√Pre-Filter: Cleans the air of hair, dust and mites so the UVC light is not blocked by particles
√ Ionic Air Filtration: Eliminates ultra-fine particles down to 0.1 microns in size by causing them to stick to the negatively
charged ions on a charged collector plate
√ Active Carbon Filter: Removes odors, mold and smoke to make rooms smell fresh
√ HEPA Filter (H11*):
• Removes pollen, dust, smoke, pet dander, mold spores, PM2.5, & allergens
• Cleans the air of smaller particles so the UVC light is not blocked
• Captures particles as small as 10nm. SARS-Co-V-2 is 12.5 times larger at 125nm and can be captured by this filter
*The sweet spot in the tradeoff between air flow and particle capture. If the HEPA filter is too thin, particles get through. If
it is too thick, air flow is hindered, and the number of times air can flow through in an hour is less. Our HEPA 11 filter
captures 95% of air pollution on first pass, but it cycles the air more quickly than heavier filters. Once the air passes back
through the filter a second time, it captures another 95% of remaining particles. In just 2 passes, it captures 99.25%.
√ Cold Catalyst Filter: Absorbs dangerous formaldehyde and other harmful gases emitted by paint, carpet, and flooring
materials
√ UVC Light - Zaps up to 99.99% of bacteria & viruses from the air
To change the filter, simply remove the front cover and remove the filter.
Bulb life: Approximately 6,000 hours.
The ionizer collection plate is located inside the electronics behind the touch screen display. This does not require
maintenance or cleaning.
Negative ions exist in nature. They are found in ultraviolet (UV) rays, after a thunderclap or lightning strike and wherever water
collides like the shower, a waterfall or from ocean waves. It is also produced as part of the normal growth process for many
plants.
Negative ions purify the air by magnetically attracting to pollutants until these newly-formed larger particles become too heavy
to remain in the air you breathe. Negative ions produced by the ionizer function in this sanitizer are believed to produce
biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood and chemical serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress,
increase concentration and boost energy. For these reasons, we have included this ionizer function in our UVC Air Sanitizer.
However, for some individuals, negative ions may cause adverse reactions and should not be used. Symptoms may
include throat irritation, coughing, chest pain and shortness of breath, as well as an increased risk of respiratory
infection.
Do not use the ionizer function if you have asthma, bronchitis, COPD or other breathing problems or respiratory
disorders. You can DISABLE THE IONIZER FEATURE BY PRESSING THE ANION BUTTON ON THE REMOTE CONTROL
AND CHECKING THE DISPLAY PANEL TO BE SURE IT HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED.
The 4 UVC bulbs are located behind the filters.
