This Instruction Manual contains its operating and necessary trouble shooting
procedures. Please read carefully and understand the Manual before
operating the Machine.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure to read this “Safety Instructions” carefully before operation.
Important instructions to be reminded are described in the “Safety Instructions”.
Be sure to follow these instructions to use to Machine properly. Please note the
Warning, Caution marks and descriptions below:
In case the Machine is wrongly operated without respect to this

2. BEFORE OPERATING THE MACHINE
2-1.
Cautions to be taken when operating the Machine
Be sure not to put a glass or a vase with water on/near the Machine.
In case water gets into the Machine, it may cause a machine trouble.
Be sure not to put tiny things like clips etc. on or in the vicinity of the Machine.
In case a clip or other foreign matter enters the inside of the Machine,
it may cause a machine trouble.

1.Thickness Adjustment Knob
Use to make the smooth counting operation, Use to turn the Knob with hand.
If the Display shows “Ed”or“E1d”error during normal counting operation, adjust
the Knob toward the “-“sign. If the count is performed at an inconstant speed,
adjust the Knob toward the”+”sign. (default mark “0” for EURO)
2.Carrying Handle
It is used for carrying the machine.
3.Power Switch
It is to turn on and off.
4.Power Inlet
It is to connect the Power Cable.
5.RS232 Interface
Use to connect the machine to a computer (PC).

3-2. Names and Functions of Keys
By this key, SHEETS COUNT mode or VALUE
COUNT mode can be selected. (option)
Auto start and Manual start can be selected with MNL
Key.
An appropriate speed may be chosen by pressing this
key, changeable in three steps (Fast, Normal, Slow).
The clear key removes the Batch number or the
counted result display.
Every time the machine has completed counting, the
count will be added to the Preset Display with
pressing Add key.
Any Preset Number can be set with
Ten Keys.
The setting of various functions can be

Note: VALUE function only work on the speed-1 or

Used to initiate a counting operation or to clear an
error message.
Used to set the machine to detect denominations in

By this key the reference level for two sheets
detection can be changed according to the degree of
colour of notes to be counted.
Used to set the machine to detect denominations in
length.(option)
By this key the machine is set to recognize the
counterfeit notes by the detection of fluorescent.
(option)
By this key the machine is set to recognize the
counterfeit notes without magnetism. (option)
By this key the machine is set to recognize the
counterfeit notes without special internal messages
in a metal thread. (option)
By this key the machine is set to recognize the
counterfeit notes without the infrared mark,
Discriminating system is analyzing by optical
sensor.(option)

Note: IRD function only work on the speed-1 or
speed-11.
4. MODES and FUNCTIONS
4-1. Modes
Mode
Mode-1
SHEETS COUNT mode, a default mode, the
machine will count out the notes in sheets result.
Preset Mode key , “Mode-1” will be shown on
display.
Mode-11 VALUE COUNT mode, the machine will count the
notes in total value result , and will show the details of
every denomination.(option)
Preset Mode key to enter this mode, and “Mode-11”
will be shown on display.
Note: if speed-111 is selected , Mode-11 is not
function.

4-2. Functions
The function described in this manual may not be available depending
on the Model.
ADD Function
Preset ADD key to enter this mode, and Add will be
shown on display.
Add function is available in both Mode-1 and
Mode-11. Every time the machine has completed
counting, the Display will shows accumulated count.
Press Add Key to turn on or off the function.
Press CKey to clear the accumulated count.
Doubles Detection Function
Press DEN Key to enter the function.
The Machine detects the Doubles Feeding and the
detection level can be selected with DEN Key
depending on the density of notes.

The Key functions to change four different levels in the following
Sequence,The default setting is DEN-|:
DEN-|→DEN-|| →DEN-|||→(Blank)
DEN-|
Level 1: To cunt for light colored (thin) notes.
DEN-||
Level 2: To count notes with the middle of Level 1 and
Level 3.
DEN-|||
Level 3:
To count dark colored (thick) notes.
OFF(Blank)
The function should be off when counting very dark color
notes or very thick notes. However the machine can not
detect the Doubles Feeding.
Counting Speed Function
The counting speed can be set with this function.
Depending on SPEEDkey , operation is different as follow:
Press SPEED Key.
An appropriate speed may be chosen by
pressing this key , changeable in three
steps (Fast, Normal, Slow).
The counting speed changes with pressing
SPEED Key.
The display indicates the Speed as
following:

When Speed is changed form SPEED-|| to SPEED-|||, IRD、3D
Function automatically turn off and Mode-| automatically change
form Mode-||, if speed is changed form SPEED-||| to SPEED-| or
SPEED-||, The machine setting will be changed the previous
setting.
UVD Detection Function (option)
This function is to detect the fluorescent on notes.
By this function the machine is made to recognize
counterfeit notes by the detection of fluorescent.
A counterfeit note that does generate fluorescence
unde the ultraviolet rays can be detected when this
function is set ON. The machine will stop at the
message “CF1” . the suspected note is the last one in
the stacker.
Pressing UVD key can be used to set on the UVD
function and select the sensitivity. The Key functions
to change three different levels in the following
sequence:
UVD-|→UVD-|| →UVD-|||→(Blank)

Level 1:
To count for lowest sensitivity step of notes .
UVD-||
Level 2:(default)
To count notes with middle sensitivity step .
UVD-|||
Level 3:
To count notes with highest sensitivity stepl.

