power cords that have become fraged
or otherwise damaged. Do not use a cord
that shows cracks or abrasion damage
along its length or at either end.
When moving the appliance, be careful not
to roll over or damage the power cord.

Temperature
control The oper(]ting temper(]tures of the
beverage center r(]nge from 40°F to 65%.
This appli(]nce is not a refrigerator and
does not m(]intain temperatures like a
refrigerator (below 40°F).
Do not inst(]II the bever(]ge center where
the temper(]ture will go below 55% or
above 90%.
As with any refrigeration-type product,
there is (] slight temper(]ture v(]ri(]nce at
different Ioc(]tions within the c(]binet.
The temperature displ(]g shows the (]ctu(]I
temper(]ture of the bever(]ge center. The
(]ctu(]I temper(]ture m(]y v(]rg slightlg from
the set temper(]ture b(]sed on f(]ctors such
(is door openings, (]mount of bever(]ges
(]nd room temperature. After re(]king
(]djustments, (]llow 12 to 24 hours for the
bever(]ge center to re(]ch the temper(]ture
you h(]ve set and before m(]king (]ng
further adjustments. The f(]ctorg setting
is 45%.
To change the temperature settings,
press the + and - p(]ds until you re(]ch
the desired set temper(]ture. After sever(if
seconds, the display will return to the (]ctu(]I
temper(]ture. The (]ctu(]l temper(]ture will be
displayed while the unit moves tow(]rd the
set temperature.
Allow 22 to 24 hours for the beverage
center to re(]ch the temper(]ture gou h(]ve
set and before m(]king (]ny adjustments
to the initi(]I setting.
NOTES:
°This unit is designed for storing (]nd
cooling bever(]ges. It is not intended
for the storage of perishable foods.
oThe lowest temper(]tures are found on
the lower shelvesir(]cks (]nd tow(]rd the
re(jr of the shelves/racks.

Interior lighting
and glass
activation
This child control lockout feature prevents
unwanted changes to gour temperature
settings.
The interior light m(]kes it e(]sy to view
gour bever(]ge I(]bels (]nd enh(]nces the
dispI(]g of your collection. The privacy
g!(]ss (]Ilows you to view your wine (]nd
beverages with (] simple press of (] button,
without opening the door. These two
fe(]tures workjointlg to dispI(]g your
beverages.
Normal operation
When the door is opened, the light will
come on (]nd the door will become cle(]r.
Special features
The light (]nd glass activ(]tion button,
Ioc(]ted at the top of the handle, will switch
the gl(]ss from op(]que to cle(]r and will, (it
the s(]me time, turn on the light. The light
will st(]g on and the gI(]ss will remain cle(]r
for one hour from the I(]st time the button
w(]s pressed. To turn the light off (]nd m(]ke
the gl(]ss op(]que, press the button (]gain.
After the desired temperature is set, the
temperature can be locked. To lock, press
both the + and - pads at the same time for
five seconds. To unlock, press both + and -
pads for five seconds.
The op(]que setting conce(]Is the contents
from view.
The light will come on only when the door
is opened or the button is pressed. If gou
choose to (]ctiv(]te the light (]nd door while
the door is open, you may notice that the
word ON is dispI(]ged. If you press the light
button (] second time, while the door is
open the word OFF will be dispI(]ged.
For best viewing, do not store (] bottle
on the top shelf directlg under the light.
Remember to turn off the light when it
is no longer needed.

Glass
shelves Tempered glass shelves in the beverage
center unit are removable for easg cleaning
or for storing larger items.
To remove a shelf, open the door
completelg to ovoid potential damage to
the gasket. Lift up on the buck of the shelf
slightly. Tilt the shelf to one side at an angle
while pulling forward.
Appearance may vary
To replace a shelf, open the door
completelg to avoid potential damage
to the gasket. Tilt the shelf to one side
at an angle and slide toward the back wail,
placing one side onto the shelf support.
Place the other side onto the opposite
shelf support. Ensure rear locking tabs are
engaged. When installed properly, the shelf
will not slide forward when gently pulled.
To remove, lift up on the back of the shelf Tilt the shelf at an angle while removing
or replacing Place in slots when replacing the shelf
OuickSpace T.
shelf This shelf splits in half and slides under itself
for storage of tall items on the shelf below.
Step 1: Lift the back edge of the front half
of the shelf.
Step 2: Pull slightlg forward.
Step :3:Lower the back edge of the front half
of the shelf while sliding it underneath the
back half.
The entire Quick Space shelf can be removed
and replaced (see Glass Shelves section).

Interior fan The interior fan is located in the rear wall of
the beverage center, and is designed to run
continuouslg to help maintain the proper
cooling temperature. The interior fan will
onlg turn off when the door is opened.

suggestions
The bottom two full extension drawers hold
five bottles each and are loaded with necks
facing the rear, Tall bottles should not be
loaded on the bottom drawer because theg
mug prevent the door from closing.
• Do not block the thermistor, located on
the right hand side, just above the third
shelf of the beverage center. Blocking
the thermistor could impair the air
circulation and temperature control.
NOTE: This unit is for storing beverages
onlg and not intended for the storage of
perishable foods. Bottom drawer arrangement
Removing
full
extension
drawers
The bottom full extension drawers pull
out so bottles can convenientlg be added
or removed.
The upper full extension slide can be
removed for magnums or larger bottles.
To remove:
1. Pull the full extension drawer out to the
STOPposition.
2. Push the tab on right drawer guide down
while pulling the tab on left guide up, and
pull the drawer out.
To replace:
1. Push the drawer slide arm back into
the unit.
.Pull the small slide sub-assemblg
completelg forward.
3. Insert the sides of the drawer back
into the guides.
4. Push until the tabs lock into place.

NOTE: Make sure the tabs on the full
extension drawer guides are fullg engaged
before loading ang bottles. Pull the drawers
out all the wag to the STOPposition and
push back in several times to make sure
locking tabs are properlg engaged.
Wood
drawer
fronts

The full extension drawer fronts on the
beverage center are unfinished cherrg
wood. During use, oil from hands mag
accumulate and stain the wood.
• The drawer fronts mag be stained and
sealed to match adjacent cabinetrg. The
tinted glass will make the stained wood
appear darker. A true color match can be
seen onlg when the door is opened.
•Applg the stain and sealer according to
the manufacturer's instructions. To avoid
unpleasant odor, keep the door open to
ventilate and allow the stain/sealer to drLl
completelLl before using the product.
NOTE: Natural wood mag varg slightlg in
grain and color.
