incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion

Limited One-Year Warranty
GearLight warrants this product for one year from the date of purchase
against any defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. We will,
at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of this product
should we determine it to be defective.

MAINTENANCE
Inspect the lantern monthly and carefully remove any damaged batteries and clean
any corrosion. If the lantern is used less than once a month, remove the batteries
between use.
If problem persists: LED Failure. Contact GearLight for replacement.
• Replace the batteries.
If light appears dim or faded:
• Replace the batteries.
• Make sure the battery cap is twisted on tightly and batteries are inserted correctly
according to the polarity (-,+) marked inside the battery compartment.
• Firmly press the power button on and o several times.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the lantern does not turn on or works intermittently:

WARNING: Do not hang, hook, or attach the lantern directly above any person. It
may fall and cause serious injuries.

• Easily hang the lantern with the foldaway hook located at the base of the
lantern.

Switching Modes
• There are 3 dierent lighting modes:
White Light Modes: Max Bright, Min Bright
Warm Light Mode: Medium
• To switch through the dierent lighting modes,
press down on the power button to cycle through
the 3 modes.
• To turn the lantern on, press down firmly on the power button until you hear a
click.
• To turn the lantern o, press the power button to cycle through the dierent
modes until the lantern turns o.
WARNING: Always follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions as to the proper
usage, handling, storage, and disposal of batteries. Use only batteries from a
reputable manufacturer. Do not mix dierent brands or types of batteries in the
same flashlight. Replace all batteries at the same time. Failure to follow safety
instructions may result in personal injury and damage to property.

D Battery Installation
1. Remove the battery compartment cap by holding the lantern upside down and
rotating the base counterclockwise.
TIP: Hold the black section of the lantern while removing the battery cap.
2. Insert three (3) D batteries following the correct polarity (+,-) marked inside the
battery compartment.
3. Secure the battery compartment cap by aligning the 2 poles with the holes in
the base (Fig. 1).
4. Press down firmly on the battery cap, then rotate clockwise to tighten.
WARNING:Do not shine the light directly into anyone’s eyes or stare directly into
the LED. Keep away from children.
