Description
This semi-wet suction system has been tested and found to comply with the standards
for medical devices in Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 93 / 42 / EEC
• EN 55011 : 2009 / A1 : 2010, EN 60601-1-2 : 2007 / AC :2010
• EN61000-3-3: 2008
These standards are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a typical medical installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with
the instructions, may cause harmful interference to other nearby devices. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to other devices, which can be
determined by turning the equipment o and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving device.
• Increase the space between the equipment.
• Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit dierent from that to which the
other devices are connected.
• Consult the manufacturer or eld service technician for assistance.
Unpacking
Carefully remove the machine from the shipping case. Preserve all paperwork for
future reference. If damage has occurred from shipment, claim must be led with the
carrier immediately. Preserve the shipping carton for inspection by the carrier. If you
are required to communicate with your dealer be sure to include your order numbers
for quick identication.
Mounting
Rubber feet are attached to the product. Rubber feet are excellent for applications
involving a semi-exible surface such as bench top; they help to isolate noise and
eliminate creeping. However, the horizontal position of the motor shaft should be
preferred.
Installation Location
The suction system should be positioned preferably in a clean, dry and well-ventilated
area. Please be sure not to block the ventilation ports located on the motor housing.
The unit should be placed where the surrounding temperature remains between 10°C