MGD Detection Function (option)
This function is to detect the magnetism on notes.
Depending on key specification, operation is different as
follow:
Press MGD Key to enter the function.
Through this function, the machine will detect the
counterfeit note without the magnetism, When a
counterfeit note is detected, the machine will stop at
the message “CF2” on the display. The suspected
note is the last one in the stacker. Take the suspected
one away and press “RESTART” key will countinue
the counting. The suspected one isn’t included in the
counting result.
The MGD Key functions to change four different
levels in the following sequence:
MGD-|→MGD-|| →MGD-|||→MGD-|||| →(Blank)
MGD-|
Level 1:
To count for lowest magnetic sensitivity level of notes .
MGD-||
Level 2:(default)
To count notes with middle magnetic sensitivity level .
MGD-|||
Level 3:
To count notes with high magnetic sensitivity level.
MGD-||||
Level4:
To count notes with highest magnetic sensitivity level.
OFF(Blank)
The function should be off when counting without the
magnetism notes. However the machine can not detect the
magnetism notes.

MTD Detection Function (option)
This function is to detect the thread on notes.
Depending on MTD key , operation is different as follow:
Press MTD Key to enter the function and “MTD-|” will
be shown on the display.Through this function, the
machine will detect the counterfeit note without the
metal thread, When a counterfeit note is detected, the
machine will stop at the message “CF3” on the display.
The suspected note is the last one in the stacker. Take
the suspected one away and press “RESTART” key
will countinue the counting. The suspected one isn’t
included in the counting result.
The MTD Key functions to change four different levels
in the following sequence:
MTD-|→MTD-|| →MTD-|||→MTD-|||| →(Blank)
MTD-|
Level 1:
To count for lowest sense level of notes .
MTD-||
Level 2:(default)
To count notes with middle sense level .
MTD-|||
Level 3:
To count notes with high sense level.
MTD-||||

To count notes with highest sense level.

The function should be off when counting without the thread
notes. However the machine can not detect the thread
notes.

IRD Detection Function (option)
This function is to detect the infrared mark on notes.
Through this function, the machine will detect the
counterfeit note which without the infrared mark.
When a counterfeit note is detected, the machine will
stop at the message “CF4” on the display. The
suspected note is the last one in the stacker. Take the
suspected one away and press “RESTART” key will
countinue the counting. The suspected one isn’t
included in the counting result.
Press IRD key to enter this function and “IRD-1” will be
shown on the display.
AUTO Start Function
Auto Start
The count starts automatically afrer loading notes onto the
Hopper.
Manual Start
The count starts with pressing RESTART
Key.
Auto Start and Manual Start can be selected
with
IRD
RESTART

pressing MNL Key.
When the “MNL” is shown on the display, the
Manual Start Function is activated. When the (blank)
is shown on the display, the Auto Start will be
selected.
3D Function ( Length Size) (option)
Through this function, the size of the first counted
note in Length will be memorized and if a smaller or a
larger one is detected the machine will stop and the
message “3d” will be shown on the display. Three
sensitivity levels are selectable in this function.
Press 3D key can be set different sensitivity levels
as follow:
3D-|
Level 1:
5 mm sense .
3D-||
Level 2:
4 mm sense .
3D-|||
Level 3:
3 mm sense.
OFF(Blank)
The function should be off.

DD Function ( Width Size)
A width size detection function. The DD function will
detect the passing note in the high size direction.
When a smaller or note is detected, the machine
will stop at the message “dd” . Three sensitivity
levels are selectable in this function.

Level 1: 5 mm sense .
DD-||
Level 2: 4 mm sense .
DD-|||
Level 3: 3 mm sense.
OFF(Blank)
The function should be off.
5. OPERATION
5-1. The default settings in factory
Turn the power switch on.
The machine will be in the previous setting. The default settings
in factory are as follow:

2. Notes
Examples of bad notes
Do not count the following noter which may cause of jamming or
count problems.
Torn notes or notes with hole Worn-out or flabby notes
Notes with tape Dirty notes
Before loading notes
Wrinkled note and dog ear note should Brick notes
