Use a size T20 Torx-driver to remove the 2
screws, then unclip and remove the kick-panel
underneath the dashboard
Use a size T20 Torx-driver to remove the 2
screws, as shown
Carefully unclip and remove the OBD-Port
Slide open the retaining-clip at the top of the
mounting-bracket, and remove the OBD-Port
Fit ADAPTOR-5 to the "short" connector of the
Geotab harness, and secure with the metal clips.
Clip the connector into the bracket, in place of
the vehicle’s original OBD-Port

Clip the connector into the bracket in place of the
vehicle’s original OBD-Port
Slide closed the the retaining-clip to lock it in
place.
Plug the vehicle’s OBD-Port into CONNECTOR-1
of the Geotab harness.
Plug the Geotab unit into the remaining connector, and
secure with a cable-tie as shown
Using a flat-bladed screwdriver or suitable tool, remove
the side-panel of the dashboard

Secure the Geotab unit to a suitable bracket
inside the dashboard, using at least two
cable-ties.
Ensure that the harness does not obstruct any
moving parts or equipment
Finally, replace all panels, screws and clips in the
reverse order they were removed
The GPS-antenna is located at the “underside” of
the Geotab device. Take care when securing the
device into the vehicle, that this side is facing
away from any metal surface
Finally, replace all panels, screws and clips in the
reverse order they were removed
Start the engine, leaving it to idle. All three
LED’s will flash red briefly - wait until you see all
three LED’s: Red (Power), Green (GSM) and Blue
(GPS). These tell you the unit has connected
successfully.
During this five-minute process the unit will also
beep repeatedly as it updates to the latest
settings.
Log on to: https://installmygps.com
Enter your details including the serial number of
the Geotab device. Select “Log Install  ” and wait
for the green notification of a successful
installation.
