INSTALLATION
Das Gerät ist für den direkten Anschluss an den
USB Port eines PC and an ein Netzwerk nach DIN
EN 14908-2 vorgesehen.
Eine separate Spannungsversorgung ist nicht er-
forderlich. Das Gerät wird über den USB An-
schluss versorgt.
Legen Sie die Drivers & Documentation CD in
den PC ein, damit der Treiber bei Anschluss des
Gerätes gefunden werden kann.
Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB Kabel mit
dem USB Anschluss des PC und dem USB An-
schluss des Easylon Interfaces. Die Anschlüsse
sind auf der Geräteunterseite gekennzeichnet.
Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit dem Netzwerk. Dazu
stehen auf der Netzwerkseite zwei alternativ nutz-
bare Anschlüsse zur Verfügung.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Das Easylon USB Interface+ist ein Kommunikati-
onsadapter zwischen dem USB Port eines Windows
PC und einem DIN EN 14908 konformen Netz-
werk. Es dient der Kommunikation zwischen bei-
den mittels LON Protokoll.
Treiber stehen für Windows und Windows Server
Betriebssystems ab XP (32- und 64 Bit) sowie für
Long-Term Linux Kernel ab 2.6.32 zur Verfügung.

INSTALLATION
The device is directly connected to the USB port
of a PC and to an ISO/IEC 14908-2 compliant
network.
A separate power supply is not required as power
is provided via the USB connection to the PC.
Insert the Drivers & Documentation CD to make
the drivers available when the device is connected.
Connect the USB socket of the interface device to
an USB port of the PC using the cable delivered
with the device. Connectors can be identified by
the sticker at the device bottom.
Connect the device to the network using either the
RJ45 jack or the 3 pin screw plug connector which
can be used alternatively.

DESCRIPTION
The Easylon USB Interface+is a communication
adapter between a Windows PC’s USB port and an
ISO/IEC 14908 or EN 14908 compliant network. It
serves for communication between both using the
LON protocol.
Drivers are available for Windows and Windows
Server operating systems from XP onwards (32 it
and 64 bit) and for Linux versions with long term
kernel support as of 2.6.32.
