1. Descrizione / Introduction
La EXP-D14A4F è una scheda di espansione per i drive della serie SIEIDrive
- AVy. E’ possibile montare una sola scheda di I/O per Drive.
La scheda è composta da:
- 8 ingressi digitali optoisolati 15...30V
- 6 uscite digitali optoisolate 15...30V 50mA max
- 2 ingressi analogici ±10V o 0...20mA o 4...20mA
- 2 uscite analogiche ±10V
- 1 ingresso in frequenza optoisolato per encoder
L’ingresso in frequenza è a sua volta composto da:
- ingresso canaleA e A negato selezionabile ad una tensione di 5V oppure
15...24V (150kHz max)
- ingresso canale B e B negato selezionabile ad una tensione di 5V oppu-
re 15...24V (150kHz max)
- ingresso canale 0 e 0 negato selezionabile ad una tensione di 5V oppure
15...24V (150kHz max)
- ingresso camma di zero (C / C negato) 15...30V
Se è utilizzato un encoder digitale con tensione di 15V/24V di tipo comple-
mentare (A, Anot, B, Bnot), è disponibile il segnale di mancanza encoder.
The EXP-D14A4F card is an SIEIDrive - AVy drive option used to add digital
inputs,digitaloutputs,analoginputs,analog outputsand asecond optocoupled
encoder input to the drive. It is possible to use only one I/O expansion card per
Drive.
This option card features:
- 8 optocoupled digital inputs 15V up to 30VDC
- 6 optocoupled digital outputs 15V up to 30VDC
- 2 analog inputs ±10V or 0 up to20mA or 4 up to 20mA
- 2 analog outputs ±10V
- 1 optocoupled digital encoder input
- A / A not channel +5V or 15V/24V selectable (150kHz max)
- B / B not channel +5V or 15V/24V selectable (150kHz max)
- 0 / 0 not channel +5V or 15V/24V selectable (150kHz max)
- Encoder qualifier input (C / C not) 15VDC up to 24VDC

When a digital encoder with allA, Anot, B, Bnot channels and +15V/24V power
supply is used an encoder loss detection is available.

2. Fissaggio / Mounting
La scheda EXP-D14A4F viene fornita con un kit comprendente distanziali ed
il collegamento (C) scheda regolazione / scheda espansione.
1. Spegnere l’azionamento.
2. Fissare con le viti (B) e i distanziali (A) la scheda EXP-D14A4Falla sche-
da di regolazione.
3. La scheda EXP-D14A4F si collega alla scheda di regolazione attraver-
so il connettore XH. Su questo connettore sono presenti le alimentazioni
e i segnali.
4. Accendere l’azionamento.
The EXP-D14A4F card is supplied with standoffs and the cable for connection
between regulation and expansion card .
1. Switch the drive off.
2. Fasten the EXP-D14A4F card to the drive regulation board by means of
screws (B) and standoffs (A).
3. The EXP-D14A4F card is connected to the regulator card through the XH
connector using the supplied connector. The power supply (+5V) and the
control signals are provided by the drive via the XH connector.
4. Switch on the drive.

3.2 Connessione uscite digitali / Digital outputs terminal board points
Le uscite digitali richiedono un’alimentazione esterna di +15V….+24V. Può
essere utilizzata a tale scopo la tensione +24V disponibile in morsettiera del
drive.
Al morsetto 60 (PWR) deve essere collegata l’alimentazione positiva, il comu-
ne è il morsetto 55 (COM).
Digital outputs need a +15V…+24V supply voltage.
Terminal 60 is power supply, terminal 55 is the common power supply.

3.5 Connessione encoder / Encoder connection
L’interfaccia encoder permette di collegare un encoder incrementale digitale
attraverso un connettore 15 poli ad alta densità (tipo VGA). L’alimentazione
per l’encoder deve essere fornita esternamente tramite i morsetti 93, 94, 95
secondo il tipo di alimentazione richiesta dall’encoder (+5V o del tipo alimen-
tato a 15...24V).
The EXP-D14A4F expansion board adds a second digital encoder input via a
15 pins high density connector (VGA type). External power for the encoder
(+5V or +15V/24V) can be supplied thru terminals 93, 94, 95.

Settare il Jumper su ON quando occorre l’allarme mancanza encoder anche
per il canale di zero (attivo solo quando viene utilizzato un encoder comple-
mentare digitale 15V/24V)
Set Jumper to ON when encoder loss detection is used also for zero channel.
(Alarm active only if a digital encoder with all A, Anot, B, Bnot channels and
+15V/24V power supply is used).
