User Manual Solar Fan
Please read this instruction before using your Solar fan with three power supplies - and
keep this instruction in a safe place for future reference

1. Product Introduction
First of all congratulations with your Solar Fan! Your mobile fan will work with the power of
the sun from the quality 30 W Photo voltaic panel and automatically adjust to the intensity:
More sun, higher speed!
The fan has three speeds, can oscillate from side to side as well as an integrated timer
function.
The solar panel can be mounted permanently on a wall, roof or e.g. your balcony. There’s 5
meter cable. And the bracket can be adjusted to the optimal angle of the sun. Or just place the
panel on the ground in your garden, next to your fan.
You can also connect the fan to e.g. a car battery with the included cables. If the sun is not
heating and you still would like to run your ventilator indoor, you can use the energy saving
power supply.
This power supply is suitable as a spare or replacement power supply for many other
applications. The output voltage can be set in 7 stages. The energy saving in standby mode
compared to conventional linear power supplies is over 90%, conforming to the "ErP" energy
saving guideline. Use it for other appliances and save money!
There’s a few things you need to be aware of when using your Solar Fan. So please make sure
to read this instruction first – and don’t hesitate to ask your dealer or Gershoj Energia directly,
if you got any questions!

4. Installation instruction
•Take out all parts and accessories from the packaging.
•Take out the fixed screw on the pole and use it to connect pole, base cover and base.
•Extend the pole to the appropriate height and screw on the body with two screws.
•Open (clockwise) and take out the locker on the head.
•Put the back net on the engine and fastened the locker with the screw.
•Put the blade into the central axis and fix it by the cap locker (anti-clockwise).
•Put the front net inside the net ring as match.
•Fasten the screw of the net ring.
•Assemble the PV module support structure and adjust the bracket angle.
•Connect the power socket on the back of the fan with one of the delivered power
supply’s:
a) The 30W Solar panel with assembled bracket, 5m long cable and power Jack.
b) To a DC 12 V battery, with the delivered plug&wire and red+black clips.
c) To the electricity network with the right DC adapter power jack
(5,5x2,5 mm), e.g. during the night.
•Push one of the speed buttons on and the fan will work if installed correct.

Button 0 : Stop Working
Button 1 : Low speed
Button 2 : Medium speed
Button 3 : High speed
(If the sun is limited, use this button to get max use of the Solar panel)
Timer : Adjustable from 0 – 60 minutes adjustable
Oscillating Button
When the fan is working in speed, push this button to start or stop oscillating.
Height adjustment
Unscrew the height button to adjust the pole’s height as you need, then screw it on again.
Bracket angle adjustment
Use the 4 angle buttons to adjust the PV panel to the correct angle. If placed on the ground,
the shadow of the panel will show when you’re in the perfect 90 degrees angle to the sun.
PV solar panel
Connect the 30W panel plug terminal, push the speed button on and the fan starts working
with the free energy of the sun.
DC wire with clips
Connect this wire plug terminal and the alligator clips to the 12 V DC battery, push the speed
button on and the fan starts working.
Universal power supply
With the delivered screwdriver, set (turn) on the bottom side of the appliance the red
revolving switch to 12 V(output DC voltage).
Choose the Socket 5,5x2,5/12mm and plug it into the cable end-socket with the correct
polarity – arrow to arrow and POSITIVE middle (if you do not do this right, the fan will
rotate in reverse and can damage the fan).

Connect the adapter output plug into the fan socket and the power source into the electricity
network. A lit-on control light indicates the power source is on. Push the speed button on and
the fan starts working.
6. Detailed Features
•Fan working angle:
With oscillating function, the fan head moves 210 degrees from left to right and right
to left in cycle.
•The fan head can also be lift up or down 130 degrees.
•The optimal insolation angle of PV solar panel can be adjusted between 0 – 90
degrees.
•The Solar panel bracket can be mounted to a wall. There’s already holes for this.
7. Attention
•Only the 30W/9V Solar PV Module from the kit can be used as a Solar Panel power-
supply.
•Operating voltage is 12 V if a battery is used as power-supply. Always check the
polarity is correct.
•It is very important to use the included power Jack as it has the right size and polarity.
•If you’re not using the fan over a longer period, make sure it’s turned off and unplug
it.
•Please don’t keep the machine near humid, wet or flammable places.
8. Warnings
•It is important to connect the battery with right polarity as reverse polarity will
permanently damage the solar fan!
•It is very important to connect the DC adapter (switching power supply) with right
polarity and output voltage 12V, as reverse polarity or wrong voltage will permanently
damage the solar fan or the DC adapter!
•The solar fan and all included appliances, except the PV Module, is intended for use in
dry, interior and electrically safe premises.
•The circuit board is made by high-precision electronic components, please do not
disassemble or change the internal circuit, otherwise it may lead to electric shock!
•If the appliance, powered by the b) or c) power source, works incorrectly, immediately
check the polarity or the right 12V voltage of the source and immediately change to

the right polarity or voltage - Do not short-circuit the power sources and do not
overload it!
•Please don’t put it into moisture or corrosive substances, it may damage the inside
circuit, even cause an electric shock hazard!
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for they safety.
•Be aware that if the fan is turned on and connected to the solar panel but not running,
it will start to run automatically when the sun shines again.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliances.
Do not intervene into the solar fan components; do not disassemble or change the
internal circuit.
It is not allowed to use other type of Photovoltaic modules or multiple panels.
It is not allowed to use a battery together with the PV module or the DC adapter for
electrical supply. A battery directly connected to the solar panel will not charge and will
destroy both.
Be Aware! Any of the above can damage the ventilator appliances and is not covered by
the warranty!
In case of post-warranty-period malfunction, contact your dealer.
